Efficient Finite Difference WENO scheme for Hyperbolic systems withNon-conservativeProducts

Higher order finite difference weighted essentially non-oscillatory(WENO)schemes have been constructed for conservation *** multidimensional problems,they offer a high order accuracy at a fraction of the cost of a finite volume WENO or DG scheme of the comparable *** makes them quite attractive for several science and engineering ***,to the best of our knowledge,such schemes have not been extended to non-linear hyperbolic systems with non-conservative *** this paper,we perform such an extension which improves the domain of the applicability of such *** extension is carried out by writing the scheme in fluctuation *** use the HLLI Riemann solver of Dumbser and Balsara(***.304:275-319,2016)as a building block for carrying out this *** of the use of an HLL building block,the resulting scheme has a proper supersonic *** use of anti-diffusive fluxes ensures that stationary discontinuities can be preserved by the scheme,thus expanding its domain of the *** new finite difference WENO formulation uses the same WENO reconstruction that was used in classical versions,making it very easy for users to transition over to the present *** conservation laws,the new finite difference WENO is shown to perform as well as the classical version of finite difference WENO,with two major advantages:(i)It can capture jumps in stationary linearly degenerate wave families exactly.(i)It only requires the reconstruction to be applied *** examples from hyperbolic PDE systems with non-conservative products are shown which indicate that the scheme works and achieves its design order of the accuracy for smooth multidimensional *** Riemann problems and several novel multidimensional problems that are drawn from compressible Baer-Nunziato multiphase flow,multiphase debris flow and twolayer shallow water equations are also shown to document the robustness of the *** some

Background:Radiological imaging plays a pivotal role in forensic *** have the imaging techniques advances,so have the digital skeletal measurements inched towards *** trends of the population keep on changing in modem ***,finding the precise technique of bone measurement,with greater reproducibility,in modem population is always needed in making population specific biological *** and Objective:The aim of this study was to estimate the accuracy of the foramen magnum measurement,obtained by three dimensional multi-detector computed tomography using volume rendering technique with the cut off value of each variable,in sex determination of an *** and Methods:Two metric traits,an antero-posterior diameter(APD)and transverse diameter(TD),were measured digitally in an analysis of 130 radiological images having equal proportion of male and female *** magnum index and area of foramen magnum(Area by Radinsky's[AR],Area by Teixeira5s[AT])were derived from APD and ***:Descriptive statistical analysis,using unpaired t-test,showed significant higher value in males in all the *** Pearson correlation analysis,maximum correlation was observed between area(AT and AR r=0.999)and between area and TD(AR r=0.955 and AT r=0.945 respectively).When used individually,TD had the highest predictive value(67.7%)for sex detennination among all the parameters followed by AT(65.4%)and AR(64.6%).Cutoff value of variables TD,AR and AT were 29.9 mm,841.80 mm2 and 849.70 mm2 *** operating characteristic curve predicted male and female sex with 96.2%and 89.2%accuracy *** overall accuracy of the model was 92.7%.Conclusion:Measurements from 3D CT using volume rendering technique were precise,and the application of logistic regression analysis predicted the sex with more accuracy.

Deep Learning-Based speech Emotion Recognition: Leveraging Diverse Datasets and Augmentation Techniques for Robust Modeling

In recent years， speech Emotion Recognition (sER) has developed into an essential instrument for interpreting human emotions from auditory data. The proposed research focused on the development of a sER system employing deep learning and multiple datasets containing samples of emotive speech. The primary objective of this research endeavor is to investigate the utilization of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) in the process of sound feature extraction. stretching， pitch manipulation， and noise injection are a few of the techniques utilized in this study to improve the data quality. The investigation includes coverage of these methods. Feature extraction methods including Zero Crossing Rate， Chroma＿stft， MFCC， RMs， and Melspectogram are used to train a model. By using these techniques， audio signals can be transformed into recognized features that can be utilized to train the model. Ultimately， the study will produce a thorough evaluation of the model’s performance. When this method was applied， the model achieved an impressive accuracy of 94.57% on the test dataset. Proposed work also validated on EMO-BD and IEMOCAP dataset. These consist of further data augmentation， feature engineering， and hyperparameter optimization. By following these development paths， sER systems will be able to be implemented in real-world scenarios with greater accuracy and resilience.

Tuning of Optical Properties via Annealing of Bismuth Ferrite (BiFeO3) Thin Films

In this study we are reporting annealing induced optical properties of bismuth ferrite (BiFeO3) thin films deposited on glass substrate via spin coating at 5000 rpm. The structural, optical and surface morphology of BiFeO3 (BFO) thin films have been studied via X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), Optical absorption (UV-Vis) and Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. XRD spectra confirm annealing induced phase formation of BiFeO3 possessing a rhombohedral R3c structure. The films are dense and without cracks, although the presence of porosity in BFO/glass was observed. Moreover, optical absorption spectra indicate annealing induced effect on the energy band structure in comparison to pristine BiFeO3. It is observed that annealing effect shows an intense shift in the UV-Vis spectra as diffuse absorption together with the variation in the optical band gap. The evaluated optical band gap values are approximately equal to the bulk band gap value of BiFeO3.

The security of digital images transmitted via the Internet or other public media is of the utmost *** encryption is a method of keeping an image secure while it travels across a non-secure communication medium where it could be intercepted by unauthorized *** study provides an approach to color image encryption that could find practical use in various *** proposed method,which combines four chaotic systems,employs singular value decomposition and a chaotic sequence,making it both secure and *** unified average change intensity,the number of pixels’change rate,information entropy analysis,correlation coefficient analysis,compression friendliness,and security against brute force,statistical analysis and differential attacks are all used to evaluate the algorithm’s *** a thorough investigation of the experimental data,it is concluded that the proposed image encryption approach is secure against a wide range of attacks and provides superior compression friendliness when compared to chaos-based alternatives.

In Computer-Aided Detection(CAD)brain disease classification is a vital ***’s Disease(AD)and brain tumors are the primary reasons of *** studies of these diseases are carried out by Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI),Positron Emission Tomography(PET),and Computed Tomography(CT)scans which require expertise to understand the *** disease is the most prevalent in the elderly and can be fatal in its later *** result can be determined by calculating the mini-mental state exam score,following which the MRI scan of the brain is *** from that,various classification algorithms,such as machine learning and deep learning,are useful for diagnosing MRI ***,they do have some limitations in terms of *** paper proposes some insightful pre-processing methods that significantly improve the classification performance of these MRI ***,it reduced the time it took to train the model of various pre-existing learning algorithms.A dataset was obtained from Alzheimer’s Disease Neurological Initiative(ADNI)and converted from a 4D format to a 2D *** clipping,grayscale image conversion,and histogram equalization techniques were used to pre-process the *** pre-processing,we proposed three learning algorithms for AD classification,that is random forest,XGBoost,and Convolution Neural Networks(CNN).Results are computed on dataset and show that it outperformed with exiting work in terms of accuracy is 97.57%and sensitivity is 97.60%.
