Federated Learning(FL)is a type of distributed deep learning framework in which multiple devices train a local model using local data,and the gradients of the local model are then sent to a central server that aggregates them to create a global *** type of framework is ideal where data privacy is of utmost importance because the data never leave the local ***,a major concern in FL is ensuring the data quality of local training *** there is no control over the local training data,ensuring that the local model is trained on clean data becomes challenging.A model trained on poor-quality data can have a significant impact on its *** this paper,we propose a decentralized approach using blockchain to ensure local model data *** use miners to validate each local model by checking its accuracy against a secret testing *** is done using a smart contract that the miners invoke during the mining *** local model is aggregated with the global model only if it passes a preset accuracy *** test our proposed method on two datasets:the Brain Tumor Classification dataset from Kaggle,comprised of 7000 MRI images divided into two classes(Tumor/No Tumor),and the Medical MNIST dataset,which includes 58,954 images classified into six different classes:AbdomenCT,BreastMRI,ChestCT,Chest X-ray,Hand X-ray,and *** results show that our method outperforms the original FL approach in all experiments.

1 Introduction Over one million cardiac pacemakers are implanted every year worldwide,[11 of which approximately 200,000 are implanted in the United States alone.121 Combined with an aging population and increasing pacing indications, these numbers are expected to grow. Since the first pacemaker implantation in 1950s, cardiac pacemaker technology has rapidly advanced. Reduction in generator size, increased battery longevity, quality of pacemaker leads, algorithmic and rate responsive programming-all have revolutionized and transformed the implantation and management of transvenous cardiac pacemaker （TV-PPM）.

During the early Paleogene,greenhouse gases created warm global *** warm climates redistributed the habitat of marine and terrestrial biota *** the ecology of biotas under extremely warm climates is important to decipher their behavior in future climate *** we report two new legume fossils(Leguminocarpum meghalayensis bhatia,Srivastava et Mehrotra ***.,and Parvileguminophyllum damalgiriensis bhatia,Srivastava et Mehrotra ***.) from the late Paleocene sediments of Tura Formation of Meghalaya,northeast ***,the Paleocene legume fossil records indicate that legumes most likely immigrated to India from Africa via the Ladakh-Kohistan Arc during the early ***,previously reconstructed climate data from the Tura Formation indicate that legumes were well adapted to a warm seasonal climate with monsoon rains.

For carrier-based unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),one of the important problems is the design of an automatic carrier landing system(ACLS)that would enable the UAVs to accomplish autolanding on the aircraft ***,due to the movements of the flight deck with six degree-of-freedom,the autolanding becomes *** solve this problem,an accurate and effective ACLS is developed,which is composed of an optimal preview control based flight control system and a Kalman filter based deck motion *** preview control fuses the future information of the reference glide slope to improve landing *** reference glide slope is normally a straight ***,the deck motion will change the position of the ideal landing point,and tracking the ideal straight glide slope may cause landing ***,the predictive deck motion information from the deck motion predictor is used to correct the reference glide slope,which decreases the dispersion around the desired landing ***,simulations are carried out to verify the performance of the designed ACLS based on a nonlinear UAV model.

The mathematical model of quadcopter-unmanned aerial vehicle （UAV） is derived by using two approaches： One is the Newton-Euler approach which is formulated using classical meehanics; and other is the Euler-Lagrange approach which describes the model in terms of kinetic （translational and rotational） and potential energy. The proposed quadcopter＇s non-linear model is incorporated with aero-dynamical forces generated by air resistance, which helps aircraft to exhibits more realistic behavior while hovering. Based on the obtained model, the suitable control strategy is developed, under which two effective flight control systems are developed. Each control system is created by cascading the proportional-derivative （PD） and T-S fuzzy controllers that are equipped with six and twelve feedback signals individually respectively to ensure better tracking, stabilization, and response. Both pro- posed flight control designs are then implemented with the quadcopter model respectively and multitudinous simulations are conducted using MATLAB/Simulink to analyze the tracking performance of the quadcopter model at various reference inputs and trajectories.

The current work envisages synthesis of an ester prodrug of flurbiprofen whereby its carboxylic group was condensed with a skeletal muscle relaxant methocarbamol, with the aim of synergistic activity of two drugs, avoid flurbiprofen mediated gastro-intestinal damage and minimize the ulceration tendency of flurbiprofen. The synthesized prodrug was characterized and confirmed by physicochemical and spectroscopic studies. Solubility and partition coefficient studies indicated an increased lipophilicity and thus better suitability for oral administration than the parent drugs and the protein binding studies revealed a low protein binding capacity of the mutual prodrug. Subsequently, in-vitro hydrolysis was studied in different pH, simulated gastric fluid, simulated intestinal fluid and plasma and quantitative evaluation was performed by high performance liquid chromatography. It was found that the prodrug remained unhydrolyzed in the stomach after absorption however, underwent rapid cleavage by the esterases in blood to give the parent drug. Furthermore, the mutual ester prodrug was evaluated for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, skeletal muscle relaxation, ulcerogenic and total acid content activity and was found to possess comparable activity with that of the parent drugs. Microscopic structures of the stomach tissues revealed significant reduction in gastric ulcer formation of mice gastric mucosa as compared to parent carboxylic acid drug.

Deep Learning-Assisted OFDM Detection with Hardware Impairments

This paper introduces a deep learning(DL)algorithm for estimating doubly-selective fading channel and detecting signals in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)communication systems affected by hardware impairments(HIs).In practice,hardware imperfections are present at the transceivers,which are modeled as direct current(DC)offset,carrier frequency offset(CFO),and in-phase and quadrature-phase(IQ)imbalance at the transmitter and the receiver in OFDM *** HIs,the explicit system model could not be mathematically derived,which limits the performance of conventional least square(LS)or minimum mean square error(MMSE)***,we consider time-frequency response of a channel as a 2D image,and unknown values of the channel response are derived using known values at the pilot locations with DL-based image super-resolution,and image restoration ***,a deep neural network(DNN)is designed to fit the mapping between the received signal and transmit symbols,where the number of outputs equals to the size of the modulation *** show that there are no significant effects of HIs on channel estimation and signal detection in the proposed DL-assisted *** proposed DL-assisted detection improves the OFDM performance as compared to the conventional LS/MMSE under severe Hls.
