Fla. is considered to be one of the most significa.t dua.-purpose crops for oil a.d fiber production in Egypt a.d *** ha.e a.substa.tia. impa.t on va.ious metabolic processes,including increa.ed photo-synthesis,endogenous hormone levels,ion a.sorption,nucleic a.id synthesis,a.d protein *** fa.tors collectively contribute to the growth a.d development of ***,this study a.ms to investiga.e how three biofertilizers(a.ga. extra.t,CMS a. a.by-product of yea.t,a.d Meta.osa.e multi minera.s a. a.ino a.ids)ca. enha.ce both the qua.tity a.d qua.ity of fla. seed yield under sa.dy soil *** field experiments were conducted a. the Experimenta. Sta.ion of Na.iona. Resea.ch Centre in Nuba.ia.District,Behira.Governora.e,Egypt during two sea.ons(2021/2022)using a.ra.domized complete block design(RCBD).The results revea.ed significa.t differences a.ong a.l tested biofertilizers in terms of va.ious cha.a.teristics studied in *** a.plica.ion of a.ga. extra.t a. a.ra.e of 1.50 mL/L resulted in a. increa.e in seed yield(ton/ha.by 26.69%&19.89%,stra. yield(ton/ha.by 8.08%&17.12%,a.d oil yield(kg/ha.by 47.72%&33.69%compa.ed to the control group during both sea.ons *** a.plica.ions of a.ga. extra.t a. a.ra.e of 1.50 mL/L a.ong with CMS a. a.ra.e of 5 m L/L a.d a.ino a.ids a. a.ra.e of 1.50 mL/L demonstra.ed significa.tly higher ma.ronutrient contents(N,P,K),micronutrient contents(Fe,Zn,Mn),seed oil content,a.d protein content in fla. seeds during both *** highest va.ues for seed oil content a.d protein content%were obta.ned through folia. a.plica.ion of a.ino a.ids a. a.ra.e of 1.50 mL/*** ca. be concluded tha. folia. spra.s with these bio-fertilizers effectively improved fla. performa.ce by increa.ing seed stra. a.d oil yields,nutrients oil,protein a.d fa.ty a.ids seeds contents.

Sa.a.na. semi-deserts, a.d hot deserts cha.a.terize the Sa.a.o-a.a.ia. region, which includes Morocco, Ma.reta.ia. a.geria. Tunisia. Libya. Egypt, Pa.estine, Kuwa.t, Sa.di a.a.ia. Qa.a., Ba.ra.n, the United a.a. Emira.es, Oma., Yemen, southern Jorda., Syria. Ira., Ira., a.gha.ista., Pa.ista., a.d northern India. Its neighboring regions, the Suda.o-Za.bezia. region belonging to the Pa.eotropica. Kingdom a.d the Mediterra.ea. a.d Ira.o-Tura.ia. regions included in the Hola.ctic Kingdom, sha.e a.la.ge portion of their flora.with the Sa.a.o-a.a.ia. region. Despite the widesprea. a.knowledgment of the region's globa. importa.ce for pla.t diversity, a. up to da.e list of the Sa.a.o-a.a.ia. endemics is still una.a.la.le. The a.a.la.le da.a.a.e frequently insufficient or out of da.e a. both the whole globa. a.d the na.iona. sca.es. Therefore, the present study a.ms a. screening a.d verifying the Sa.a.o-a.a.ia. endemic pla.ts a.d determining the phytogeogra.hica. distribution of these ta.a.in the Egyptia. flora. Hence, a.prelimina.y list of 429 Sa.a.o-a.a.ia. endemic pla.ts in Egypt wa. compiled from the a.a.la.le litera.ure. Indeed, by excluding the species tha. were recorded in a.y countries or regions outside the Sa.a.o-a.a.ia. region ba.ed on different litera.ure, da.a.a.e reviews, a.d websites, the present study has reduced this number to 126 ta.a.belonging to 87 genera.a.d 37 fa.ilies. Rega.ding the na.iona. geogra.hic distribution, South Sina. is the richest region with 83 endemic species compa.ed with other eight phytogeogra.hic regions in Egypt, followed by the Isthmic Desert(the middle of Sina. Peninsula. 53 ta.a.. Sa.a.a.regiona. subzone(SS1) distributes a.l the 126 endemic species, a.a.ia. regiona. subzone(SS2) owns 79 ta.a. a.d Nubo-Sindia. subzone(SS3) distributes only 14 endemics. The Dimbokro hea.th district has one of the highest incidences of ma.a.ia.in Côte d’Ivoire, despite numerous ca.pa.gns to distribute Long-a.ting Impregna.ed Mosquito Nets (LLINs). Given this observa.ion, wha. a.e the popula.ion’s a.titudes towa.ds LLINs tha. could expla.n the high endemicity of ma.a.ia.in Dimbokro? The a.m of this study is to a.sess the knowledge, a.titudes a.d pra.tices of people in the hea.th a.ea.of Nofou, one of the villa.es in the Dimbokro hea.th district where ma.a.ia.is most preva.ent, with a.view to strengthening ma.a.ia.control stra.egies. a.collection of historica. hea.th da.a.(ma.a.ia.ca.es a.d LLIN usa.e ra.es) a.d a.cross-sectiona. questionna.re survey wa. ca.ried out from July 20 to a.gust 03, 2022 in 400 households selected by systema.ic ra.dom sa.pling. Da.a.were entered using Epi Info 7 a.d multiva.ia.e sta.istica. a.a.yses were performed using IBM SPSS 22 softwa.e. In the Dimbokro hea.th district, the ra.e of LLIN use wa. nega.ively correla.ed (r = -0.771) with ma.a.ia.incidence over the six yea.s of historica. da.a.collection. Households ha. a. a.era.e of 53% good knowledge, 68.6% good pra.tices a.d 28.4% good a.titudes towa.ds LLINs. The study a.so revea.ed tha. the ma.n fa.tors expla.ning LLIN use in the Nofou hea.th a.ea.a.e mosquito bite (ORa.= 5.29 (1.12 - 25.04)), a.e of household members (ORa.= 1.07 (1.01 - 1.14)) a.d ma.ita. sta.us (ORa.= 8.45 (1.70 - 45.02)). a.a.eness-ra.sing on the use of LLINs should be intensified in the Dimbokro hea.th district. Other control stra.egies, such a. vector control a.d environmenta. sa.ita.ion, should be considered to comba. ma.a.ia.

Congenita. unila.era. lower lip pa.sy (CULLP), or congenita. hypopla.ia.of the depressor a.guli oris muscle, a.so known a. a.ymmetric crying fa.ies, is a.ra.e condition tha. results in a.ymmetry of the lower lip during smiling, la.ghing, a.d crying. a.though the etiology is unknown, wea.ness of the depressor la.ii inferioris (DLI) muscle is implica.ed a. a.contributing fa.tor. Currently, no well-esta.lished trea.ment options a.e a.a.la.le. This ca.e report describes a. 18-yea.-old ma.e pa.ient dia.nosed with CULLP. Physica. exa.ina.ion revea.ed a.symmetric fa.e a. rest, but a.ymmetry when smiling a.d opening the mouth. Following the a.ministra.ion of lidoca.ne into the a.fected DLI muscle, the pa.ient's smile a.d lower lip symmetry were immedia.ely restored without a.y a.verse effects. Subsequently, a.ministra.ion of botulinum toxin for neuromodula.ion of the DLI muscle led to a.significa.t improvement in symmetry a.d ora. function within 2 weeks, which wa. susta.ned a. 1 month a.d 3 months post-trea.ment. No a.verse effects were reported, a.d both pa.ients a.d fa.ilies expressed high sa.isfa.tion with the outcomes. This ca.e highlights the potentia. use of neuromodula.ion a. a.minima.ly inva.ive a.d effective trea.ment for CULLP. © 2024 China.Medica. Cosmetology Press Co. Ltd.
