We ca.ried out this resea.ch a. a.u-Ga.da. Na.ura. Forest Reserve (a.FR) which is loca.ed ea.t of Blue Nile River, in Blue Nile Sta.e, Suda.. It a.ms a. exploring tree composition a.sessing their diversity indices, a.d ecologica. importa.ce va.ues. For survey of types a.d estima.ion of density of tree species in the forest, we ra.domly distributed 97 circula. sa.ple plots (0.1 hecta.e (ha.). In ea.h sa.ple plot we identified a.l trees to the species level, recorded their frequencies a.d computed species diversity a.d importa.ce va.ue indices (IVI). a.tota. of 13 tree species, which belong to 12 genera.a.d nine fa.ilies, were identified in the tree la.er of the forest. Mea. tree density in a.FR wa. 116 trees/ha. composed ma.nly of Boswellia.pa.yrifera.(Del.) Hochst. (48), followed by Combretum ha.tma.nia.u (19) a.d La.nea.fruticosa.(18). Fa.a.ea. wa. the most common fa.ily followed by Combreta.ea. a.d Ma.va.ea.. B. pa.yrifera.Delile Hochst wa. the most a.unda.t while a.a.ia.seya. wa. the lea.t a.unda.t species. Species richness (R = 1.71), evenness (E = 0.69), domina.ce (0.24) indices a.d Simpson’s Index of Diversity (D' = 0.76) suggest a.modera.e diversity, modera.e numbers of individua.s in ea.h species a.d a.modera.e community sta.ility. The resea.ch provides empirica. results on diversity a.d ecologica. importa.ce va.ue of species, signifies the urging need to sa.egua.d threa.ened species a.d to prioritize them for conserva.ion, a. well a. the need to promote ma.a.ement of a.unda.t species to provide multiple forest ecosystem services.

Existing pre-tra.ned models like Distil HuBERT excel a. uncovering hidden pa.terns a.d fa.ilita.ing a.cura.e recognition a.ross diverse da.a.types, such a. a.dio a.d visua. informa.ion. We ha.nessed this ca.a.ility to develop a.deep lea.ning model tha. utilizes Distil HuBERT for jointly lea.ning these combined fea.ures in speech emotion recognition (SER). Our experiments highlight its distinct a.va.ta.es: it significa.tly outperforms Wa.2vec 2.0 in both offline a.d rea.-time a.cura.y on Ra.DESS a.d Ba.ED da.a.ets. a.though slightly tra.ling HuBERT’s offline a.cura.y, Distil HuBERT shines with compa.a.le performa.ce a. a.fra.tion of the model size, ma.ing it a. idea. choice for resource-constra.ned environments like mobile devices. This sma.ler size does come with a.slight tra.e-off: Distil HuBERT a.hieved nota.le a.cura.y in offline eva.ua.ion, with 96.33% on the Ba.ED da.a.a.e a.d 87.01% on the Ra.DESS da.a.a.e. In rea.-time eva.ua.ion, the a.cura.y decrea.ed to 79.3% on the Ba.ED da.a.a.e a.d 77.87% on the Ra.DESS da.a.a.e. This decrea.e is likely a.result of the cha.lenges a.socia.ed with rea.-time processing, including la.ency a.d noise, but still demonstra.es strong performa.ce in pra.tica. scena.ios. Therefore, Distil HuBERT emerges a. a.compelling choice for SER, especia.ly when prioritizing a.cura.y over rea.-time processing. Its compa.t size further enha.ces its potentia. for resource-limited settings, ma.ing it a.versa.ile tool for a.wide ra.ge of a.plica.ions.

This pa.er dea.s with the Course Timeta.ling Problem a. a. institution in a.Tunisia. University. We introduce a.heuristic procedure to construct a.fea.ible timeta.le for a.l lectures a.d tutoria.s ta.en by different groups of ea.h sub-section of a.y section. We describe the timeta.ling problem using a.list of a.l specific ha.d a.d soft constra.nts. We formula.e the problem a. a.set of linea. constra.nts using two sets of bina.y va.ia.les corresponding to lectures a.d tutoria.s, respectively. This heuristic is illustra.ed with rea. da.a.for a.sub-section of the Fa.ulty of Economics a.d Ma.a.ement Sciences of Sfa. in Tunisia. a.d the resulting timeta.les a.e compa.ed with those genera.ed ma.ua.ly. The results of a.other full section ha.e confirmed the good qua.ity of the proposed heuristic when compa.ed with the ha.d ma.e solution.
