In this paper, a novel multi-objective optimization model of integrated energy systems(IESs) is proposed based on the ladder-type carbon emission trading mechanism and refined load demand response strategies. First, the carbon emission trading mechanism is introduced into the optimal scheduling of IESs, and a ladder-type carbon emission cost calculation model based on rewards and penalties is established to strictly control the carbon emissions of the system. Then, according to different response characteristics of electric load and heating load, a refined load demand response model is built based on the price elasticity matrix and substitutability of energy supply mode. On these basis, a multi-objective optimization model of IESs is established, which aims to minimize the total operating cost and the renewable energy source(RES) curtailment. Finally, based on typical case studies, the simulation results show that the proposed model can effectively improve the economic benefits of IESs and the utilization efficiency of RESs.

In studies on gas hydrate,bottom-simulating reflectors(BSR)are used to determine the potential hydrate-bearing sedimentary layers.Usually,BSR detection is performed manually by experienced interpreters.Therefore,a method for implementing an auto-matic BSR detection process should be established.In this study,we develop a novel architecture for BSR characterization using the convolutional neural network(CNN)technique.We propose the use of Stokes’transform(ST)to obtain a time-frequency spectrum for the input of CNN.ST fully uses the frequency content of the seismic data,and a part of the 3D seismic data collected from the Blake Ridge is utilized to train the CNN.Synthetic seismic records with variable signal-to-noise ratios(SNR),as well as Blake Ridge seismic data,were used to validate the detection effect of the CNN.Results show that the CNN trained by this method exhibits excellent performance in noise-resistant testing and achieves an accuracy of more than 89% in field seismic data detection.

This paper addresses the issue of safety in reinforcement learning(RL)with disturbances and its application in the safety-constrained motion control of autonomous robots.To tackle this problem,a robust Lyapunov value function(rLVF)is proposed.The rLVF is obtained by introducing a data-based LVF under the worst-case disturbance of the observed state.Using the rLVF,a uniformly ultimate boundedness criterion is established.This criterion is desired to ensure that the cost function,which serves as a safety criterion,ultimately converges to a range via the policy to be designed.Moreover,to mitigate the drastic variation of the rLVF caused by differences in states,a smoothing regularization of the rLVF is introduced.To train policies with safety guarantees under the worst disturbances of the observed states,an off-policy robust RL algorithm is proposed.The proposed algorithm is applied to motion control tasks of an autonomous vehicle and a cartpole,which involve external disturbances and variations of the model parameters,respectively.The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical findings and the advantages of the proposed algorithm in terms of robustness and safety.

Platelet-rich plasma(PRP)that has various growth factors has been used clinically in cartilage repair.However,the short residence time and release time at the injury site limit its therapeutic effect.The present study fabricated a granular hydrogel that was assembled from gelatin microspheres and tannic acid through their abundant hydrogen bonding.Gelatin microspheres with the gelatin concentration of 10wt%and the diameter distribution of 1-10 lm were used to assemble by tannic acid to form the granular hydrogel,which exhibited elasticity under low shear strain,but flowability under higher shear strain.The viscosity decreased with the increase in shear rate.Meanwhile,the granular hydrogel exhibited self-healing feature during rheology test.Thus,granular hydrogel carrying PRP not only exhibited well-performed injectability but also performed like a‘plasticine’that possessed good plasticity.The granular hydrogel showed tissue adhesion ability and reactive oxygen species scavenging ability.Granular hydrogel carrying PRP transplanted to full-thickness articular cartilage defects could integrate well with native cartilage,resulting in newly formed cartilage articular fully filled in defects and well-integrated with the native cartilage and subchondral bone.The unique features of the present granular hydrogel,including injectability,plasticity,porous structure,tissue adhesion and reactive oxygen species scavenging provided an ideal PRP carrier toward cartilage tissue engineering.

In addressing the challenge of motion artifacts in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) lung scans, our studyintroduces the Triple Equivariant Motion Transformer (TEMT), an innovative, unsupervised, deep-learningbasedframework for efficient respiratory motion correction in PET imaging. Unlike traditional techniques,which segment PET data into bins throughout a respiratory cycle and often face issues such as inefficiency andoveremphasis on certain artifacts, TEMT employs Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for effective featureextraction and motion decomposition.TEMT’s unique approach involves transforming motion sequences into Liegroup domains to highlight fundamental motion patterns, coupled with employing competitive weighting forprecise target deformation field generation. Our empirical evaluations confirm TEMT’s superior performancein handling diverse PET lung datasets compared to existing image registration networks. Experimental resultsdemonstrate that TEMT achieved Dice indices of 91.40%, 85.41%, 79.78%, and 72.16% on simulated geometricphantom data, lung voxel phantom data, cardiopulmonary voxel phantom data, and clinical data, respectively. Tofacilitate further research and practical application, the TEMT framework, along with its implementation detailsand part of the simulation data, is made publicly accessible at https://***/yehaowei/temt.

Natural variation of GmFNSII-2 contributes to drought resistance by modulating enzyme activity in soybean

As an essential crop that provides vegetable oil and protein,soybean(Glycine max(L.)Merr.)is widely planted all over the world.However,the scarcity of water resources worldwide has seriously impacted on the quality and yield of soybean.To address this,exploring excellent genes for improving drought resistance in soybean is crucial.In this study,we identified natural variations of GmFNSII-2(flavone synthase II)significantly affect the drought resistance of soybeans.Through sequence analysis of GmFNSII-2 in 632 cultivated and 44 wild soybeans nine haplotypes were identified.The full-length allele GmFNSII-2^(C),but not the truncated allele GmFNSII-2^(A) possessing a nonsense nucleotide variation,increased enzyme activity.Further research found that GmDREB3,known to increase soybean drought resistance,bound to the promoter region of GmFNSII-2^(C).GmDREB3 positively regulated the expression of GmFNSII-2^(C),increased flavone synthase abundance and improved the drought resistance.Furthermore,a singlebase mutation in the GmFNSII-2^(C) promoter generated an additional drought response element(CCCCT),which had stronger interaction strength with GmDREB3 and increased its transcriptional activity under drought conditions.The frequency of drought-resistant soybean varieties with Hap 1(Pro:GmFNSII-2^(C))has increased,suggesting that this haplotype may be selected during soybean breeding.In summary,GmFNSII-2^(C) could be used for molecular breeding of drought-tolerant soybean.

Can Digital Transformation Definitely Improve Firms'Markups?

In this paper,digital transformation is included in the heterogeneity model of firms.Based on a general equilibrium analysis,we find that under the effect of diminishing marginal productivity,digital transformation does not always have a positive impact on firms'markups,but has an"inverted U-shaped"nonlinear influence,which first promotes and then inhibits markups.Firm innovation and firm productivity are the key micro-mechanisms for the above effects to play a role.Based on the analysis of typical facts and empirical data of listed companies,the measurement test yields the following results.First,digital transformation can significantly improve firms'markups when it is below a specific threshold value,but it will have a negative impact when it exceeds this value.That is,there is an"inverted U-shaped"nonlinear relationship between digital transformation and firms'markups.Second,the heterogeneity analysis shows that digital transformation has a greater effect on the markups of state-owned firms,export firms and technology-intensive firms than on the markups of other firms.Third,digital transformation has an impact on firms'markups through two key mechanisms:firm innovation ability and production eficiency.The quantitative empirical results confirm the correctness of the theoretical expectations.Therefore,firms need to grasp the strategic opportunities brought by the progress of digital technology and accelerate the process of promoting the digital transformation.Firms should make proper choices in the selection and arrangement of key areas,as well as avoid possible problems such as"too much".In this way,we can better consolidate the micro foundation of China's high-quality economic development.

This paper investigates the problem of Joint Radar Node Selection and Power Allocation(JRNSPA)in the Multiple Radar System(MRS)in the blanket jamming environment.Each radar node independently tracks moving target and subsequently transmits the raw observation data to the fusion center,which formulates a centralized tracking network structure.In order to establish a practical blanket jamming environment,we suppose that each target carries the self-defense jammer which automatically implements blanket jamming to the radar nodes that exceed the preset interception probability.Subsequently,the Predicted Conditional Cramer-Rao Lower Bound(PC-CRLB)is derived and utilized as the tracking accuracy criterion.Aimed at ensuring both the tracking performance and the Low Probability of Intercept(LPI)performance,the resource-saving scheduling model is formulated to minimize the transmit power consumption while meeting the requirements of tracking accuracy.Finally,the Modified Zoutendijk Method Of Feasible Directions(MZMFD)-based two-stage solution technique is adopted to solve the formulated non-convex optimization model.Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed JRNSPA scheme.

Orius sauteri(Poppius)(Hemiptera:Anthocoridae)is often used for biological control of small arthropod pests in greenhouse vegetable production systems in Asia.In addition to feeding on arthropod prey,O.sauteri consumes small quantities of plant material.Previous studies demonstrated that tomato plant chemistry confers antixenosis resistance to phloem-feeding whiteflies,but the potential nontarget effects of phytochemicals on the beneficial predator O.sauteri are unknown.Comparison of O.sauteri confined to near-isogenic lines(NILs)of tomatoes producing high levels offlavonoids(NIL-purple hypocotyl;resistant to whiteflies)and low levels of flavonoids(NIL-green hypocotyl;susceptible to whiteflies)revealed that O.sauteri had reduced oviposition,nymphal survival,and development on resistant plants,even if they were also provided with prey that did not feed on the host plant.Moreover,O.sauteri showed a significant ovipositional preference in choice assays,laying significantly more eggs on susceptible than on resistant plants.Molecular gut content analysis using the specific chloroplast trnL gene from tomato confirmed that adult and immature O.sauteri feed on both resistant and susceptible genotypes,and feeding behavior assays revealed that resistance did not affect plant feeding or prey acceptance by O.sauteri adults.These results demonstrate a direct negative effect of phytochemicals on a nontarget beneficial species and indicate that resistance mediated by phytochemicals can affect organisms that do not solely feed on phloem sap.The results also indicate that the mode of action and the potential ecological effects of phytochemicalmediated resistance are broader than previously recognized.

Ovarian follicle development is associated with the physiological functions of granulosa cells(GCs),including proliferation and apoptosis.The level of miR-24-3p in ovarian tissue of high-yielding Yorkshire×Landrace sows was significantly higher than that of low-yielding sows.However,the functions of miR-24-3p on GCs are unclear.In this study,using flow cytometry,5-ethynyl-2′-de-oxyuridine(EdU)staining,and cell count,we showed that miR-24-3p promoted the proliferation of GCs increasing the proportion of cells in the S phase and upregulating the expression of cell cycle genes,moreover,miR-24-3p inhibited GC apoptosis.Mechanistically,on-line prediction,bioinformatics analysis,a luciferase reporter assay,RT-qPCR,and Western blot results showed that the target gene of miR-24-3p in proliferation and apoptosis is cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1B(P27/CDKN1B).Furthermore,the effect of miR-24-3p on GC proliferation and apoptosis was attenuated by P27 overexpression.These findings suggest that miR-24-3p regulates the physiological functions of GCs.
