BACKGROUND The incidence of diabetes mellitus type 1(DM1)has been rising worldwide because of improvements in diagnostic techniques and improved access to care in countries with lower socioeconomic status.A new anti-CD4 antibody,Teplizumab,has been shown to delay the progression of DM1 and is the only medication approved for this ***,more information is needed about the safety profile of this *** To identify the odds ratios(OR)of systems-based adverse effects for Teplizumab when compared to *** An extensive systematic review was conducted from the inception of the medication until December 31,*** clinical trials and studies that evaluated Teplizumab vs placebo were included in the initial *** study protocol was designed using Preferred Reporting Items for systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines guidelines and was registered in PROsPERO(ID:CRD42024496169).Crude OR were generated using RevMan software version *** After screening and review,5 studies were selected to determine the risk of adverse effects of teplizumab compared to placebo.A total of 561 patients were included in the study *** adverse effects and system-based adverse effects were studied and *** determined that patients receiving Teplizumab had a higher risk of developing gastrointestinal(GI)(OR=1.60,95%CI:1.01-2.52,P=0.04),dermatological(OR=6.33,95%CI:4.05-9.88,Pse effects(OR=19.03,95%CI:11.09-32.66,Pse patients were also significantly likely to have active Epstein-Barr Virus infection(OR=3.16,95%CI:1.51-6.64,Pshowed that patients receiving Teplizumab did have a higher incidence of total adverse effects vs placebo,this finding did not reach statistical significance(OR=2.25,95%CI:0.80-6.29,P=0.12).CONCLUsION Our systematic review suggests that Teplizumab patients are at risk for significant adverse effects,primarily related to GI,dermatological,and hematolog

One of the potential risks associated with subsurface storage of CO_2 is the seepage of CO_2 through existing faults and fractures. There have been a number of studies devoted to this topic. some of these studies show that geochemistry, especially mineralization, plays an important role in rendering the faults as conduits for CO_2 movement while others show that mineralization due to CO_2 injection can result in seep migration and flow diversion. Therefore, understanding the changes in reservoir properties due to pore alterations is important to ensure safe long term CO_2 storage in the subsurface. We study the changes in the Representative Elementary Volume（REV） of a rock due to reactive kinetics over a time, using a statistical approach and pore-scale CO_2-rock *** goal of this study is to obtain the REV of a rock property that accounts for pore-scale changes over time due to reactive kinetics, and we call this as spatiotemporal REV. scale-up results suggest that the REV changes with time when CO_2-rock interaction is considered. It is hypothesized that the alteration in pore structure introduces more heterogeneity in the rock, and because of this the magnitude of REV increases. It is possible that these noticeable changes in REV at pore-scale may have an impact when analyzed at the reservoir scale.

In this study, aluminum oxide （Al2O3） nanoparticles （NPs） were synthesized via an electrochemical method. The effects of reac- tion parameters such as supporting electrolytes, solvent, current and electrolysis time on the shape and size of the resulting NPs were investi- gated. The Al2O3 NPs were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis/differential thermal analysis, energy-dispersive X-ray analysis, and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. Moreover, the Al2O3 NPs were explored for photocatalytic degradation of malachite green （MG） dye under sunlight irradiation via two processes： ad- sorption followed by photocatalysis; coupled adsorption and photocatalysis. The coupled process exhibited a higher photodegradation effi- ciency （45%） compared to adsorption followed by photocatalysis （32%）. The obtained kinetic data was well fitted using a pseudo-first-order model for MG degradation.

surface coatings have been extensively used to control the degradation rate of Mg alloys for bioimplant ***,these coatings only act as passive *** corrosive media,structural damage impairs their barrier properties,resulting in rapid degradation of Mg *** present study incorporates phytic acid(PA)as a healing agent in polycaprolactone(PCL)microcapsules with a unique honeycomb core matrix to obtain a self-healing PA-PCLcaps *** contact between simulated body fluid(sBF)and PA-PCLcaps coated ZM21 exhibited Cassie-Baxter interfacial states,resulting in significant hydrophobicity with a contact angle(CA)of *** corrosion potential(Ecorr)and current density(Icorr)were found to be-0.28 V and 1.1×10^(-9)A/cm^(2),respectively,for PA-PCLcaps coating,resulting in biosafe corrosion rate of 2.5×10^(-4)mm/*** mechanical scratching,rapid HA mineralization at scratched regions recovered the hydrogen evolution rate(HER,0.36 mL/cm^(2)/day)and pH change(pH 7.10)of scratched PA-PCLcaps coated ZM21 samples to corresponding unscratched samples within one day of *** coating’s self-healing ability could be attributed to PA released from punctured microcapsules,which facilitates HA *** pH-triggered(pH 10)and Mg(II)-triggered(5 mM)conditions enhanced PA release from PA-PCLcaps coating by 2.5 and 3.1 times,*** a result,dense HA mineralization occurred,which protects the coating from structural defects and ensures its durability in stimulating *** findings of present study provide new insight for design of multiple stimuli-feedback based self-healing coatings on biodegradable Mg alloys.

Lepidium sativum（commonly known as garden cress） belongs to the family Brassicaceae. It is a fastgrowing erect, annual herbaceous plant. Its seeds possess significant fracture healing, anti-asthmatic, anti-diabetic,hypoglycemic, nephrocurative and nephroprotective activities. In the present study, we assessed the genetic diversity of various genotypes of L. sativum using inter-simple sequence repeat（IssR） markers. Out of 41 IssR primers screened, 32 primers showed significant, clear and reproducible bands. A total of 510 amplified bands were obtained using 32 IssR primers, out of which 422 bands were polymorphic and 88 bands were monomorphic. The percentage of polymorphism was found to be 82. A total of 35 unique alleles ranging insize from 200 to 2,900 bp were *** analysis based on unweighted pair-group method,arithmetic mean divided the 18 genotypes into two main clusters, with the first having only HCs-08 genotype of *** and other having all of the other 17 genotypes. The Jaccard similarity coefficient revealed a broad range32–72 % genetic relatedness among the 18 genotypes.

This paper is concerned with the practical application control of a pneumatically actuated stewart-Gough platform with 6-degrees of freedom （6-DOF）. The control approach for motion control of the platform is presented using a modern control technique, namely, linear quadratic Gaussinn （LQG） with reference tracking. The LQG controller is the combination of a Kalman filter, i.e., a linear-quadratic estimator （LQE） with a linear-quadratic regulator （LQR）. The robustness of the control scheme is accessed under various load conditions, and the experimental results are shown.
