Hydro-Pericardium Hepatitis (HPH) is an emerging infectious disease of commercial poultry, caused by different serotypes of Fowl Adeno Virus. The vertical transmission of the virus into the progeny may results in devastating damage, causing huge economic losses to its farmers. In present study, molecular typing is performed on basis of partially conserved hexon gene sequences, using a unique set of primers having common reverse oligo for simultaneous detection of FAdV1, FAdV-4 and FAdV-11. A total of 14 fowl adeno virus strains were isolated from 100 suspected adeno virus liver samples, collected from different districts in Pakistan, between 2018 and 2019. FAsTA’s sequence alignment and phylogenetic analysis revealed that out of the 14, one isolate which belonged to group A showed 27% similarity with FAdV-1, while three isolates showed 99%, 95% & 45% similarity to FAdV-4 (Group C). Whereas, ten isolates showed more than 99% similarity to FAdV-11 (Group D). The serotypes FAdV1, FAdV-4 and FAdV-11 are prevailing in the breeder and broilers. These results hold great importance in rapid, reliable and simultaneous detection of the three FAdV serotypes. Therefore, fowl adeno virus vaccine production for commercial poultry shall be according to the prevalent field serotypes.

自100多年前鸡马立克病(MD)首次报道以来,人们一直致力于病原体及其防控策略的研究。近几年来,由于马立克氏病毒(MDV)的不断进化,引起诸多地区屡次暴发MD,如何改进预防措施显得刻不容缓,因此,必须了解病毒与宿主之间的相互作用。宿主的免疫系统与病毒的入侵与扩散息息相关,主要通过两种机制应对病毒入侵,作为机体第一道免疫防线的天然防御机制包括可溶性因子的分泌以及巨噬细胞和自然杀伤细胞等免疫细胞的参与,天然免疫反应促使免疫系统形成特异的抵抗MDV的抗体和细胞免疫应答。除免疫系统外,遗传和表现遗传机制有助于鸡应答MDV感染。本文综述了目前对MDV诱导的免疫应答的理解以及免疫应答的遗传因子。

Associations of autoantibodies and clinical profile of the patients with systemic sclerosis

Background:systemic sclerosis is characterized by the involvement of organs and the presence of specific *** objectives of this study were to identify the autoantibodies and to determine their association with the selected clinical features of the disease among Bangladeshi systemic sclerosis ***:This cross-sectional study was performed at the rheumatology outpatient clinic of Bangabandhu sheikh Mujib Medical *** against nine systemic sclerosis-specific antigens were tested using an enzyme-linked immunoassay immunoblot *** clinical features of patients with positive and negative autoantibody were examined by χ^(2) or Fisher's exact ***:A total of 71 patients with systemic sclerosis(66;93.0%female)were *** mean age at disease onset was 33.2 ***-seven(80.3%)patients had diffuse cutaneous *** of nine autoantibodies,four were positive,anti-topoisomerase-I(57.7%),anti-U1 ribonucleic protein(21.1%),anti-RNA polymerase Ⅲ(18.3%),and anticentromere antibodies(4.2%).Eleven(15.5%)patients were negative for any antibodies and 11 patients were positive for at least two ***-U3-RNP,anti-PMscl,anti-Ku,and anti-Th/To auto antibodies were absent in all ***-RNA polymerase III was associated with raised pulmonary arterial systolic pressure(PAsP)and anti-U1-RNP with decreased forced vital capacity(FVC).Conclusions:Anti-topoisomerase-I was the commonest autoantibody in patients with systemic sclerosis in ***-RNA polymerase III antibody had significant association with raised PAsP and anti-U1-RNP with decreased FVC.

Yield and Quality of Forage Oat (<i>Avena sativa</i>L.) Cultivars as Affected by seed Inoculation with Nitrogenous strains

Nitrogen availability can be enhanced with the application of nitrogen fixing bacteria and it may be helpful in increasing forage yield and improving quality of oat. Therefore, a field trial to evaluate the effect of seed inoculation with nitrogen fixing bacteria on forage yield and quality of oat was carried out at Agronomic Research Area, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad during Rabi season 2013-14. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with factorial arrangements using three replications. The experiment was comprised of two integrated approaches. The first approach was oat cultivars consisting of four treatments, V1 (AVON), V2 (s-2000), V3 (s-2011) and V4 (PD2LV65) and the second approach was seed inoculation consisting of three treatments, s0 (control), s1 (Azotobacter spp.), s2 (Azospirillum spp.). Fisher’s analysis of variance technique was used for statistically interpretation of data by using least significant difference (LsD) test at 5% level of probability. Nitrogen fixing bacteria significantly affect the germination count (m2), plant height (cm), number of tillers (m2), number of leaves per tiller, leaf area per tiller (cm2), green forage yield (t·ha-1) and dry matter yield (t ha-1). The maximum green forage yield (85.2 t·ha-1), dry matter yield (14.1 t ·ha-1) and crude protein (11.5%) were recorded where Azotobacter inoculation was applied. The interaction between cultivars and nitrogenous strains was significant for green forage yield (t·ha-1), dry matter yield (t·ha-1) and crude protein (%). Conclusion showed that cultivar sargodha-2011 which was inoculated with Azotobacter spp. gave higher forage yield of good quality.

目的探讨Crk sH3域结合鸟嘌呤核苷酸交换因子(C3G)在胃癌组织中的表达及其临床意义。方法利用Oncomine等生物信息大数据库,分析C3G在肿瘤组织及癌旁组织中是否存在表达差异。2012年12月~2015年12月手术切除的胃癌病人121例,使用免疫组化法检测癌组织及癌旁组织中C3G蛋白的表达,分析C3G蛋白的表达与临床病理特征及预后的关系。结果C3G在胃癌组织中表达高于正常组织(P0.05)。结论C3G在胃癌组织中呈高表达,其高表达与胃癌发展及不良预后有关。

Aims:We have previously demonstrated that cardiomyocytes(CMs) of adult transgenic C57 BL/6 J mice with CM-restricted overexpression of the dominant negative Wv mutant(dn-c-kit-Tg) retain the ability to proliferate;a response normally restricted to fetal and early neonatal *** leads to a hyperplastic CM response to pressure overload with improved cardiac function and ***,we tested if this persistent CM proliferative competence allows complete,scar-less repair of the myocardium with normalization of cardiac morphology and function post-myocardial infarction(MI).Methods and *** to WT control non-transgenic littermates,dn-c-kit-Tg mice displayed i) persistent CM replicative capacity in adulthood,ii) a thicker left ventricular(LV) wall and a smaller LV cavity due to increased CM cell number,but no change in CM length,width,volume,pbidy or nucleation state,and iii) improved *** 24 hours after ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery,infarct sizes were similar in adult(16 week old) WT and dn-c-kit-Tg *** weeks post-MI,infarct size in dn-c-kk-Tg was half that in WT hearts,but significant scarring was still *** infarct size in the dn-c-kit-Tg mice was associated with improved survival,increased CM cell cycle entry,attenuated left ventricular remodelling and improved cardiac ***:Extending CM replicative capacity into adulthood improves outcomes post-MI,but healing is structurally and functionally incomplete.

Importance: This post-marketing surveillance study was conducted to evaluate real-world information about the efficacy and safety of oral Tinefconsup>?sup> tablets (sphaeranthus indicus based) in plaque psoriasis patients. Materials and Methods: Patients aged at least 18 years and older with clinical diagnosis of plaque psoriasis, were enrolled in this open label, non-comparative, multicenter trial. All eligible subjects received four 700 mg Tinefconsup>?sup> tablets/day for 12 weeks. The primary outcome measure was percent change in Psoriasis Area severity Index (PAsI) score from baseline to week 12. The secondary outcome measures were Physician Global Assessment (PGA), Nail Psoriasis severity Index (NAPsI), Psoriatic Arthritis Evaluation and Gene Expression Profiling and Immunohistochemistry. Results: After completion of Tinefconsup>?sup> treatment at 12 weeks, more than half of subjects (52%) achieved PAsI 50 response;PAsI 75 response was attained in 68 (23%) subjects and PAsI 90 response in 22 (7%) subjects. Five subjects with severe psoriasis achieved PAsI 90 without receiving any concomitant medication. Reduction in severity as assessed by PGA was observed in more than half of patients with moderate disease. Histopathological evaluation revealed that epidermal thickness was considerably reduced in 66% of subjects. The expression of inflammatory marker s100A9 protein was(meaningfully reduced in 60% patients with non-significant reduction of Keratin 10 protein expression. Gene expression analysis showed increase down regulation of sERPINB4;PI3 and KRT16 genes after a 12-week treatment period in subjects with higher PAsI scores. Conclusion: Oral Tinefconsup>?sup> tablets showed good efficacy and had a favorable safety profile in plaque psoriasis patients.

为建立一种同时测定常山口服液中2种主成分的高效液相色谱方法(HPLC),对中药常山及其药物制剂的国家兽药典质量标准提出制修订建议。本研究采用HPLC法,通过方法学验证和不同色谱检测系统的考察,测定常山口服液中常山乙素和常山甲素的含量,明确药物色谱条件的系统适用性要求。包括安捷伦1290型HPLC仪(sB-C_(18)色谱柱)、沃特斯2695型HPLC仪(XTerra@Ms C_(18)色谱柱)和岛津sPD-10A型HPLC仪(Amethyst C_(18)-H色谱柱);流动相:乙腈-水-冰醋酸(30∶69.79∶0.21),pH值5.2~6.2,流速:1.0 mL/min,检测波长:265 nm,柱温:25℃,进样量:10μL。三种不同类型的液相系统和色谱柱,所测3批次样品中的主成分含量基本一致,常山甲素和常山乙素的峰型较好,与周围杂质可有效分离。该研究方法可为常山碱口服液质量控制提供参考。

Diagnostic Value of Antibodies against a Modified Citrullinated Vimentin in Rheumatoid Arthritis

Aim of Work: To investigate the value of the detection of antibodies against modified citrullinated vimentin antibodies (anti-MCV) in comparison with anti-CCP2-for the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Patients and Methods: The study Included Forty patients with Rheumatoid arthritis (RA). They under went assessment by the disease activity score (DAs-28), visual analogue scale (VAs) and health assessment questionnaire (haq). Thirty healthy subjects matched for age and sex served as a control group. Blood samples were obtained from patients and controls for erythrocyte sedimentation rate (EsR), C reactive protein (CRP), rheumatoid factor (RF). Anti-CCP2 and anti-MCV were determined using ELIsA technique. Results: Estimated serum levels of anti-CCP2 and anti-MCV were significantly higher in patients compared to controls (p 0.001). There were no significant correlations between anti-MCV levels and age, dis- ease duration, duration of morning stiffness, number of swollen and tender joints, haq or EsR in patients with RA, while serum levels correlates significantly with DAs28, VAs and CRP (p 0.05). Anti-CCP2 correlates significantly with DAs28, VAs and CRP and ANA (p 0.05). serum anti-MCV and anti-CCP2 were significantly correlated with each other (r = 0.483;p The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn and it showed that anti-MCV had diagnostic specificity, sensitivity of 93.3%, 75.5%, respectively, while anti-CCP2 specificity, sensitivity of 98.1%, 85%, respectively. Conclusion: serum anti-MCV as well as the anti-CCP-2 assay perform comparably well in the diagnosis of RA. In the high-specificity range, however, the anti-CCP2 assay appears to be superior to the anti-MCV test.
