Background:Liver cancer is a malignancy with high morbidity and mortality *** family E member 2(SERPINE2)has been reported to play a key role in the metastasis of many *** this study,we aimed to investigate the potential mechanism of SERPINE2 in liver cancer ***:The Cancer Genome Atlas database(TCGA),including DNA methy-lation and transcriptome sequencing data,was utilized to identify the crucial oncogene associated with DNA methylation and cancer progression in liver *** from the TCGA and RNA sequencing for 94 pairs of liver cancer tissues were used to explore the correlation between SERPINE2 expression and clin-ical parameters of *** methylation sequencing was used to detect the DNA methylation levels in liver cancer tissues and *** sequencing,cytokine assays,immunoprecipitation(IP)and mass spectrometry(MS)assays,protein stability assays,and ubiquitination assays were performed to explore the regulatory mechanism of SERPINE2 in liver cancer ***-derived xenografts and tumor organoid models were established to determine the role of SERPINE2 in the treatment of liver cancer using ***:Based on the public database screening,SERPINE2 was identified as a tumor promoter regulated by DNA ***2 expression was significantly higher in liver cancer tissues and was associated with the dismal prognosis in patients with liver ***2 promoted liver cancer metas-tasis by enhancing cell pseudopodia formation,cell adhesion,cancer-associated fibroblast activation,extracellular matrix remodeling,and ***/MS assays confirmed that SERPINE2 activated epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)and its downstream signaling pathways by interacting with ***,SERPINE2 inhibited EGFR ubiquitination and maintained its protein stability by competing with the E3 ubiquitin ligase,***,EGFR was activated in liver cancer cells after sorafenib treatment,and SER

Several three-dimensional solutions for transversely isotropic functionally graded material plate welded with circular inclusion

The problem of a transversely isotropic functionally graded material （FGM） plate welded with a circular inclusion is considered. The analysis starts with the general- ized England-Spencer plate theory for transversely isotropic FGM plates, which expresses a three-dimensional （3D） general solution in terms of four analytic functions. Several analytical solutions are then obtained for an infinite FGM plate welded with a circular inclusion and subjected to the loads at infinity. Three different cases are considered, i.e., a rigid circular inclusion fixed in the space, a rigid circular inclusion rotating about the x-, y-, and z-axes, and an elastic circular inclusion with different material constants from the plate itself. The static responses of the plate and/or the inclusion are investigated through numerical examples.

This paper exactly analyzes the problem of a rigid sphereindenting a transversely isotropic piezoelectric half-space. Thepotential theory method is employed and generalized to included thepiezoelec- tric effect. By using the previous results of elasticity,an exact solution is derived. It is found that all the elastoelectricvariables can be expressed in terms of elementary functions.

A rotating ellipsoid composed of an orthotropic piezoelectricmaterial (2mm) are considered, and the stress and electricdisplacement fields in this rotating ellipsoid are obtained exactlyand completely. The solutions of the same problem for transverselyisotropic piezoelectric material (6 mm) are also given byDegenerating above results. At last, numerical examples for fourkinds of media are illustrated in figures for Comparison.

Exact solutions in elementary functions are derived for the stress and electric displacement intensity factors of a half-plane crack in a transversely isotropic piezoelectric space interacting with various resultant sources, including force dipole, electric dipole, moment, force dilatation and rotation. Such force and charge sources may model defects like vacancies, foreign particles and dislocations. The locations and orientations of the stress and charge sources with respect to the crack are arbitrary.

The Boundary Contour Method for Half-Plane Piezoelectric Media

This paper presents a further development of the Boundary Contour Method (BCM) for half-plane piezoelectric media. Firstly, the divergence free property of the integrand of the half-plane piezoelectric boundary element is proven. Secondly, the boundary contour method formulation is derived and potential functions are obtained by introducing linear shape functions and Green's functions[1] for half-plane piezoelectric media. Finally, numerical solutions for illustrative example are compared with exact ones and that of conventional boundary element method (BEM) ones. The numerical results of BCM coincide very well with exact solution, and the feasibility and efficiency of the method are verified.

By introducing two displacement functions as well as two stressfunctions, two independent state equations with variable coefficientsare derived from the three-dimensional theory equations of piezo-elasticity for transverse isotropy. A laminated approximation is usedto transform the state equations to those with constant coefficientsin each sub-layer. The bending problem of a functionally gradedrectangular plate is then analyzed based on the state *** results are presented and the effect of material gradi- entindex is discussed.

Three-dimensional analytical solution for a transversely isotropic functionally graded piezoelectric circular plate subject to a uniform electric potential difference

This paper studies the problem of a functionally graded piezoelectric circular plate subjected to a uniform electric potential difference between the upper and lower surfaces. By assuming the generalized displacements in appropriate forms,five differential equations governing the generalized displacement functions are derived from the equilibrium equations. These displacement functions are then obtained in an explicit form,which still involve four undetermined integral constants,through a step-by-step integration which properly incorporates the boundary conditions at the upper and lower surfaces. The boundary conditions at the cylindrical surface are then used to determine the integral constants. Hence,three-dimen sional analytical solutions for electrically loaded functionally graded piezoelectric circular plates with free or simply-supported edge are completely determined. These solutions can account for an arbitrary material variation along the thickness,and thus can be readily degenerated into those for a homogenous plate. A numerical example is finally given to show the validity of the analysis,and the effect of material inhomogeneity on the elastic and electric fields is discussed.

A dynamic thermoelastic solution of a cylindrically isotropiccylindrical tube or solid cylinder with axisymmetric planedeformations is developed. Since there exist thermal boundaryconditions and trac- tions on the two surfaces of a cylindrical tube,the problem under consideration is with inhomogeneous bound- aryconditions. Therefore we introduce a special function to transformthe inhomogeneous boundary conditions to homogeneous ones for anunknown function. They by using the method of separation ofvariables, the un- known function can be expressed as themultiplication series of Bessel functions and unknown time functions.

Acid loss and plasticization of phosphoric acid(PA)-doped high-temperature polymer electrolyte membranes(HT-PEMs)are critical limitations to their practical application in fuel *** overcome these barriers,poly(terphenyl piperidinium)s constructed from the m-and p-isomers of terphenyl were synthesized to regulate the microstructure of the *** rigid p-terphenyl units prompt the formation of moderate PA aggregates,where the ion-pair interaction between piperidinium and biphosphate is reinforced,leading to a reduction in the plasticizing *** a result,there are trade-offs between the proton conductivity,mechanical strength,and PA retention of the membranes with varied m/p-isomer *** designed PA-doped PTP-20m membrane exhibits superior ionic conductivity,good mechanical strength,and excellent PA retention over a wide range of temperature(80–160°C)as well as satisfactory resistance to harsh accelerated aging *** a result,the membrane presents a desirable combination of performance(1.462 W cm^(-2) under the H_(2)/O_(2)condition,which is 1.5 times higher than that of PBI-based membrane)and durability(300 h at 160°C and 0.2 A cm^(-2))in the fuel *** results of this study provide new insights that will guide molecular design from the perspective of microstructure to improve the performance and robustness of HT-PEMs.
