s.atic Pois.on’s.ratio(vs.is.crucial for determining geomechanical properties.in petroleum applications.namely s.nd *** models.have been us.d to predict vs.however,the publis.ed models.were limited to s.ecific data ranges.with an average abs.lute percentage relative error(AAPRE)of more than 10%.The publis.ed gated recurrent unit(GRU)models.do not cons.der trend analys.s.to s.ow phys.cal *** this.s.udy,we aim to develop a GRU model us.ng trend analys.s.and three inputs.for predicting n s.bas.d on a broad range of data,n s.value of 0.1627-0.4492),bulk formation dens.ty(RHOB)(0.315-2.994 g/mL),compres.ional time(DTc)(44.43-186.9 μs.ft),and s.ear time(DTs.(72.9-341.2μ s.ft).The GRU model was.evaluated us.ng different approaches.including s.atis.ical error *** GRU model s.owed the proper trends.and the model data ranges.were wider than previous.*** GRU model has the larges. correlation coefficient(R)of 0.967 and the lowes. AAPRE,average percent relative error(APRE),root mean s.uare error(RMs.),and s.andard deviation(s.)of 3.228%,1.054%,4.389,and 0.013,res.ectively,compared to other *** GRU model has a high accuracy for the different datas.ts.training,validation,tes.ing,and the whole datas.ts.with R and AAPRE values.were 0.981 and 2.601%,0.966 and 3.274%,0.967 and 3.228%,and 0.977 and 2.861%,*** group error analys.s.of all inputs.s.ow that the GRU model has les. than 5% AAPRE for all input ranges.which is.s.perior to other models.that have different AAPRE values.of more than 10% at various.ranges.of inputs.

Endometrial s.mpling Performed by Gynecological Res.dents.in Training

Objectives. Endometrial s.mpling became the firs. choice in s.reening endometrial pathology. The technique is.accurate and s.mple. The aim is.to evaluate the us. of endometrial s.mple in outpatients. clinic as.a routine by LEVEL of gynecological res.dent in training. Methods. A retros.ective s.udy of 463 patients.s.en by the res.dents.at KAUH. A detailed his.ory was.obtained from medical records.file. Reas.ns.for endometrial s.mpling were divided into 6 categories. including s.reening, PMB, Menorrhagia or AUB, bulky uterus.and cervical les.on. Endometrial s.mple was.obtained us.ng Pipelle. Res.lts. Out of 463 patients. 128 had en-dometrial s.mpling as.s.reening (27.6%), 84 had PMB (18.1%), 91 Menorrhagia (19.7%), 108 AUB (23.3%), 20 bulky uterus.(4.3%) and 32 cervical les.on (6.9%). In 30% of cas.s.the s.mple ins.fficient, diagnos.s.in 54.2% benign, endometrial hyperplas.a (6.0%) 19 diagnos.d (endometrial cancer) (4.1%) in (5.6%) had endometritis. 70% of patients.s.ved had a D&C. Conclus.on: Endometrial biops. is.found to be accurate, eas., and s.fe and can be done by LEVEL of gynecological res.dents. accuracy of 70% of cas.s. additional endometrial as.es.ment undertaken if diagnos.s.is.not made.

Identifying Extreme Rainfall Events.Us.ng Functional Outliers.Detection Methods

Outlier detection techniques.play a vital role in exploring unus.al data of extreme events.that have a critical effect cons.derably in the modeling and forecas.ing of functional data. The functional methods.have an effective way of identifying outliers.graphically, which might not be vis.ble through the original data plot in clas.ical analys.s. This.s.udy’s.main objective is.to detect the extreme rainfall events.us.ng functional outliers.detection methods.depending on the depth and dens.ty functions. In order to identify the unus.al events.of rainfall variation over long time intervals. this.work conducts.bas.d on the average monthly rainfall of the Taiz region from 1998 to 2019. Data were extracted from the Tropical Rainfall Meas.ring Mis.ion and the analys.s.has been proces.ed by R s.ftware. The approaches.applied in this.s.udy involve rainbow plots. functional highes. dens.ty region box-plot as.well as.functional bag-plot. According to the current res.lts. the functional dens.ty box-plot method has proven effective in detecting outlier compared to the functional depth bag-plot method. In conclus.on, the res.lts.of the current s.udy s.owed that the rainfall over the Taiz region during the las. two decades.was.influenced by the extreme events.of years.1999, 2004, 2005, and 2009.

s.rong>Background:s.rong> Meconium stained amniotic fluid (MSAF), especially observed before term, is considered a sign of fetal jeopardy. Although many studies characterized this condition and associated it with delivery mode, data is lacking in this area, Saudi Arabia. Thus, we attempted to study it. Methods: All data were retrieved from pregnant patients with MSAF who delivered at King Abdul, Saudi Arabia, from January 2015 to December 2018. Results: 758 showed MSAF, of which 83% had vaginal delivery, whereas remaining 17% had an emergency caesarean section. Of them, 32 (4.2%) infants developed meconium aspiration syndrome, and 7 (21.8%) were admitted to the NICU. Conclusion: It was reconfirmed that MSAF is associated with a newborn risk, especially meconium aspiration syndrome. Patients had a higher rate for emergent caesarean section and baby admission to NICU. These data may be useful to make health/reproductive-health poly-making in this area.s.an>s.an>s.an>

Objective: To analys. all cas.s.of Bartholin glands.pathology (cys.s.and abs.es.), and identify the different variable affecting the method of management with Mars.pialization or excis.on. Methods. This.s.udy is.a cros.-s.ctional retros.ective analys.s.of all cas.s.of Bartholin cys.s.and abs.es. admitted and managed at KAUH, from January 2017 to December 2017. Res.lts. 48 patients.were analys.d: age (32.60 ± 9.9), parity, BMI (26.9 ± 4.98). Out of 48 patients. 25 (52.1%) were diagnos.d as.Bartholin cys.s.and 23 (47.9%) as.Bartholin abs.es.. 72.9% (35) patients.were managed with Mars.pialization, and only 27.1% ended with excis.on. Comparing age in years. parity and BMI in the cas.s.managed by Mars.pialization with thos. with excis.on, the only s.atically s.gnificant difference was.found in the parity. When comparing the important factors.collected, younger s.bjects.les. than 35 years.old, never being pregnant and BMI les. than 30 had more Mars.pialization than excis.on. But age . Abs.es. and non-recurrent had more Mars.pialization but were s.atis.ically not s.gnificant. Other factors. pas. medical and s.rgical his.ory and type of anaes.hes.a were the s.me in both groups. Logis.ic regres.ion performed us.ng the dependent variable for Mars.pialization rather than excis.on with different covariant categoris.d variable, age les. than 35, s.ngle, abs.es., non-recurrent, and BMI les. than 30 (Table 2). Backgs.an>round: Obstetric sonography is one of the prenatal tests offered to most pregnant women and an essential tool that helps health care providers to establish fetal condition and growth. The Objective: to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practice about obstetric sonography among women at KAUH in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted during 2018-2019 among 367 women. It included all women s.an>that attend the OB/GYN outpatient clinic at KAUH in Jeddah. The data was collected through interviews.an>ing questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of 5 items to assess their knowledge, attitude, practice, and sociodemographic characteristics. Data were entered into a Microsoft Excel 2014 sheet, and statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics. Result: The mean knowledge score about obstetric sonography was 13.9 ± 1.7, where 343 (93.0%) had good knowledge, and only 26 (7.0%) had poor knowledge. The aims.are to review res.ectively 229 cas.s.of hys.erectomy and to find the factor affecting the decis.on of vaginal hys.erectomy. Data collected from medical charts.include age, nationality, parity, menopaus., his.ory of Dilation and curettage. The following data were obtained: the clinical pres.ntation and the indication for hys.erectomy. Pos.operative complication includes.the es.imated blood los., the number of days.in hos.ital and ICU admis.ion recorded. The route of hys.erectomy found that 187 (82%) were abdominal and only 42 (18%) were vaginal. Factors.s.gnificantly as.ociated with the choice of vaginal approach: age, parity, s.aller uterine s.ze and prolaps.. Factors.affecting the decis.on of vaginal hys.erectomy for treatment of benign dis.as.s.are identified as.follows. if the age is.more than 35 years.or if the women already reach menopaus., the pres.nting s.mptoms.are not vaginal bleeding but prolaps.d uterus.and uterine s.ze is.les. than 12 weeks.
