We report on the temperature-dependent Schottky barrier in organic solar cells based on PTB7:*** ideality factor is found to increase with temperature decreasing,which is explained by a model in which the solar cell is taken as Schottky barrier ***,the dark current in the device originates from the thermally emitted electrons across the Schottky *** fittings obtained with the thermal emission theory are systematically studied at different *** is concluded that the blend/Ca/Al interface presents great inhomogeneity,which can be described by 2 sets of Gaussian distributions with large zero bias standard *** the decrease of temperature,electrons favor going across the Schottky barrier patches with lower barrier height and as a consequence the ideally factor significantly increases at low temperature.

This paper addresses a gradient tracking problem of a bilinear reaction–diffusion equation evolvingin a spatial domainΩ ⊂ Rn, n ≤ 3. Such an equation is excited with distributed and boundedcontrols. The problem is formulated by the minimisation of a functional constituted of the deviationbetween the desired gradient and the current one all over a time interval and the energyterm. Then we prove the existence of an optimal control that we characterise by an optimalitysystem. Moreover, we discuss two sets of particular controls: the set of time dependent controlsand the space dependent ones. A computational approach and illustrative simulations are alsogiven.

This work presents the results of a set of steady-state numerical simulations about heat transfer in hollow blocks in the presence of coupled natural convection,conduction and *** with two air cells deep in the vertical direction and three identical cavities in the horizontal direction are considered(typically used for building ceilings).Moreover,their outside horizontal surface is subjected to an incident solar flux and outdoor environment temperature while the inside surface is exposed to typical indoor environment *** flows are considered laminar and two-dimensional over the whole range of parameters *** conservation equations are solved by means of a finite difference method based on the control volumes approach,relying on the SIMPLE algorithm for what concerns the coupling of pressure and *** effects of the number of cells in the horizontal direction and the thermal conductivity on the heat transfer through the alveolar structure have been *** results show that the number of holes has a significant impact on the value of the overall heat flux through the considered structure.

In this paper,some effort is provided to optimize the geometry of a concrete hollow brick(used in the construction of building roofs)in order to increase the related thermal resistance,thereby reducing energy *** analysis is conducted for three different configurations of the hollow concrete *** of conduction,natural convection and thermal radiation phenomena is ***,the flows are assumed to be laminar and two-dimensional for the whole range of parameters *** conservation equations are solved by a finite difference method based on the control volumes approach and the SIMPLE algorithm for velocity-pressure *** results show that the aspect ratio affects neither the nature of the fluid flow nor the number of convective ***,the extension of the circulation cells increases with this ***,the cavities with a large aspect ratio lead to significant reductions in the heat transfer through the hollow block,these reductions reaching approximately 14%.

The strong association between human papillomavirus(HPV)infection and oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma(SCC)is well-documented,with p16 expression serving as a reliable predictor of HPV ***-related tumors are characterized by distinct mechanisms affecting p16 and p53 protein ***,the prevalence of HPV and the combined predictive utility of p16 and p53 expression in head and neck cutaneous SCC remain less explored,necessitating further research to understand their role in this subset of ***,p16,and p53 statuses were determined using immunohistochemistry staining methods rather than more sensitive techniques such as polymerase chain reaction or HPV genotyping,limiting the ability to assess specific area HPV types poten-tially associated with *** studies assessing multiple molecular markers in head and neck cutaneous patients will better predict the diverse outcomes and potentially the type of treatment targeted to those markers.

The aim of this research is to assess the seismic performance of reinforced concrete columns under different axial load and transverse reinforcement ratios. These two parameters are very important as for the ductility, strength, stiffness, and energy dissipation capacity for a given reinforced concrete column. Effects of variable axial load ratio and transverse reinforcement ratio on the seismic performance of reinforced concrete columns are thoroughly analyzed. The finite element computer program Seismo-Structure was used to perform the analysis of series of reinforced concrete columns tested by the second author and other researchers. In order to reflect the reality and grasp the actual behavior of the specimens, special attention was paid to select the models for concrete, confined concrete, and steel components. Good agreements were obtained between the experimental and the analytical results either for the lateral force-drift relationships or for the damage progress prediction at different stages of the loading.

The considerable and significant progress achieved in the design and development of new interaction devices between man and machine has enabled the emergence of various powerful and efficient input and/or output devices. Each of these new devices brings specific interaction modes. With the emergence of these devices, new interaction techniques and modes arise and new interaction capabilities are offered. New user interfaces need to be designed or former ones need to evolve. The design of so called plastic user interfaces contributes to handling such evolutions. The key requirement for the design of such a user interface is that the new obtained user interface shall be adapted to the application and have, at least, the same behavior as the previous （adapted） one. This paper proposes to address the problem of user interface evolution due to the introduction of new interaction devices and/or new interaction modes. More, precisely, we are interested by the study of the design process of a user interface resulting from the evolution of a former user interface due to the introduction of new devices and/or new interaction capabilities. We consider that interface behaviors are described by labelled transition systems and comparison between user interfaces is handled by an extended definition of the bi-simulation relationship to compare user interface behaviors when interaction modes are replaced by new ones.

A new concrete-composite beam with high mechanical performances to weight ratio is developed in this study. The proposed design technique consists to embed a cylindrical polymer tube wrapped by a GFRP Jacket in the mechanically ineffective concrete tensile zone. An experimental investigation is carried out on composite beams under bending loads until failure to evaluate the flexural capacity and the corresponding failure mechanisms. Based on the experimental results, statistical and preliminary reliability analyses using the FORM method are performed to assess the safety margin of the new beam. The confrontation between test and simulation results shows a satisfactory agreement, and represents a promising revelation regarding the improvement in terms of strength and ductility of such design compared to conventional reinforced concrete beams with traditional one.
