Industrialization has led to a number of environmental problems, such as release of toxic metals and other toxic organic and inorganic compounds to the environment. Among all, the rapid expansion of leather related industries in Pakistan have resulted in considerable environmental problems and effluents from processing of both domestic and imported hides and skins have increased pollution to alarming levels. Some tannery effluents of Peshawar area investigated in the present study showed high concentrations of Cr(Ⅵ) (2.7-12.6 mg/L), Cu(Ⅱ) (2.6-11.4 mg/L) and phenol (0.1-4.2 mg/L). These contaminants are very toxic and must be removed from effluents before releasing into water bodies. A new technique of gamma irradiation has been investigated to decrease the load of COD and concentrations of Cr(Ⅵ), Cu(Ⅱ) and phenol associated with tannery effluents to the permitted values. It was observed that concentration of Cr(Ⅵ) in the effluents can be brought to the permitted level by applying radiation dose of 3 kGy. A radiation dose of 2.5 kGy was required to remove more than 95% of Cu(Ⅱ) and 100 % degradation of phenol in tannery effluents could be achieved by only one kGy of radiation dose.

Emailing is among the cheapest and most easily accessible platforms,and covers every idea of the present century like banking,personal login database,academic information,invitation,marketing,advertisement,social engineering,model creation on cyber-based technologies,*** uncontrolled development and easy access to the internet are the reasons for the increased insecurity in email ***,this review paper aims to investigate deep learning approaches for detecting the threats associated with e-mail *** study compiles the literature related to the deep learning methodologies,which are applicable for providing safety in the field of cyber security of email in different *** data were extracted from different research *** paper discusses various solutions for handling these *** challenges and issues are also investigated for e-mail security threats including social engineering,malware,spam,and phishing in the existing solutions to identify the core current problem and set the road for future *** review analysis showed that communication media is the common platform for attackers to conduct fraudulent activities via spoofed e-mails and fake websites and this research has combined the merit and demerits of the deep learning approaches adaption in email security threat by the usage of models and *** study highlighted the contrasts of deep learning approaches in detecting email security *** review study has set criteria to include studies that deal with at least one of the six machine models in cyber security.

Dosimetric characterization of aqueous solution of basic fuchsin was studied spectrophotometrically for possible application in the low-dose food irradiation dosimetry. Absorption spectra of unirradiated and irradiated solu- tions were determined and the decrease in absorbance with the dose was noted down. Radiation-induced bleaching of the dye was measured at wavelengths of maximum absorption λmax (540nm) as well as 510nm and 460 nm. At all these wavelengths, the decrease in absorbance of the dosimeter was linear with respect to the absorbed dose from 50 Gy to 600 Gy. The stability of dosimetric solution during post-irradiation storage in the dark at room temperature showed that after initial bleaching during first ten to twenty days, the response was almost stable for about 34 days. The study on the effect of different light and temperature conditions also showed that the response gradually decreased during the storage period of 34 days, which shows that basic fuchsin dye is photosensitive as well as thermally sensitive.

Hydrodynamic Coefficients and Wave Excitation Forces for A Ship near A Quay

In this paper, the effects of a quay or a solid jetty on hydrodynamic coefficients and vertical wave excitation forces on a ship with or without forward speed are discussed. A modified simple Green function technique is used to calculate the 2D coefficients while the strip theory is used to calculate the 3D coefficients. Wave excitation forces are also calculated with the strip theory. Numerical results are provided for hydrodynamic coefficients and vertical wave excitation forces on a 200 000 DWT tanker ship. It is found that the quay has a considerable effect on the hydrodynamic coefficients and wave excitation forces for a ship.

One of the most important aims of this study is to improve the core of the current VVER reactors to achieve more burn-up(or more cycle length)and more intrinsic *** is an independent study on the Russian new proposed FAs,called TVS-2m,which would be applied for the future advanced *** important aspects of neutronics as well as thermal hydraulics investigations(and analysis)of the new type of Fas are conducted,and results are compared with the standards PWR *** TVS-2m FA contains gadolinium-oxide which is mixed with UO_(2)(for different Gd densities and U-235 enrichments which are given herein),but the core does not contain *** new type TVS-2m Fas are modeled by the SARCS software package to find the PmAXS format for three states of CZP and HZP as well as HFP,and then the whole core is simulated by the PARCS code to investigate transient *** addition,the WImS-D5 code is suggested for steady core modeling including TVS-2m FAs and/or TVS *** neutronics aspects such as the first cycle length(first cycle burn up in terms of mWthd/kgU),the critical concentration of boric acid at the BOC as well as the cycle length,the axial,and radial power peaking factors,differential and integral worthy of the most reactive CPS-CRs,reactivity coefficients of the fuel,moderator,boric acid,and the under-moderation estimation of the core are conducted and benchmarked with the PWR ***,the burn-up calculations indicate that the 45.6 d increase of the first cycle length(which corresponds to 1.18 mWthd/kgU increase of burnup)is the best improving aim of the new FA type called ***,thermal-hydraulics core design criteria such as mDNBR(based on W3 correlation)and the maximum of fuel and clad temperatures(radially and axially),are investigated,and discussed based on the CDBL.

In this work, an experimental study combined with numerical simulation was conducted to investigate the potential of chemically enhanced water alternating gas （CWAG） injection as a new enhanced oil recovery method. The unique feature of this new method is that it uses alkaline, surfactant, and polymer additives as a chemical slug which is injected during the water alternating gas （WAG） process to reduce the interfacial tension （IFT） and simultaneously improve the mobility ratio. In essence, the proposed CWAG process involves a combination of chemical flooding and immiscible carbon dioxide （CO2） injection and helps in IFT reduction, water blocking reduction, mobility control, oil swelling, and oil viscosity reduction due to CO2 dissolution. Its performance was compared with the conventional immiscible water alter- nating gas （I-WAG） flooding. Oil recovery utilizing CWAG was better by 26 % of the remaining oil in place after waterflooding compared to the recovery using WAG conducted under similar conditions. The coreflood data （cumulative oil and water production） were history mat- ched via a commercial simulator by adjusting the relative permeability curves and assigning the values of the rock and fluid properties such as porosity, permeability, and the experimentally determined IFT data. History matching ofthe coreflood model helped us optimize the experiments and was useful in determining the importance of the parameters influencing sweep efficiency in the CWAG process. The effectiveness of the CWAG process in pro- viding enhancement of displacement efficiency is evident in the oil recovery and pressure response observed in the coreflood. The results of sensitivity analysis on CWAG slug patterns show that the alkaline-surfactant-polymer injection is more beneficial after CO2 slug injection due to oil swelling and viscosity reduction.
