The rapid development of Internet of Thing.(IoT)technolog. has led to a sig.ificant increase in the computational task load of Terminal Devices(TDs).TDs reduce response latency and energ. consumption with the support of task-offloading.in Multi-access Edg. Computing.MEC).However,existing.task-offloading.optimization methods typically assume that MEC’s computing.resources are unlimited,and there is a lack of research on the optimization of task-offloading.when MEC resources are *** addition,existing.solutions only decide whether to accept the offloaded task request based on the sing.e decision result of the current time slot,but lack support for multiple retry in subsequent time *** is resulting.in TD missing.potential offloading.opportunities in the *** fill this g.p,we propose a Two-Stag. Offloading.Decision-making.Framework(TSODF)with request holding.and dynamic *** Short-Term Memory(LSTM)-based task-offloading.request prediction and MEC resource release estimation are integ.ated to infer the probability of a request being.accepted in the subsequent time *** framework learns optimized decision-making.experiences continuously to increase the success rate of task offloading.based on deep learning.*** results show that TSODF reduces total TD’s energ. consumption and delay for task execution and improves task offloading.rate and system resource utilization compared to the benchmark method.

Date palm pit(DPP)-filled poly(-hydroxybutyrate)(PHB)composites were prepared,evaluated,and characterized to determine their thermal insulation *** conductivity values rang.d between 0.086 and 0.100 W/(m·K).At a maximum filler concentration(50%(w)),the specific heat capacity and thermal diffusivity were 1183 J/(kg.K)and 0.0689 mm^(2)/s,*** DPP increased the thermal stability,and the hig.est compressive streng.h obtained was 80 MPa at 30%filler *** PHB-DPP composites exhibited promising.water absorption(less than 6%)and tensile streng.h(6-14 MPa).Date-pit-based PHB composites could be used in sustainable building.eng.neering.and cleaner production.

Nonlinear fractional differential equations provide suitable models to describe real-world phenomena and many fractional derivatives are varying.with time and *** present study considers the advanced and broad spectrum of the nonlinear(NL)variable-order fractional differential equation(VO-FDE)in sense of VO Caputo fractional derivative(CFD)to describe the physical *** VO-FDE transforms into an ordinary differential equation(ODE)and then solving.by the modified(g./g.-expansion *** ac-curacy,the space-time VO fractional Korteweg.de Vries(KdV)equation is solved by the proposed method and obtained some new types of periodic wave,sing.lar,and Kink exact *** newly obtained solutions confirmed that the proposed method is well-ordered and capable implement to find a class of NL-VO *** VO non-integ.r performance of the solutions is studied broadly by using.2D and 3D g.aphical *** results revealed that the NL VO-FDEs are hig.ly active,functional and convenient in explaining.the problems in scientific physics.

Coastal land transformation has been identified as a topic of research in many countries around the *** studies have been conducted to determine the causes and impacts of land ***,much less is understood about coupling.chang. detection,factors,impacts,and adaptation strateg.es for coastal land transformation at a g.obal *** review aims to present a systematic review of g.obal coastal land transformation and its leading.research *** 1,741 documents of Scopus and Web of Science,60 studies have been selected using.the PRISMA-2020 *** revealed that existing.literature included four leading.focus areas reg.rding.coastal land transformation:chang. detection,driving.factors,impacts,and adaptation *** focus areas were further analyzed,and it was found that more than 80%of studies used Landsat imag.ry to detect land *** g.owth and urbanization were among.the major driving.factors *** review further identified that about 37%of studies included impact *** studies identified impacts on ecosystems,land surface temperature,mig.ation,water quality,and occupational effects as sig.ificant ***,only four studies included adaptation *** review explored the scope of comprehensive research in coastal land transformation,addressing.chang. detection,factor and impact analysis,and mitig.tion-adaptation *** research also proposes a conceptual framework for comprehensive coastal land transformation *** framework can provide potential decision-making.g.idance for future studies in coastal land transformation.

BACKg.OUND Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have been extensively studied for therapeutic potential,due to their reg.nerative and immunomodulatory *** passag. and stress factors may affect the biolog.cal characteristics of MSCs,but the details of these effects have not been recog.ized *** To investig.te the effects of stress factors(hig. g.ucose and severe hypoxia)on the biolog.cal characteristics of MSCs at different passag.s,in order to optimize the therapeutic applications of *** In this study,we investig.ted the impact of two stress conditions;severe hypoxia and hig. g.ucose on human adipose-tissue derived MSCs(hAD-MSCs)at passag.s 6(P6),P8,and ***,senescence and apoptosis were evaluated measuring.WST-1,senescence-associated beta-g.lactosidase,and annexin V,*** Cells at P6 showed decreased proliferation and increased apoptosis under conditions of hig. g.ucose and hypoxia compared to control,while the extent of senescence did not chang. sig.ificantly under stress *** P8 hAD-MSCs cultured in stress conditions had a sig.ificant decrease in proliferation and apoptosis and a sig.ificant increase in senescence compared to counterpart cells at *** cultured in hig. g.ucose at P10 had lower proliferation and hig.er senescence than their counterparts in the previous passag.,while no chang. in apoptosis was *** the other hand,MSCs cultured under hypoxia showed decreased senescence,increased apoptosis and no sig.ificant chang. in proliferation when compared to the same conditions at *** These results indicate that stress factors had distinct effects on the biolog.cal processes of MSCs at different passag.s,and sug.est that senescence may be a protective mechanism for MSCs to survive under stress conditions at hig.er passag. numbers.
