As one of the most important and essential macronutrients next to nitrogen,phosphorus(P)is important for plant development,but it is the least mobile nutrient element in plant and ***,P is mined from geological sediments and added to agricultural soils so as to meet the critical requirements of crop plants for agronomic *** exists in soil in both organic and inorganic *** various inorganic forms of the element in soil are salts with calcium,iron,and aluminum,whereas the organic forms come from decaying vegetation and microbial *** is a huge diversity of plant microbiomes(epiphytic,endophytic,and rhizospheric)and soil microbiomes that have the capability to solubilize the insoluble P and make it available to *** main mechanism for the solubilization of inorganic P is by the production of organic acids,which lowers soil pH,or by the production of acid and alkaline phosphatases,which causes the mineralization of organic *** P-solubilizing and-mobilizing microorganisms belong to all three domains,comprising archaea,bacteria,and *** strains belonging to the genera Arthrobacter,Bacillus,Burkholderia,Natrinema,Pseudomonas,Rhizobium,and Serratia have been reported as efficient and potential P *** use of P solubilizers,alone or in combination with other plant growth-promoting microbes as an eco-friendly microbial consortium,could increase the P uptake of crops,increasing their yields for agricultural and environmental sustainability.

Identification of Molecular Markers Linked to Leaf Rust Resistance Genes in Wheat and Their Detection in the Local Near-Isogenic Line

Sixty-five random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) primers were used for the detection of polymorphism among recipient and donor parents and their isogenic lines linked to leaf rust resistance genes, Lr9 and the resistant gene in kharchia local mutant KLM4-3B. Three primers showed polymorphism among recurrent parent, donor parent and isogenic lines.

Allelic Relationship between <i>Lr</i>9 and the Leaf Rust Resistance Gene in Kharchia Local Mutant of Wheat

To confirm allelic relationship between Lr9 and the leaf rust resistance gene in KLM4-3B, genetics of resistance was studied using crosses (WL711 + Lr9) × WL711 and (WL711 + LrKLM4-3B) × WL711. The F2 populations in cross (WL711 + Lr9) × WL711 and (WL711 + LrKLM4-3B) × WL711 segregated in ratio of 3:1 for disease reaction at seedling stage against pathotype 77-5 of leaf rust. This suggests that rust resistance in these stocks are under the control of single dominant genes. Further, to study allelic relationship betweenLr 9 and LrKLM4-3B, F2 population of the cross (WL711 + LrKLM4-3B) × (WL711 + Lr9) was studied. A segregation ratio of 15:1 implies that the two genes Lr9 and LrKLM4-3B are non-allelic genes.

Identification of AFLP Markers Linked to Leaf Rust Resistance Genes Using Near Isogenic Lines of Wheat

The present investigation was undertaken to find molecular markers linked to leaf rust resistance genes, Lr9 and Kharchia local mutant KLM4-3B. Preliminary AFLP analysis was carried out with different stocks, a survey of primer combinations with different selective nucleotide indicated that for each primer combination, the number of scorable loci ranged from 34 to 123. Only a limited primer combination used in the set of parental and near isogenic lines showed a high level of polymorphism for AFLP marker. Putative AFLP marker were found to be linked to Lr9, Lr19 and KLM4-3B. The alien genes were readily identified.

We present a method to model interatomic interactions such as energy and forces in a computationally efficient *** proposed model approximates the energy/forces using a linear combination of random features,thereby enabling fast parameter estimation by solving a linear least-squares *** discuss how random features based on stationary and non-stationary kernels can be used for energy approximation and provide results for three classes of materials,namely two-dimensional materials,metals and *** and energy predictions made using the proposed method are in close agreement with density functional theory calculations,with training time that is 96%lower than standard kernel *** Dynamics calculations using random features based interatomic potentials are shown to agree well with experimental and density functional theory *** frequencies as computed by random features based interatomic potentials are within 0.1%of the density functional theory ***,the proposed random features-based potential addresses scalability issues encountered in this class of machine learning problems.

Solubility of Piperine in Supercritical and Near Critical Carbon Dioxide

Piperine is a member of the lipids family commonly found in peppercorn, ginger and other natural sources and is grouped as an alkaloid. The solubility of piperine has been determined in carbon dioxide at near critical and supercritical conditions in a dynamic extraction apparatus. The conditions studied were at pressures ranging from 10 to 20 MPa and temperatures at 293, 300, 313, 323 and 333 K. The results showed that piperine solubility increased with increasing pressure at all temperatures studied. The solubility of plperme in near critical conditions was slightly higher than that at supercritical conditions only at the low-pressure range. Two semi-empirical density dependent correlations, namely the Chrastil model and the Dilute Solution model, were also used to estimate the solubility data. Although both models showed good correlation with the solubility data, the Dilute Solution model performed better prediction than the Chrastil model.

Healthcare institutions are vulnerable to disruptionfrom events such as earthquakes, fires, and floods, andthe damage incurred can endanger the lives of patientsin the hospital.[1] In this type of scenario hospital staffhave primary responsibility for the hospitalized patients＇safety, since patients are neither fit to respond to sucha disaster, nor do they know how to respond.[2,3] Thesituation becomes more difficult and challenging if thedisaster occurs in critical care areas such as intensivecare units （ICUs） and operating rooms.
