Faults’recognition in the distribution feeders(DFs)is extremely important for improving the reliability of the distribution ***,this paper proposes a technique to identify the faults on the DF using the Stockwell Transform(ST)dependent variance feature and Hilbert transform(HT)by utilizing current *** element to element multiplication of the H-index,we compute using HT aided decompositions of current waveforms and VS-index,and calculate through ST aided decomposition of current *** utilizing the decision rules,various faults are *** faults studied in this work are line to ground,double line,double line to ground and 3-Φto *** high fault impedance,this technique is effectively ***,variations in the fault incidence angles are also utilized to test the performance of the proposed *** perform the proposed algorithm,a IEEE-13 bus system is developed in MATLAB/Simulink *** algorithm effectively classified the faults with accuracy greater than 98%.The algorithm is also successfully validated on the IEEE-34 bus test ***,the algorithm was successfully validated on the practical power system *** is recognized that the developed method performed better than the discrete Wavelet transform(DWT)and ruled decision tree based protection scheme reported in various literature.

Objective:Although immunity to malaria is reduced in pregnancy,the maternal immune system still continues to respond to malaria infection by the production of *** has been reported to play significant role in immune response against ***-MSP-1_(19) antibody and reactive oxygen species have been shown to be protective against malaria infection in *** work assessed the response of anti-MSP-1_(19) antibody(a promising blood stage vaccine candidate antigen) and oxidative stress in 250 pregnant ***: Blood samples were collected in dry and wet *** falciparum infection was determined by microscopy, anti-MSP-1_(19) IgG level was investigated using ***(MDA) and reduced glutathione (GSH) were used as indicators of oxidative stress and they were quantified ***: Parasitaemia was significantly higher(P<0.05) in wet than dry season and its level decreased with *** was a significant increase(P<0.05) in anti-MSP-1_(19) IgG and MDA levels in the dry than wet ***-MSP-1_(19) IgG and MDA levels were significantly higher in *** positive primigravidae than *** negative primigravidae in both wet and dry *** wet season anti-MSP-1_(19) IgG level was significantly increased(P<0.05) in *** positive multigravidae than *** negative. The anti-MSP-1_(19) IgG and MDA were significant higher in *** positive multigravidae than primigravidae. Reduced glutathione(GSH) level was significantly reduced(P<0.05) among malaria positive than malaria negative patients in both ***:This study suggests that IgG and MDA response were positively associated with the presence of malaria infection.

This work examines the physiologic basis of stress tolerance in bacterial strains of the genus Rhodanobacter that dominate in the acidic and highly metal contaminated near-source subsurface zone of the Oak Ridge Integrated Field Research Challenge(ORIFRC)*** of *** to levels of different stresses were studied in synthetic groundwater medium and R2A *** strains of ***,strains 2APBS1T and 116-2,tolerate low to circumneutral pH(4–8),high Uranium(1 mmol/L),elevated levels of nitrate(400 mmol/L)and high NaCl(2.5%).A combination of physiologic traits,such as growth at low pH,increased growth in the presence of high organics concentration,and tolerance of high concentrations of nitrate,NaCl and heavy metals is likely responsible for dominance of Rhodanobacter at the ORIFRC ***,extended incubation times and use of low carbon media,better approximating site groundwater conditions,are critical for accurate determination of stress *** study expands knowledge of the ecophysiology of bacteria from the genus Rhodanobacter and identifies methodological approaches necessary for acquiring accurate tolerance data.

This paper attempts to analyze the kinetics involved in the drying of green peas in‘with blanching’and‘without blanching’*** by hot water mixed with a solution of citric acid(0.1–0.2 mg/ml)at 70C–100C is the treatment provided to the samples of green *** analysis shows that the moisture content in green peas of three different sizes is reduced at different temperatures and demonstrates the effect of the rate of drying of the moisture *** different diameters and temperatures,the parameters are analyzed using‘with blanching’and‘without blanching’*** is observed that‘with blanching’process plays a significant role in the reduction of moisture content under different temperatures and diameters in a lesser time as compared to‘without blanching’.The operative activation energy and moisture diffusivity are described by using Fick’s law of *** calculation of effective moisture diffusivity can be done via the utilization of *** drying data is subjected to two models of mathematical nature:Simple Exponential model,and Page *** performance of these models is examined by means of comparing the coefficient of determination(R2),chi-square(v2)and root mean square error(RMSE)between the experimental and forecasted value of moisture ratio obtained‘with blanching’and‘without blanching’.The experimental data was seen to be in accordance with the Page *** comparisons of energy consumption,energy efficiency and also the cost of the drying processes for‘with blanching’and‘without blanching’have been accomplished to optimize and reduce process condition and the cost of the process,respectively.

AIM:To compare the safety and efficacy of conventional versus accelerated(9 mW/cm^2)corneal collagen crosslinking(CXL)in progressive keratoconus at the 2-year ***:In this prospective study,consecutive progressive keratoconus patients were randomized to receive either conventional CXL(CCXL)or accelerated CXL(ACXL;using hydroxypropyl methylcellulose-assisted riboflavin imbibition for 10 min at 9 mW/cm^2).Visual,refractive,keratometric,topographic,and aberrometric outcomes and stromal demarcation line depth(DLD)measurements were compared at the end of a 2-year ***:Thirty-two eyes from 32 patients in the CCXL and 27 eyes from 27 patients in the ACXL groups completed 2-year *** 2y post-CXL,both uncorrected and corrected visual acuities improved significantly in both *** improvements in keratometric readings,flattening rate(flattening of the maximum keratometry more than 1 D),3 topographic indices,and vertical coma were significantly better in the CCXL group compared to the ACXL group(Pomography or in vivo confocal microscopy was better detectable and significantly deeper in the CCXL group compared to the ACXL *** deeper DLD was found to be significantly correlated with improvements in the mean keratometry *** was noted in 11.1%of eyes in the ACXL group,whereas progression was not observed in any patient eye in the CCXL ***:In this prospective randomized study,ACXL is less effective in halting the progression of keratoconus at a 2-year follow-up compared to CCXL.

Camelina(Camelina sativa)has emerged as a potential biofuel crop globally with its suitability even as a jet fuel source with 75–80%less greenhouse gas emissions compared to common petroleum *** crop has originated from Mediterranean region and belongs to Brassicaceae ***,DRDO has made initial and pioneer efforts in successful introduction of this crop to India and its agro-technology *** a short duration crop with lesser input requirement,it fits well in the cropping pattern of hilly states of Indian *** areas experience fallow land due to shortage of irrigation water for growing other *** present study revealed that irrigation at flowering stage is more *** at this stage(if only one irrigation is available)exhibited grain yield of 1.004 kg·m^(-2)which was 21 and 80%higher over pod setting and rosette stage irrigation,*** maximum seed yield was observed under treatment where irrigation was provided at all three crop growth stages(2.044 kg·m^(-2)).It was 50%higher over T6 treatment(where two irrigations were given at rosette and flowering stage)and 104%higher over T3(where only one irrigation was given at flowering stage).

Driven by market requirements, software services organizations have adopted various software engineering process models （such as capability maturity model （CMM）, capability maturity model integration （CMMI）, ISO 9001：2000, etc.） and practice of the project management concepts defined in the project management body of knowledge. While this has definitely helped organizations to bring some methods into the software development madness, there always exists a demand for comparing various groups within the organization in terms of the practice of these defined process models. Even though there exist many metrics for comparison, considering the variety of projects in terms of technology, life cycle, etc., finding a single metric that caters to this is a difficult task. This paper proposes a model for arriving at a rating on group maturity within the organization. Considering the linguistic or imprecise and uncertain nature of software measurements, fuzzy logic approach is used for the proposed model. Without the barriers like technology or life cycle difference, the proposed model helps the organization to compare different groups within it with reasonable precision.
