this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).the effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

Ru/NiMnB spherical cluster pillar for highly proficient green hydrogen electrocatalyst at high current density

Advanced OER/HER electrocatalytic alternatives are crucial for the wide adaptation of green hydrogen ***,Ru/NiMnB spherical cluster pillar （SCP）,denoted as Ru/NiMnB,is synthesized using a combination of electro-deposition and hydrothermal *** investigation of Ru doping in the NiMnB matrix revealed significant improvements in electrocatalytic *** Ru/NiMnB SCPs demonstrate superior OER/HER activity with low overpotentials of 150 and 103 mV at 50mA/cm2in 1 M KOH,making them highly competitive with state-of-the-art ***,the Ru/NiMnB SCPs exhibit a low 2-E cell voltage of 2.80 V at ultra-high current density of 2,000 m A/cm2in 1 M KOH,outperforming the standard benchmark electrodes of RuO2||Pt/C,thereby positioning Ru/NiMnB as one of the best bifunctional *** SCPs exhibit exceptional high-current characteristics,stability and corrosion resistance,as evidenced by continuous operation at 1,000 mA/cm2high-current density for over 150 h in 6 M KOH at elevated temperatures under harsh industrial *** a small amount of Ru incorporation significantly enhances the electrocatalytic performances of NiMnB,attributed to increased active sites and improved intrinsic properties such as conductivity,adsorption/desorption capability and reaction ***,Ru/NiMnB SCPs present a promising bi-functional electrode concept for efficient green H2production.

Predication of discharge coefficient of cylindrical weir- gate using adaptive neuro fuzzy inference systems （ANFIS）

Settlement of sediments behind weirs and accumulation of materials floating on water behind gates decreases the performance of these structures. Weir-gate is a combination of weir and gate structures which solves them Infirmities. Proposing a circular shape for crest of weirs to improve their performance, investigators have proposed cylindrical shape to improve the performance of weir-gate structure and call it cylindrical weir-gate. In this research, discharge coefficient of weir-gate was predicated using adaptive neuro fuzzy inference systems （ANFIS）. to compare the performance of ANFIS with other types of soft computing techniques, multilayer perceptron neural network （MLP） was prepared as well. Results of MLP and ANFIS showed that both models have high ability for modeling and predicting discharge coefficient; however, ANFIS is a bit more accurate. the sensitivity analysis of MLP and ANFIS showed that Froude number of flow at upstream of weir and ratio of gate opening height to the diameter of weir are the most effective parameters on discharge coefficient.

Characterization of NbSi_2–Al_2O_3 nanocomposite coatings prepared with plasma spraying mechanically alloyed powders

the present study characterized NbSi2-Al2O3 nanocomposite powders plasma-sprayed on ti-6Al-4Vsubstrates. the powders were agglomerated to obtain suitable particle sizes for spraying. the agglomerated powders were then plasma-sprayed using atmospheric plasma spraying. the structural transformations of the powders along with the morphological and mechanical changes of the coatings were examined by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and hard- ness testing. the results showed that after plasma spraying, the grain size increased, and the lattice strain decreased. However, the grain size of this compound after spraying was still in the nanometer range. the coating was uniform and exhibited good adhesion to the substrate. the microhardness and fracture toughness of the nanocomposite coating were higher than those of a nanostructured NbSi2 coating.

Machine learning enabled identification and real-time prediction of living plants’ stress using terahertz waves

Considering the ongoing climate transformations, the appropriate and reliable phenotyping information of plant leaves is quite significant for early detection of disease, yield improvement. In real-life digital agricultural environment, the real-time prediction and identification of living plants leaves has immensely grown in recent years. Hence, cost-effective and automated and timely detection of plans species is vital for sustainable agriculture. this paper presents a novel, non-invasive method aiming to establish a feasible, and viable technique for the precise identification and observation of altering behaviour of plants species at cellular level for four consecutive days by integrating machine learning (ML) and tHz with a swissto12 materials characterization kit (MCK) in the frequency range of 0.75 to 1.1 tHz. For this purpose, measurements observations data of seven various living plants leaves were determined and incorporate three different ML algorithms such as random forest (RF), support vector machine, (SVM), and K-nearest neighbour (KNN). the results demonstrated that RF exhibited higher accuracy of 98.87% followed by KNN and SVM with an accuracy of 94.64% and 89.67%, respectively, for precise detection of different leaves by observing their morphological features. In addition, RF outperformed other classifiers for determination of water-stressed leaves and having an accuracy of 99.42%. It is envisioned that proposed study can be proven beneficial and vital in digital agriculture technology for the timely detection of plants species to significantly help in mitigate yield and economic losses and improve crops quality.

Simple operated multipurpose temperature control cryostat

A suitable simple optical cryostat for optical, magneto-optical, electrical and thermo-electrical measurements was designed. It is suitable for use in a magnetic pool gap as narrow as less than 1 cm. throughout a long period of time, the heat diffusion process of the cryostat can be easily operated at slow increase in sample temperature in a range 1.25 K/min at 200 K that will be reduced gradually to 0.66 K at room temperature. Liquid nitrogen was used to cool down the temperature. During the operation, the change in the measured energy gap of a semiconductor sample and other physical parameters resulting from the change of temperature can be corrected through the temperature coefficient of that parameter at the corresponding temperature. the cryostat was successfully used for all experiments mentioned above to measure the properties of a single crystal of GaP (Gallium Phosphate) semiconductor.

Analysis of thermal responses in a two-dimensional porous medium caused by pulse heat flux

In this article, the generalized model for thermoelastic waves with two relaxation times is utilized to compute the increment of temperature, the displacement components, the stress components, and the changes in the volume fraction field in a two-dimensional porous medium. By using the Fourier-Laplace transform and the eigenvalue method, the considered variables are obtained analytically. the derived approach is estimated with numerical outcomes which are applied to the porous media with a geometrical simplification. the numerical results for the considered variables are performed and presented graphically. Finally, the outcomes are represented graphically to display the difference among the classical dynamical(CD) coupled, the Lord-Shulman(LS), and the Green-Lindsay(GL) models.
