A model is established to analyze three-dimensional fluid flow and heat transfer in TICweld pools with full penetration.It considers the deformation of the molten pool surfaceat the condition of full penetrated workpieees,takes the are pressure as the drivingforce of the pool surface deformation,and determines the surface configuration of weldpool based on the dynamic balance of arc pressure,pool gravity and surface tension atdeformed weld pool surface. The SIMPLER algorithm is used to calculate the fluid flowfield and temperature distribution in TIG weld pools of stainless steel workpieces.TIGwelding experiments are made to verify the validity of the model.It shows the calculatedresults by the model are in good agreement with experimental measurements. professor,Dept of Welding Engineering,harbin institute of technology,harbin 150006,China

＜正＞A sufficient condition is given to determine if a configuration of accelerometers of non-gyro micro inertial measurement unit （NGMIMU） is feasible. NGMIMU uses only accelerometers to compute the motion of a moving body. If the condition is satisfied, the angular acceleration and the linear acceleration in three directions can be expressed by the linear combination of the angular velocity and the accelerometer output. And the posture of a moving body can be estimated using a numerical iteration algorithm. Two configurations of accelerometers are analyzed in detail and the results verify the correctness of the condition. This research serves as an important criterion for the research of other problems of NGMIMU.

Traditional design of 3-DOF parallel kinematic manipulator is a serial design, in which physical prototype based design and verification bring about restrictions to the development period and efficiency. In order to realize rapidly and efficiently from the conceptual design step to prototyping step, it’s proposed to combine VR with kinematics analysis, structure design and kinetic analysis to develop a visual design environment （VDE）. Based on visualization of kinematic solutions the analysis results can fully account for kinetmatic behavior of the real machine. Moreover, the verification based on kinetic mode makes sure the design reasonable and reliable. Compared with traditional design our developed routines are very effective. In this paper the implementation is described in detail.

Fiber placement is an important processing technology for fabricating complex composite structures which offer many advantages over traditional structural material.In this paper,a novel path planning algorithm for closed surface is proposed,which take midline and edge of tows as placement curves alternatively instead of achieving midlines and edges separately.The iterative method for placement curves is introduced under the constraint of curvature of tows.The planning of placement curves for the whole surface is achieved by offsetting curve feature points,which aims to produce uniform lay-up of composite lamina,with controllable gap and overlap between subsequent tows.The method to calculate the number of tow is also put forward no matter the maximum tow number is even or odd.Finally,the proposed algorithm is verified by simulation with CATIA Component Application Architecture （CAA）.

A new method for optimizing the parameters of CMOS analog circuits based on adaptive EGA（Elitist Genetic Algorithm） is proposed in this paper.In the method the Hspice simulation tool is called to evaluate the fitness of every circuit repeatedly in a generation.According to the results of the evaluation better circuits can be reserved.By adjusting the parameters of transistors through EGA the evolution can find the circuit which will satisfy our specifications.The outcome of the experiment for a two-stage operational amplifier shows that this is an accurate and promising way in determining the device sizes in an analog circuit.

A new target detection architecture,designated as cognitive detector,is proposed.This method aims at solving the problems arising from simultaneous detecting and tracking targets in various nonstationary and time-variant clutter environment.Image character of detection background and the scene analysis result,which is the information that hasn’t been exploited in any existing integrated detection and tracking system,can help adjust the detection algorithm adapting for the various background and add more information about the target/clutter for data association or tracking to enhance the system’s performance.Cognitive detector partitions the radar detection scene using the statistical and image character of the detection background.Then,multipolicy detection algorithm and detection oriented data association method operate based on the former output.At last,feedback structure between detection and tracking algorithm is used to optimize the detection policy.As describing the definition of cognitive detection and its operation processes,the paper focuses on the specific application of high frequency surface wave radar,for which the cognitive detector is rather well suitable.
