High-precision magnetic field measurement system based on a coherent population trapping magnetometer onboard the SATech-01 satellite

On July 27, 2022, a high-precision system for measuring the magnetic field based on a coherent population trapping magnetometer（referred to as the CPT system） was launched onboard the Space Advanced Technology demonstration satellite（SATech-01） by a ZK-1A rocket. The payload comprises a scalar coherent population trapping magnetometer（CPTM）, triaxial anisotropic magnetoresistance magnetometer（AMRM）, and nano star tracker mounted on a non-magnetic telescopic tubular mast. This configuration enables synchronized measurement of scalar and vector geomagnetic fields, as well as the attitude,making the payload with its compact sensors suitable for applications on miniature satellite platforms. On November 7, 2022,the novel telescopic tubular mast was deployed in orbit, extending to a length of 5.28 m. The CPTM, an absolute scalar magnetometer with an omnidirectional sensor, is the first China-developed quantum/atomic magnetometer successfully operating in space. In orbit, the CPTM has sensitivity of ～10 pT/Hz1/2and can automatically operate under complex magnetic field variations. The difference between the scalar fields obtained using the CPTM and CHAOS model has a mean deviation of–3.73 n T and a standard deviation of 26.11 nT（1σ）, without on-orbit calibration or correction. The miniaturized AMRM has a sensitivity of ～0.3 n T/Hz1/2and maintains stable and reliable operation in orbit. The low-power and miniaturized nano star tracker has a measurement uncertainty of 14.23″（1σ） in orbit. The mission has realized the on-orbit technical verification of the integrated and synchronized detection of the vector magnetic field and attitude and fully validated the system's performance,automation level, and reliability.

Development of a fan-stirred constant volume combustion chamber and turbulence measurement with PIV

A fan-stirred combustion chamber is developed for spherically expanding flames,with P and T up to 10 bar and 473 K,*** characteristics are estimated using particle image velocimetry(PIV)at different initial pressures(P=0.5-5 bar),fan frequencies(ω=0-2000 r/min),and impeller diameters(D=100 and 114 mm).The flame propagation of methanol/air is investigated at different turbulence intensities(u′=0-1.77 m/s)and equivalence ratios(f=0.7-1.5).The results show that u′is independent of P and proportional toω,which can be up to 3.5 m/s at 2000 r/min.L_(T)is independent of P and performs a power regression withω*** turbulent field is homogeneous and isotropic in the central region of the chamber while the inertial subrange of spatial energy spectrum is more collapsed to-5/3 law at a high Re_(T).Compared to laminar expanding flames,the morphology of turbulent expanding flames is wrinkled and the wrinkles will be finer with the growth of turbulence intensity,consistent with the decline of the Taylor scale and the Kolmogorov *** determined S_(L)in the present study is in good agreement with that of previous *** S_(L)and S_(T)of methanol/air have a non-monotonic trend with f while peak S_(T)is shifted to the richer side compared to S_(L).This indicates that the newly built turbulent combustion chamber is reliable for further experimental study.

Biological distribution of ^(131)I-labeled anti-nucleus antigen monoclonal antibody chTNT in patients with pulmonary metastases from differentiated thyroid carcinoma

This work is to study the in vivo biological distribution of 131I-labeled mouse/human chimeric monoclonal antibody (131I-chTNT) in patients with pulmonary metastases from differentiated thyroid carcinoma. Ten patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma were injected intravenously with a single dose of 131I-chTNT (5 MBq·kg-1 body weight). Radioactivity of blood and urine samples was measured at different time points. The in vivo stability and the metabolic status of 131I-chTNT were detected with supersaturated trichloroacetic acid. Continuous imaging was performed to outline the region of interest (ROI) and estimate the intake level on the whole body,major organs and tumor lesions at different time points. The serum time-radioactivity curve of 131I-chTNT accorded with the two-compartment model after a single intravenous injection: T1/2(h)=65.28±14.83,AUC0-t(MBq·h·mL-1)=8.93±1.32,AUC0-∞(MBq·h·mL-1)=10.58±2.19,and CL(mL·min-1·kg-1)=1635±359. The time-radioactivity percentage curve of 131I-chTNT urine excretion accorded with the one-compartment model after a single intravenous injection: T1/2(h)=99±10,and accumulative (31±9) % radioactivity of the injected dose was excreted in urine in one week. The percentages of serum 131I-chTNT in radioactive components at 24,48 and 72 h were over 95% and it was still (88±7) % at 168 h. As for chemical composition of radioactive substances in urine,radioactivity in urine samples originated from free 131I by 100%. Radioactivity of 131I-chTNT after intravenous administration was mainly concentrated in the lung and liver,least in the brain. Radioactivity of tumor tissues reached the maximum at 24 h and the tumor/normal tissue (T/N) ratio reached the maximum (1.28～3.83) during 3～7 d. The characteristics of in vivo biological distribution of 131I-chTNT in patients with pulmonary metastases from differentiated thyroid carcinoma are favorable for its therapeutic application for the metastasis tumors.

Microgrid is a good option to integrate renewableenergy sources (RES) into power systems. Inorder to deal with the intermittent characteristics of therenewable energy based distributed generation (DG) units,a fuzzy-logic based coordinated control strategy of a batteryenergy storage system (BESS) and dispatchable DGunits is proposed for the microgrid management system(MMS). In the proposed coordinated control strategy, theBESS is used to minimize active power exchange at thepoint of common coupling of the microgrid for grid-connectedoperation, and is used for frequency control for islandoperation. The efficiency of the proposed controlstrategy was tested by case studies using DIgSILENT/PowerFactroy.

The choice of therapeutic agents remains an unsolved issue in the repair of spinal cord *** this work,various agents and configurations were investigated and compared for their performance in promoting nerve regeneration,including bead assembly and bulk gel of collagen and Matrigel,under acellular and cell-laden conditions,and cerebral organoid(CO)as the in vitro preorganized ***,in Matrigel-based agents and the CO transplantations,the recipient animal gained more axon regeneration and the higher Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan(BBB)scoring than the grafted collagen ***,new nerves more uniformly infiltrated into the transplants in bead form assembly than the molded ***,the materials loaded the neural progenitor cells(NPCs)or the CO implantation groups received more regenerated nerve fibers than their acellular counterparts,suggesting the necessity to transplant exogenous cells for large trauma(e.g.,a 5 mm long spinal cord transect).In addition,the activated microglial cells might benefit from neural regeneration after receiving CO transplantation in the recipient *** organoid augmentation may suggest that in vitro maturation of a microtissue complex is necessary before transplantation and proposes organoids as the premium therapeutic agents for nerve regeneration.

Typhoon Case Comparison Analysis Between Heterogeneous Many-Core and Homogenous Multicore Supercomputing Platforms

In this paper,a typical experiment is carried out based on a high-resolution air-sea coupled model,namely,the coupled ocean-atmosphere-wave-sediment transport(COAWST)model,on both heterogeneous many-core(SW)and homogenous multicore(Intel)supercomputing *** construct a hindcast of Typhoon Lekima on both the SW and Intel platforms,compare the simulation results between these two platforms and compare the key elements of the atmospheric and ocean modules to reanalysis *** comparative experiment in this typhoon case indicates that the domestic many-core computing platform and general cluster yield almost no differences in the simulated typhoon path and intensity,and the differences in surface pressure(PSFC)in the WRF model and sea surface temperature(SST)in the short-range forecast are very small,whereas a major difference can be identified at high latitudes after the first 10 *** heat budget analysis verifies that the differences in SST after 10 days are mainly caused by shortwave radiation variations,as influenced by subsequently generated typhoons in the *** typhoons generated in the hindcast after the first 10 days attain obviously different trajectories between the two platforms.

Aliphatic biodegradable polyesters have been the most widely used synthetic polymers for developing biodegradable devices as alternatives for the currently used permanent medical *** performances during biodegradation process play crucial roles for final realization of their *** physiological and biochemical environment in vivo significantly affects biodegradation process,large numbers of studies on effects of mechanical loads on the degradation of aliphatic biodegradable polyesters have been launched during last *** this review article,we discussed the mechanism of biodegradation and several different mechanical loads that have been reported to affect the biodegradation *** physiological and biochemical factors related to mechanical loads were also *** mechanical load could change the conformational strain energy and morphology to weaken the stability of the ***,the load and pattern could accelerate the loss of intrinsic mechanical properties of *** indicated that investigations into effects of mechanical loads on the degradation should be *** combination condition of mechanical loads and multiple factors should be considered in order to keep the degradation rate controllable and evaluate the degradation process in vivo *** then can the degradable devise achieve the desired effects and further expand the special applications of aliphatic biodegradable polyesters.
