Heavy metal(loid)s(HMs)pollution has become a common and complex problem in industrial parks due to rapid industrialization and ***,soil and groundwater were sampled from a retired industrial park to investigate the pollution characteristics of *** show that Ni,Pb,Cr,Zn,Cd,and Cu were the typical HMs in the *** analysis with the positive matrix factorization model indicates that HMs in the topsoil stemmed from industrial activities,traffic emission,and natural source,and the groundwater HMs originated from industrial activities,groundwater-soil interaction,groundwater-rock interaction,and atmosphere *** sequential extraction of soil HMs reveals that As and Hg were mainly distributed in the residue fraction,while Ni,Pb,Cr,Zn,Cd,and Cu mainly existed in the mobile *** HMs either in the total concentration or in the bioavailable fraction preferred to retain in soil as indicated by their high soil-water partitioning coefficients(K_(d)),and the K_(d) values were correlated with soil pH,groundwater redox potential,and dissolved *** relative stable soil-groundwater circumstance and the low active fraction contents limited the vertical migration of soil HMs and their release to *** findings increase our knowledge about HMs pollution characteristics of traditional industrial parks and provide a protocol for HMs pollution scrutinizing in large zones.

As the interaction between the combustor and the turbine in the aero-engine continues to increase,the film cooling design considering the combustor swirling outflow has become the research *** swirling inflow and high-temperature gas first affect the vane leading edge(LE).However,no practical improved solution for the LE cooling design has been proposed considering the combustor swirling *** this paper,the improved scheme of showerhead cooling is carried out around the two ways of adopting the laid-back-fan-shaped hole and reducing the coolant outflow *** film cooling effectiveness(η) and the coolant flow state are obtained by PSP(pressure-sensitive-paint) and numerical simulation methods,*** research results show that the swirling inflow increases the film distribution inhomogeneity by imposing the radial pressure gradient on the vane to make the film excessively gather in some *** showerhead film cooling adopts the laid-back-fan-shaped hole to reduce the momentum when the coolant flows *** this cooling scheme improves the film attachment and increases the surface-averaged film cooling effectiveness(η_(sur)) by as much as15.4%,the film distribution inhomogeneity *** reducing the coolant outlet angle,the wall-tangential velocity of the coolant increases,and the wall-normal velocity *** the swirl intake condition,both ηand the film distribution uniformity are significantly increased,and the growth of η_(sur) is up to 16.5%.This paper investigates two improved schemes to improve the showerhead cooling under the swirl intake condition to provide a reference for the vane cooling design.

It remains full of challenge for extending short-wave infrared(SWIR)spectral response and weak-light detection in the context of broad spectral responses for *** this work,a novel poly(2,5-bis(4-hexyldodecyl)-2,5-dihydro-3,6-di-2-thienyl-pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole-1,4-dione-alt-thiophene)(PDPPT3-HDO):COTIC-4F organic bulk-heterojunction is prepared as active layer for bulk heterojunction ***3-HDO serves as a hole transport material,while COTIC-4F enhances the absorption of SWIR light to 1020 *** a result,smooth and connected PDPPT3-HDO film is fabricated by blade coating method and exhibits high hole mobility up to 2.34 cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1) with a current on/off ratio of 4.72×10^(5) in organic thin film ***3-HDO:COTIC-4F heterojunction phototransistors exhibit high responsivity of 2680 A·W^(-1) to 900 nm and 815 A·W^(-1) to 1020 nm,with fast response time(rise time~20 ms and fall time~100 ms).The photosensitivity of the heterojunction phototransistor improves as the mass ratio of non-fullerene acceptors increases,resulting in an approximately two orders of magnitude enhancement compared to the bare polymer ***,the phototransistor exhibits decent responsivity even under ultra-weak light power of 43μW·cm^(-2) to 1020 *** work represents a highly effective and general strategy for fabricating efficient and sensitive SWIR light photodetectors.

Colorectal cancer(CRC)stands among the top prevalent cancers worldwide and holds a prominent position as a major contributor to cancer-related mortality *** in melanoma 2(AIM2),a constituent of the interferoninducible hematopoietic interferon-inducible nuclear antigens with 200 amino acid repeats protein family,contributes to both cancer progression and inflammasome *** this understanding,the precise biological functions and molecular mechanisms governed by AIM2 in CRC remain ***,this study endeavors to assess AIM2’s expression levels,explore its potential antitumor effects,elucidate associated cancer-related processes,and decipher the underlying signaling pathways in *** findings showed a reduced AIM2 expression in most CRC cell *** of AIM2 levels suppressed CRC cell proliferation and migration,altered cell cycle by inhibiting G1/S transition,and induced cell *** research uncovered the participation of P38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(P38MAPK)in AIM2-mediated modulation of CRC cell apoptosis and ***,our achievements distinctly underscored AIM2’s antitumor role in ***2 overexpression inhibited proliferation and migration and induced apoptosis of CRC cells via activating P38MAPK signaling pathway,indicating AIM2 as a prospective and novel therapeutic target for CRC.

The severe dependence of traditional phase change materials(PCMs)on the temperature-response and lattice deficiencies in versatility cannot satisfy demand for using such materials in complex application ***,we introduced metal ions to induce the self-assembly of MXene nanosheets and achieve their ordered arrangement by combining suction filtration and rapid ***,a series of MXene/K^(+)/paraffin wax(PW)phase change composites(PCCs)were obtained via vacuum impregnation in molten *** prepared MXene-based PCCs showed versatile applications from macroscale technologies,successfully transforming solar,electric,and magnetic energy into thermal energy stored as latent heat in the ***,due to the absence of binder in the MXene-based aerogel,MK3@PW exhibits a prime solar-thermal conversion efficiency(98.4%).Notably,MK3@PW can further convert the collected heat energy into electric energy through thermoelectric equipment and realize favorable solar-thermal-electric conversion(producing 206 mV of voltage with light radiation intensity of 200 mw cm^(−2)).An excellent Joule heat performance(reaching 105℃with an input voltage of 2.5 V)and responsive magnetic-thermal conversion behavior(a charging time of 11.8 s can achieve a thermal insulation effect of 285 s)for contactless thermotherapy were also demonstrated by the MK3@***,as a result of the ordered arrangement of MXene nanosheet self-assembly induced by potassium ions,MK3@PW PCC exhibits a higher electromagnetic shielding efficiency value(57.7 dB)than pure MXene aerogel/PW PCC(29.8 dB)with the same MXene *** work presents an opportunity for the multi-scene response and practical application of PCMs that satisfy demand of next-generation multifunctional PCCs.

Ultrashort and powerful laser interactions with a target generate intense wideband electromagnetic pulses(EMPs).In this study,we report EMPs generated by the interactions between petawatt(30 fs,1.4×10^(20) W/cm^(2))femtosecond(fs)lasers with metal flat,plastic flat,and plastic nanowire-array(NWA)*** analyses are conducted on the EMPs in terms of their spatial distribution,time and frequency domains,radiation energy,and *** results indicate that EMPs from metal targets exhibit larger amplitudes at varying angles than those generated by other types of targets and are enhanced significantly for NWA *** a plastic target holder and increasing the laser focal spot can significantly decrease the radiation energy of the ***,the composite shielding materials indicate an effective shielding effect against *** simulation results show that the NWA targets exert a collimating effect on thermal electrons,which directly affects the distribution of *** study provides guidance for regulating EMPs by controlling the laser focal spot,target parameters,and target rod material and is beneficial for electromagnetic-shielding design.

The global trend towards new energy storage systems has stimulated the development of electrochemical energy storage *** these technologies,rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have attracted considerable interest as a potential alternative to lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to their affordable cost,environmental compatibility and high safety *** this study,a high-quality electrode for AZIBs has been successfully developed using a dehydrated mixed-valence polyoxometalate-based three-dimensional(3D)inorganic framework material known as[H_6Mn_(3)V^Ⅳ_(15)V-^Ⅴ_(4O)_(46)(H_2O)_(12)](3D-MnVO).This innovative 3D-MnVO material is built from the alternate connections of{V_(19)O_(46)}"sphere-shaped"clusters andμ_(2)-{Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)}bridges,where each{V_(19)O_(46)}cluster is surrounded by three pairs of vertically distributed{Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)}units,thus resulting in the 3D interpenetrating grid-like network from the infinite[-{V_(19)O_(46)}-μ_(2)-Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)-{V_(19)O_(46)}]_∞chains in three mutually perpendicular *** 3D framework structure of 3D-MnVO possesses abundant oxygen vacancies,spacious and multi-level interconnected channels for ion transport,which facilitates the efficient intercalation/deintercalation of hydrated Zn^(2+)into the pores of the primary structure via the intercalation capacitance *** a result,the 3D-MnVO electrode exhibits excellent diffusion rates and minimal interfacial *** a current density of 0.1 A·g^(-1),the 3D-MnVO cathode delivers a commendable discharge capacity of170.5 mAh·g^(-1)with 81.6%capacity retention after100 charge/discharge ***,even at a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(-1),the 3D-MnVO electrode delivers a remarkable reversible capacity of198.9 mAh·g^(-1).Our research results provide valuable insights into the development of advanced polyoxometalate-based 3D inorganic framework electrode materials for high-performance rechargeable AZIBs.

Due to the limited bandwidth and transmission congestion of the vehicle platoon's communication,it is inevitable to induce time delay,which significantly degrades the control performance of the vehicle platoon,even resulting in *** paper focuses on analyzing the internal stability under generic communication topologies and presents a method of computing the exact time delay margin(ETDM).The proposed method can offer a necessary and sufficient internal stability condition with no ***,to reduce the analytical complexity and computational burden elegantly,we decompose the closed-loop platoon dynamics into a set of individual subsystems via similarity transformation and matrix *** decomposition approach is applicable for any general communication ***,an explicit formula is deduced to compute the ETDM by surveying the characteristic roots'distribution of all these individual *** is further demonstrated that only the positive purely imaginary roots need to be considered to compute the ***,simulations are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical claims.

In an endeavor to establish a connection between the mean velocity profile in compressible wall-bounded turbulence and its incompressible analogue,a refined version of the Trettel and Larsson's(TL)transformation is systematically derived and rigorously assessed across diverse flow *** the recently proposed intrinsic compressibility effects and modeling the multi-layer structure of mixing lengths,the proposed transformation demonstrates exceptional performance in collapsing 57canonical flow cases,including cooled channel and pipe flows,channel flows with pseudo heat sources,as well as adiabatic and diabatic boundary layer ***,the transformation seamlessly extends to low Reynolds number cooled channel and pipe flows,achieving a level of accuracy unparalleled by other transformations in the current state-of-the-art.

Transient synthesis of carbon-supported high-entropy alloy sulfide nanoparticles via flash Joule heating for efficient electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution

High entropy alloys(HEA)are frequently employed as catalysts in electrocatalytic hydrogen ***,the traditional high entropy alloy synthesis methods are time-consuming,energy-intensive,and environmentally polluting,which limits their application in the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).This study leveraged the capabilities of flash Joule heating(FJH)to synthesize carbon-supported high-entropy alloy sulfide nanoparticles(CC-S-HEA)on carbon cloth(CC)with good self-standing properties within 300 *** carbon thermal shock generated by the Joule heating could pyrolyze the sulfur source into gas,resulting in numerous pore structures and defects on CC,forming an S-doped carbon substrate(CC-S).Then the S atoms were used to stably anchor the metal atoms on CC-S to form high-density uniformly dispersed HEA *** electrochemical test results demonstrated that CC-S-HEA prepared at 60 V flash voltage had HER performance comparable to Pt/*** density functional theory(DFT)calculation indicated that the S atoms on CC-S accelerated the electron transfer between the carbon substrate and HEA ***,the unique electronic structure of CC-S-HEA was beneficial to H*adsorption and promoted catalytic *** simplicity and versatility of FJH synthesis are of great significance for optimizing the synthesis of HEA and improving the quality of HEA products,which provides a broad application prospect for the synthesis of nanocatalysts with efficient HER performance.
