Efficient cutting path planning for a non-spherical tool based on an iso-scallop height distance field

Iso-scallop height machining means,when machining a freeform surface,the scallop height between any two neighboring tool paths on the surface will be a constant(i.e.,the given threshold),which is preferable among various freeform surface machining strategies due to its high machining efficiency as well as better machine tool’s ***,all the existing iso-scallop height path planning methods pertain to only the ball-end or flat-end types of *** recent years,the non-spherical cutting tool has become more and more popular,especially for five-axis machining of complex freeform surfaces,majorly owing to its non-constant curvature which can be utilized to adaptively fit the tool to the surface to both avoid the local gouging and enlarge the cutting ***,there have been no reported works on iso-scallop height five-axis tool path generation for a non-spherical tool,and,in this paper,we present ***,we first define and construct two fields on the surface to be machined-the collision-free tool orientation field(vector)and the iso-scallop height distance field(scalar).The iso-lines of the scalar field and their associated tool orientation field vectors then naturally serve as potential iso-scallop height five-axis tool paths,and we present a propagation-based algorithm to construct the desired tool path from the *** computer simulation and physical cutting experiments confirm that everywhere on the surface,except maybe near the saddle curves of the scalar filed,the scallop height is exactly the given *** adding the saddle curves as extra tool paths,the final machined surface then is assured of the required scallop height requirement.

An intermittent lithium deposition model based on CuMnbimetallic MOF derivatives for composite lithium anode with ultrahigh areal capacity and current densities

Recently,three-dimensional(3D)conductive frameworks have been chosen as the host for composite lithium(Li)metal anode because of their exceptional electrical conductivity and remarkable thermal and electrochemical ***,Li tends to accumulate on the top of the 3D frameworks with homogenous lithiophilicity and Li dendrite still *** work firstly designed a bimetallic metal-organic framework(MOF)(CuMn-MOF)derived Cu_(2)O and Mn_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles decorated carbon cloth(CC)substrates(CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4))to fabricate a composite Li *** to the synergistic effects of lithiophilic Cu_(2)O and Mn_(3)O_(4),the CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4)@Li symmetrical cell can afford a prolonged cycling lifespan(1400 h)under an ultrahigh current density and areal capacity(6 mA·cm^(-2)/6 mAh·cm^(-2)).When coupled with the LiFePO_(4)(LFP)cathode,the LFP||CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4)@Li full cell demonstrated a superior performance of 89.7 mAh·g^(-1) even at an extremely high current density(10 C).Furthermore,it can also be matched well with LiNi_(0.5)Co^(0).2Mn_(0.3)O_(2)(NCM523)***,to explain the excellent performances of the CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4)@Li composite anode,an intermittent model was also *** study offers a novel model that can enhance our comprehension of the Li deposition behavior and pave the way to attain stable and safe Li metal anodes by employing bimetallic MOF-derived materials to construct 3D frameworks.

Wind-photovoltaic(PV)-hydrogen-storage multi-agent energy systems are expected to play an important role in promoting renewable power utilization and *** this study,a coordinated operation method was proposed for a wind-PVhydrogen-storage multi-agent energy ***,a coordinated operation model was formulated for each agent considering peer-to-peer power ***,a coordinated operation interactive framework for a multi-agent energy system was proposed based on the theory of the alternating direction method of ***,a distributed interactive algorithm was proposed to protect the privacy of each agent and solve coordinated operation ***,the effectiveness of the proposed coordinated operation method was tested on multi-agent energy systems with different structures,and the operational revenues of the wind power,PV,hydrogen,and energy storage agents of the proposed coordinated operation model were improved by approximately 59.19%,233.28%,16.75%,and 145.56%,respectively,compared with the independent operation model.

Extraction method of typical IEQ spatial distributions based on low-rank sparse representation and multi-step clustering

Indoor environment quality(IEQ)is one of the most concerned building performances during the operation *** non-uniform spatial distribution of various IEQ parameters in large-scale public buildings has been demonstrated to be an essential factor affecting occupant comfort and building energy ***,IEQ sensors have been widely employed in buildings to monitor thermal,visual,acoustic and air ***,there is a lack of effective methods for exploring the typical spatial distribution of indoor environmental quality parameters,which is crucial for assessing and controlling non-uniform indoor *** this study,a novel clustering method for extracting IEQ spatial distribution patterns is ***,representation vectors reflecting IEQ distributions in the concerned space are generated based on the low-rank sparse ***,a multi-step clustering method,which addressed the problems of the“curse of dimensionality”,is designed to obtain typical IEQ distribution patterns of the entire indoor *** proposed method was applied to the analysis of indoor thermal environment in Beijing Daxing international airport *** a result,four typical temperature spatial distribution patterns of the terminal were extracted from a four-month monitoring,which had been validated for their good *** typical patterns revealed typical environmental issues in the terminal,such as long-term localized overheating and temperature increases due to a sudden influx of *** extracted typical IEQ spatial distribution patterns could assist building operators in effectively assessing the uneven distribution of IEQ space under current environmental conditions,facilitating targeted environmental improvements,optimization of thermal comfort levels,and application of energy-saving measures.

Estimating wheat spike-leaf composite indicator(SLI)dynamics by coupling spectral indices and machine learning

The contribution of spike photosynthesis to grain yield(GY)has been overlooked in the accurate spectral prediction of ***,it’s essential to construct and estimate a yield-related phenotypic trait considering spike *** on field and spectral reflectance data from 19 wheat cultivars under two nitrogen fertilization conditions in two years,our objectives were to(i)construct a yield-related phenotypic trait(spike–leaf composite indicator,SLI)accounting for the contribution of the spike to photosynthesis,(ii)develop a novel spectral index(enhanced triangle vegetation index,ETVI3)sensitive to SLI,and(iii)establish and evaluate SLI estimation models by integrating spectral indices and machine learning *** results showed that SLI was sensitive to nitrogen fertilizer and wheat cultivar variation as well as a better predictor of yield than the leaf area ***3 maintained a strong correlation with SLI throughout the growth stage,whereas the correlations of other spectral indices with SLI were poor after spike *** spectral indices and machine learning algorithms improved the estimation accuracy of SLI,with the most accurate estimates of SLI showing coefficient of determination,root mean square error(RMSE),and relative RMSE values of 0.71,0.047,and 26.93%,*** results provide new insights into the role of fruiting organs for the accurate spectral prediction of *** high-throughput SLI estimation approach can be applied for wheat yield prediction at whole growth stages and may be assisted with agronomical practices and variety selection.

P-and SV-wave dispersion and attenuation in saturated microcracked porous rock with aligned penny-shaped fractures

P-and SV-wave dispersion and attenuation have been extensively investigated in saturated poroelastic media with aligned ***,there are few existing models that incorporate the multiple wave attenuation mechanisms from the microscopic scale to the macroscopic ***,in this work,we developed a unified model to incorporate the wave attenuation mechanisms at different scales,which includes the microscopic squirt flow between the microcracks and pores,the mesoscopic wave-induced fluid flow between fractures and background(FB-WIFF),and the macroscopic Biot's global flow and elastic scattering(ES)from the *** tang's modified Biot's theory and the mixed-boundary conditions,we derived the exact frequency-dependent solutions of the scattering problem for a single penny-shaped fracture with oblique incident P-and *** then developed theoretical models for a set of aligned fractures and randomly oriented fractures using the Foldy *** results indicated that microcrack squirt flow considerably influences the dispersion and attenuation of P-and SV-wave *** coupling effects of microcrack squirt flow with the FB-WIFF and ES of fractures cause much higher velocity dispersion and attenuation for P waves than for SV *** oriented fractures substantially reduce the attenuation caused by the FB-WIFF and ES,particularly for the ES attenuation of SV *** a comparison with existing models in the limiting cases and previous experimental measurements,we validated our model.

Model for estimating the weight-loss ratio of damaged Korla fragrant pears

To predict the weight-loss ratio of Korla fragrant pears effectively,improve commodity value and study the variation laws of the weight-loss ratio of damaged fragrant pears during storage,this study predicted the weight-loss ratio of fragrant pears by utilizing the generalized regression neural network(GRNN),support vector regression(SVR),partial least squares regression(PLSR)and error back propagation neural network(BPNN).The prediction performances of GRNN,SVR,PLSR and BPNN models were compared comprehensively,and the optimal model was *** addition,the optimal prediction model was *** results show that weight-loss ratio of fragrant pears increases gradually with the extension of storage *** storage,the weight-loss ratio of fragrant pears is positively related to the degree of *** trained GRNN,SVR,PLSR and BPNN models can be used to predict the weight-loss ratio of fragrant *** BPNN model is the most accurate in predicting the weight-loss ratio of damaged fragrant pears(R^(2)=0.9929;RMSE=0.2138).It has also been proved to have good predictive effect in production practice(R^(2)=0.9377,RMSE=0.7138).The research findings can provide references to predict the delivery quality and time of delivery of Korla fragrant pears.

The Conversion of Non-Dispersed Polymers into Low-Potassium Anti-Collapse Drilling Fluids

Different drillingﬂuid systems are designed according to mineral composition,lithology and wellbore stability of different *** the present study,the conversion of a non-dispersed polymer drillingﬂuid into a low potas-sium anti-collapsing drillingﬂuid is *** the two drillingﬂuids belong to completely different types,the key to this conversion is represented by new inhibitors,dispersants and water-loss agents by which a non-dispersed drillingﬂuid can be turned into a dispersed drillingﬂuid while ensuring wellbore stability and reason-able rheology(carrying sand—inhibiting cuttings dispersion).In particular,the(QYZ-1)inhibitors and(FSJSS-2)dispersants are *** former can inhibit the hydration expansion capacity of clay,reduce the dynamic shear force and weaken the viscosity;the latter can improve the sealing effect and reduce theﬁltrate *** results have shown that after adding a reasonable proportion of these substances(QYZ-1:FSJSS-2)to the non-dispersed polymer drillingﬂuid,while the apparent viscosity,plastic viscosity,structural viscosity andﬂuidity index under-went almost negligible changes,the dynamic plastic ratio increased,and theﬁltration loss decreased signiﬁcantly,thereby indicating good *** to the tests(conducted in the Leijia area),the density was 1.293 g/cm3,and after standing for 24 h,the SF(static settlement factor)was ***,theﬁltration loss was reduced to 4.0 mL,the rolling recovery rate reached 96.92%,with excellent plugging and anti-collapse performances.

Green carbonization of waste coffee grounds into porous C/Fe hybrids for broadband and high-efficiency microwave absorption

Recently great effort s have been focused on designing high-performance microwave absorbers using sustainable biomass resources,but there remains a lack of green and efficient fabrication ***,inspired by natural porous character of biomass waste,we demonstrated a green one-step route to convert waste coffee grounds into porous C/Fe hybrids,and further explored their potential applications for broadband and high-efficiency microwave *** this design,the WCG-20-750(incorporated 20 wt%Fe(C_(5)H_(7)O_(2))_(3)catalyst and carbonized at 750℃)exhibited porous microstructure with the highest char yield of 55.45 wt%.Furthermore,the as-prepared C/Fe hybrids from WCG-20-750 displayed excellent microwave absorption ***,the minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))reached to-52.86 dB and the widest effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)was 6.40 GHz at the thickness of 3.0 *** work provides an economically viable and environmentally friendly strategy to convert biomass wastes into value-added microwave absorbers,ultimately making contributions to the upcycling of renewable biomass resources and the fostering of sustainable environment.
