Atrial fibrillation(AF)is a major public health problem and poses a substantial economic burden on healthcare systems worldwide.[1-4]The emergency department(ED)serves as the first point of contact with the healthcare system and plays a key role in the management of patients with AF,which accounts for 3%-10%of all hospital admissions.[5]Treatment plans are often discussed and initiated at the ED.

Heat shock factor-DNA interaction is critical for understanding the regulatory mechanisms ofstress-induced gene expression in *** this study,we analyzed the in vivo binding of yeast heatshock factor(HSF)to the promoters of target genes ScSSA1,ScSSA4,HSP30 and HSP104,using *** work suggested that yeast HSF is constitutively bound to DNA at *** of HSF target genes is regulated at the post-transcriptional ***,ourresults indicated that HSF does not bind to the promoters of ScSSA4 and HSP30 at normal temperature(23 ℃).Binding to these promoters is rapidly induced by-.heat stress at 39℃.HSF binds to ScSSA1 andHSP104 promoters under non-stress conditions,but at a 10w *** stress rapidly leads to a notableincrease in the binding of HSF to these two *** kinetics of the level of HSF-promoter bindingcorrelate well with the expression of target genes,suggesting that the expression of HSF target genes is atleast partially the result of HSF-promoter binding stability and subsequent transcription stimulation.

We present a theoretically-exact and stable computed tomography （CT） reconstruction algorithm that is capable of handling interrupted illumination and therefore of using all measured data at arbitrary pitch This algorithm is based on a differentiated backprojection （DBP） on M-lines. First, we discuss the problem of interrupted illumination and how it affects the DBP. Then we show that it is possible to take advantage of some properties of the DBP to compensate for the effects of interrupted illumination in a mathematically exact way. From there, we have developed an efficient algorithm which we have successfully implemented. We show encouraging preliminary results using both computer-simulated data and real data. Our results show that our method is capable of achieving a substantial reduction of image noise when decreasing the helix pitch compared with the maximum pitch case. We conclude that the proposed algorithm defines for the first time a theoretically-exact and stable reconstruction method that is capable of beneficially using all measured data at arbitrary pitch.

Saving energy is crucial to the survival of animals living in the cold regions of the world. A small marmot-like rodent from the Arctic is world champion when it comes to energy saving. According to YAN Jun from the CAS-MPG Partner Institute for Computational Biology in Shanghai, this makes the Arctic ground squirrel extremely suitable for studying the changes that occur at the molecular level during rodent hibernation. Based on this, the scientist and his colleagues aim to discover exactly how the animals can attain such dramatic reductions in their metabolic activity.

Surgical treatment of superior labral anterior posterior(SLAP) lesion becomes more and more frequent which is the consequence of evolving progress in both,imaging and surgical technique as well as *** first classification of SLAP lesions was described in 1990, a subdivision in four types existed. The rising comprehension of pathology and pathophysiology in SLAP lesions contributed to increase the types in SLAP classification to ten. Concerning the causative mechanism of SLAP lesions, acute trauma has to be differed from chronic degeneration. Overhead athletes tend to develop a glenohumeral internal rotation deficit which forms the basis for two controversial discussed potential mechanisms of pathophysiology in SLAP lesions: Internal impingement and peel-back mechanism. Clinical examination often remains unspecific whereas soft tissue imaging such as direct or indirect magnetic resonance arthrography has technically improved and is regarded to be indispensable in detection of SLAP lesions. Concomitant pathologies as Bankart lesions, rotator cuff tears or perilabral cysts should be taken into consideration when planning a personalized therapeutic strategy. In addition, normal variants such as sublabral recess, sublabral hole, Buford complex and other less common variants have to be distinguished. The most frequent SLAP type Ⅱ needs a sophisticated approach when surgical teatment comes into consideration. While SLAP repair is considered to be the standard operative option, overhead athletes benefit from a biceps tenodesis because improved patient-reported satisfaction and higher rate of return to pre-injury level of sports has been reported.

While injuries of the upper extremity are widely discussed in rock climbers, reports about the lower extremity are rare. Nevertheless almost 50 percent of acute injuries involve the leg and feet. Acute injuries are either caused by ground falls or rock hit trauma during a fall. Most frequently strains, contusions and fractures of the calcaneus and talus. More rare injuries, as e.g., osteochondral lesions of the talus demand a highly specialized care and case presentations with combined iliac crest graft and matrix associated autologous chondrocyte transplantation are given in this review. The chronic use of tight climbing shoes leads to overstrain injuries also. As the tight fit of the shoes changes the biomechanics of the foot an increased stress load is applied to the fore-foot. Thus chronic conditions as subungual hematoma, callosity and pain resolve. Also a high incidence of hallux valgus and hallux rigidus is described.
