Local-to-Global Causal Reasoning for Cross-Document Relation Extraction

Cross-document relation extraction(RE),as an extension of information extraction,requires integrating information from multiple documents retrieved from open domains with a large number of irrelevant or confusing noisy *** studies focus on the attention mechanism to construct the connection between different text features through semantic ***,similarity-based methods cannot distinguish valid information from highly similar retrieved documents *** to design an effective algorithm to implement aggregated reasoning in confusing information with similar features still remains an open *** address this problem,we design a novel local-toglobal causal reasoning(LGCR)network for cross-document RE,which enables efficient distinguishing,filtering and global reasoning on complex information from a causal ***,we propose a local causal estimation algorithm to estimate the causal effect,which is the first trial to use the causal reasoning independent of feature similarity to distinguish between confusing and valid information in cross-document ***,based on the causal effect,we propose a causality guided global reasoning algorithm to filter the confusing information and achieve global *** results under the closed and the open settings of the large-scale dataset Cod RED demonstrate our LGCR network significantly outperforms the state-ofthe-art methods and validate the effectiveness of causal reasoning in confusing information processing.

NH_(3) selective catalytic reduction(SCR) has been widely recognized as a promising technique for reducing nitrogen oxides from diesel vehicle exhausts. High-efficiency SCR catalysts that could perform at low temperatures are essential to denitration. In this work, a series of bimetallic CeCu-SAPO-34 molecular sieves were synthesized by one-step hydrothermal method. The Ce Cu-SAPO-34 maintained good crystallinity and a regular hexahedron appearance of Cu-SAPO-34 after introducing Ce species, while exhibiting a higher specific surface area and pore volume. The as-prepared CeCu-SAPO-34 with 0.02%(mass) Ce constituent exhibited the best catalytic activity below 300℃ and a maximum NO_(x) conversion of 99% was attained;the NO_(x) removal rates of more than 68% and 94% were achieved at 150℃ and 200℃, respectively. And the introduction of cerium species in Cu-SAPO-34 improves the low-temperature hydrothermal stability of the catalyst towards NH_(3)-SCR reaction. Additionally, the introduced Ce species could enhance the formation of abundant weak Br?nsted acid centers and promote the synergistic effect between CuO grains and isolated Cu^(2+) to enhance the redox cycle, which benefit the NH_(3)-SCR *** work provides a facile synthesis method of high-efficiency SCR denitration catalysts towards diesel vehicles exhaust treatment under low temperature.

In recent years, Flash LiDAR sensors based on direct timeof-flight(DToF) have been playing an increasingly important role in various 3D imaging fields. In order to perform a histogram on the chip to reduce the data rate, it is inevitable to use a large-size histogramming time-to-digital converter(hTDC) in a Flash LiDAR sensor. However, a large-size hTDC limits the spatial resolution of the sensor.

Design of non-noble metal electrocatalysts for biomass conversion to high-value chemicals and understanding the related catalytic mechanisms are of profound significance but have remained a major ***,we developed a novel biomass-derived electrocatalyst(denoted as Cu/NC),featuring with electron-deficient copper nanoparticles anchored on N-doped carbon nanosheets,for the electrochemical reduction of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)to 2,5-bis(hydroxymethyl)furan(BHMF,a vital precursor of functional polymers).The optimized Cu/NC electrocatalyst exhibited an excellent performance with high Faradaic efficiency(89.5%)and selectivity(90.8%)of BHMF at a low concentration of HMF(18.1 mM).Even at a very high HMF concentration(108.6 mM),the Faraday efficiency and selectivity of BHMF could still reach 74.8%and 81.1%,*** performance approached those of the reported noble metal-based *** study revealed that the N doping in the Cu/NC catalyst could regulate the electronic structure of Cu,strengthening the adsorption of the HMF carbonyl group,and thus boosting the selectivity of ***,strong electronic metal-support interactions of Cu and the N-doped carbon support optimized the charge transfer rate,thus promoting the dissociation of water to the active hydrogen(H^(*))species and boosting the reaction kinetic rate of H^(*)and HMF.

The effect of adding a small amount of Ag on the microstructure evolution and superplastic properties of Mg-Y-Er-Zn(WEZ612) alloys was systematically *** basal texture of the refined WEZ612 alloy produced by equal channel angular pressing was altered to a non-basal structure upon the addition of *** addition also refined the grain size and promoted the formation of a large number of nano-14H-long period stacking ordered *** high-resolution transmission electron microscopy,many nano-precipitated phases were detected on the basal plane of the Mg-Y-Er-Zn-1Ag(WEZ612-1Ag) alloy,The nano-precipitated phases on the basal plane improved the thermal stability of the alloy,lowered the deformation activation energy(Q),and improved the stress sensitivity index(m).At 523 K with a strain rate of 10^(-2) s^(-1),the Q value of WEZ612 was higher than that of WEZ612-1Ag(299.14 and 128.5 kJ mol^(-1),respectively).In contrast,the m value of the WEZ612 alloy(0.16) was lower than that of the WEZ612-1Ag alloy(0.46).At 623 K with a tensile rate of 10^(-2) s^(-1),the WEZ612 and WEZ612-1Ag alloys were elongated by 182% and 495%,respectively,with the latter exhibiting high-strain-rate and low-temperature *** improved superplasticity of the WEZ612-1Ag alloy is attributed to the nano-precipitated phases,which effectively limit the cavity extension during superplastic deformation.

In the future the fifth generation( 5 G) communication systems,channel models may be very complicated and it is difficult to calculate equivalent signal to interference plus noise ratio( SINR)of a random fading channel. Therefore,methods for the calculation of equivalent SINR of a random fading channel are very *** this paper,an enhanced algorithm on the exponential effective SINR mapping( EESM) model for random fading channels was proposed. First, the optimal adjustment parameters of typical channel fading models including extended pedestrian A( EPA)model,extended vehicular A( EVA) model and extended typical urban( ETU) model were obtained by simulation. Then the proposed solution was used to actualize channel classification according to the maximum multipath delay and the average power of the random channel. The solution can determine the typical channel closest to random channel for obtaining the optimal adjustment value of EESM. The evaluation results indicate that the proposed one can improve the whole system throughput significantly and meanwhile the accuracy of the link prediction algorithm is also guaranteed.

Geochronology and Geochemistry of Early Cretaceous Granitic Plutons in the Xing’an Massif, Great Xing’an Range, NE China: Petrogenesis and Tectonic Implications

In this study, we present zircon U-Pb ages, whole-rock geochemical data and Hf isotopic compositions for the Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons in Xing’an Massif, Great Xing’an Range, which can provide important information in deciphering both Mesozoic magmatism and tectonic evolution of NE China. The zircon U-Pb dating results indicate that alkali feldspar granite from Meiguifeng pluton was emplaced at ~145 to 137 Ma, and granite porphyry of Arxan pluton was formed at ~129 Ma. The Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons have similar geochemical features, which are characterized by high silica, total alkalis, differentiation index, with low P2O5, CaO, MgO, TFe2O3 contents. They belong to high-K calc-alkaline series, and show weakly peraluminous characteristics. The Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons are both enriched in LREEs and LILEs(e.g., Rb, Th, U and K), and depleted in HREEs and HFSEs(e.g., Nb, Ta and Ti). Combined with the petrological and geochemical features, the Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons show highly fractionated I-type granite affinity. Moreover, the Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons may share a common or similar magma source, and they were probably generated by partial melting of Neoproterozoic high-K basaltic crust. Meanwhile, plagioclase, K-feldspar, biotite, apatite, monazite, allanite and Ti-bearing phases fractionated from the magma during formation of Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons. Combined with spatial distribution and temporal evolution, we assume that the generation of Early Cretaceous Meiguifeng and Arxan plutons in Great Xing’an Range was closely related to the break-off of Mudanjiang oceanic plate. Furthermore, the Mudanjiang Ocean was probably a branch of Paleo-Pacific Ocean.

Vectored non-covalent interactions—mainly hydrogen bonding and aromatic interactions—extensively contribute to(bio)-organic self-assembling processes and significantly impact the physicochemical properties of the associated ***,vectored non-covalent interaction-driven assembly occursmainly along one-dimensional(1D)or three-dimensional(3D)directions,and a two-dimensional(2D)orientation,especially that of multilayered,graphene-like assembly,has been reported *** this present research,by introducing amino,hydroxyl,and phenyl moieties to the triazine skeleton,supramolecular layered assembly is achieved by vectored non-covalent *** planar hydrogen bonding network results in high stability,with a thermal sustainability of up to about 330°C and a Young’s modulus of up to about 40 *** introducing wrinkles by biased hydrogen bonding or aromatic interactions to disturb the planar organization,the stability ***,the intertwined aromatic interactions prompt a red edge excitation shift effect inside the assemblies,inducing broad-spectrum fluorescence covering nearly the entire visible light region(400–650 nm).We show that bionic,superhydrophobic,pillar-like arrays with contact angles of up to about 170°can be engineered by aromatic interactions using a physical vapor deposition approach,which cannot be realized through hydrogen *** findings show the feasibility of 2D assembly with engineerable properties by modulating vectored non-covalent interactions.

Controllable fabrication of mesoporous carbon nanoparticles(MCNs)with tunable pore structures is of great interest,due to the remarkable effect of pore structure on electrochemical performance of the ***,it has remained a major ***,we demonstrate the controlled synthesis of MCNs with tunable closed pore structures via a silica-assisted coassembly strategy,which employs polystyrene-block-poly(ethylene oxide)diblock copolymers as soft template,phenolic resol and tetraethyl orthosilicate as carbon and silica precursors,*** simply varying the sequential cross-linking of the silica and carbon precursors or the copolymer composition,novel MCNs with alluring spherical,hollow-hoop-structured,or yolk-shell-like closed mesopores are tunably *** particular,serving as cathode materials of lithium-sulfur batteries,the resultant silica-hybridized MCNs with the exceptional hollow-hoop mesopores and a moderate sulfur-loading content of 46 wt%exhibit top-level electrochemical *** study opens an avenue for tunable construction of mesoporous particles with closed pores and provides clues for the effect of pore geometry on the electrochemical performance of porous cathode materials for lithium-sulfur batteries.
