Cell membrane-derived nanoparticles(NPs)have recently gained popularity due to their desirable features in drug delivery such as mimicking properties of native cells,impeding systemic clearance,and altering foreign body *** NP technology,adoptive immunotherapy has emerged due to its promise in cancer specificity and therapeutic *** this research,we developed a biomimetic drug carrier based on chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)transduced T-cell *** that purpose,anti-HER2 CAR-T cells were engineered via lentiviral transduction of anti-HER2 CAR coding lentiviral ***-HER2 CAR-T cells were characterized by their specific activities against the HER2 antigen and used for cell membrane ***-cancer drug Cisplatin-loaded poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)NPs were coated with anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-specific CAR engineered T-cell ***-HER2 CAR-T-cell membrane-coated PLGA NPs(CAR-T-MNPs)were characterized and confirmed via fluorescent microscopy and flow ***-coated NPs showed a sustained drug release over the course of 21 days in physiological ***-loaded CAR-T-MNPs also inhibited the growth of multiple HER2+cancer cells in *** addition,in vitro uptake studies revealed that CAR-T-MNPs showed an increased uptake by A549 *** results were also confirmed via in vivo biodistribution and therapeutic studies using a subcutaneous lung cancer model in nude ***-T-MNPs localized preferentially at tumor areas compared to those of other studied groups and consisted of a significant reduction in tumor growth in tumor-bearing *** Conclusion,the new CAR modified cell membrane-coated NP drug-delivery platform has demonstrated its efficacy both in vitro and in ***,CAR engineered membrane-coated NP system could be a promising cell-mimicking drug carrier that could improve therapeutic outcomes of lung cancer treatments.

Comparison of wear behavior of ABS and Nylon6-Fe powder composite parts prepared with fused deposition modelling

Fused deposition modeling(FDM) is one of the latest rapid prototyping techniques in which parts can be manufactured at a fast pace and are manufactured with a high accuracy. This research work is carried out to study the friction and wear behavior of parts made of newly developed Nylon6-Fe composite material by FDM. This work also involves the comparison of the friction and wear characteristics of the Nylon6-Fe composite with the existing acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS) filament of the FDM machine. This Is carried out on the pin on disk setup by varying the load(5, 10, 15 and 20 N) and speed(200 and 300 r/min). It is concluded that the newly developed composite is highly wear resistant and can be used in industrial applications where wear resistance is of paramount importance. Morphology of the surface in contact with the Nylon6-Fe composite and ABS is also carried out.

Thermodynamic Performance and Flammability Studies of Hydrocarbon Based Low Global Warming Potential Refrigerant Mixtures

This paper presents a theoretical method to calculate the minimum inerting concentration(MIC)of binary and ternary blends(refrigerants)that are used in small refrigeration *** is the concentration of the dilutant which makes the flammable mixture into just non-flammable(at non-zero quenching potential).In this study,the refrigerant safety parameters such as flammability,Global Warming Potential(GWP)and performance(COP)are analyzed for twelve binary and thirteen ternary blends containing one flammable and two nonflammable(dilutant)*** investigation was carried out with the hydrocarbon refrigerants R290,R600,R600a each mixed with dilutants R227ea,R125,R245fa,R13I1 and R134a at different concentrations *** methods,thermal balance method(TBM)and modified thermal balanced method(MTBM),are used to estimate the MIC(which decides the flammable zone).Thirteen ternary blends were identified based on the MIC values estimated using *** the case of ternary blends,it was observed that the non-flammable zone is high for the compositions of the Mixture G,Mixture H and Mixture *** was also estimated that the COPs of the proposed mixtures M22,M24,M25 and M27 are 4%greater than the COP of R134a(for the same operating conditions).Further,it was also understood that the corresponding GWP value is reduced by 90%to 97%for the mixtures(M21,M22,M24,M25 and M27)when compared to R134a(GWP=1300).Therefore,out of the thirteen proposed ternary mixtures(M15 to M27),the mixtures(M21,M22,M24,M25 and M27)are safe in terms of flammability,GWP and possess reasonable COP which can be a potential alternative refrigerant mixture to R134a in small refrigeration systems.

This study presented a multi-objective linear fractional inventory (LFI) problem with generalised intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. In modelling, the authors have assumed the ambiances where generalised trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (GTIFNs) used to handle the uncertain information in the data. Then, the given multi-objective generalised intuitionistic fuzzy LFI model was transformed into its equivalent deterministic linear fractional programming problem by employing the possibility and necessity measures. Finally, the applicability of the model is demonstrated with a numerical example and the sensitivity analysis under several parameters is investigated to explore the study.

Transition zone or ecotone is a unique community sandwiched between two communities/ecosystems/*** ecotones in Himalaya remained unexplored for many ecological aspects like biodiversity,phyto-sociology,boundary detection and even impact of change in land use pattern(anthropogenic activity).The most accepted and widespread technique called as Moving Split Window(MSW) technique is used for detection of vegetation and environmental boundaries at four different sites in the lesser stratum of north-west *** the four sites were at different distances from the nearest human inhabited *** activities like grazing,herb collection,wood collection *** common at proximal *** activities have led to the change in land use *** this study,we have tried to work out the impact of the change in land use pattern(human interference) on the vegetation and basic environmental parameters like soil pH,electrical conductivity and moisture on forestgrassland ecotone in north-west *** on mountain steepness was also collected and *** dissimilarity profile using the statistical tool Squared Euclidian Distance(SED) indicated that species turnover locations increase with the increase in distance of ecotones from human *** ecotones at distant locations from human villages are characterized with blunt as well as sharp peaks for vegetation data,however,conditions are reverse in case of the proximal *** study also reveals that as the distance between the ecotone and human settlements increases,the complex conditions like multiple vegetation boundaries prevails on the *** this regard,land use induced blurring of forest-grassland transition in north-west Himalaya is summed up in the study.

In this article, we have pointed out that some propositions corresponding to the distance measure between the type-2 fuzzy sets （T2FSs） as provided by Singh （Frontiers of Computer Science, 2014, 8（5）, 741-752）, are incorrect by a counterexample. Further, these propositions have been corrected in the present manuscript by giving a correct relation between the T2FSs and validating it with a numerical example.

The numerical simulation of non conservative system is a difficult challenge for two reasons at *** first one is that it is not possible to derive jump relations directly from conservation principles,so that in general,if the model description is non ambiguous for smooth solutions,this is no longer the case for discontinuous *** the numerical view point,this leads to the following situation:if a scheme is stable,its limit for mesh convergence will depend on its dissipative *** is well known since at least[1].In this paper we are interested in the“dual”problem:given a system in non conservative form and consistent jump relations,how can we construct a numerical scheme that will,for mesh convergence,provide limit solutions that are the exact solution of the *** order to investigate this problem,we consider a multiphase flow model for which jump relations are *** scheme is an hybridation of Glimm scheme and Roe scheme.
