In this study,the anti-noise performance of a pulse-coupled neural network(PCNN)was investigated in the neutron and gamma-ray(n-γ)discrimination *** experiments were conducted in two *** the first group,radiation pulse signals were pre-processed using a Fourier filter to reduce the original noise in the signals,whereas in the second group,the original noise was left untouched to simulate an extremely high-noise *** each part,artificial Gaussian noise with different intensity levels was added to the signals prior to the discrimination *** the aforementioned conditions,the performance of the PCNN was evaluated and compared with five other commonly used methods of n-γdiscrimination:(1)zero crossing,(2)charge comparison,(3)vector projection,(4)falling edge percentage slope,and(5)frequency gradient *** experimental results showed that the PCNN method significantly outperforms other methods with outstanding FoM-value at all noise ***,the fluctuations in FoM-value of PCNN were significantly better than those obtained via other methods at most noise levels and only slightly worse than those obtained via the charge comparison and zerocrossing methods under extreme noise ***,the changing patterns and fluctuations of the FoMvalue were evaluated under different noise ***,based on the results,the parameter selection strategy of the PCNN was *** conclusion,the PCNN method is suitable for use in high-noise application scenarios for n-γdiscrimination because of its stability and remarkable discrimination *** does not rely on strict parameter settings and can realize satisfactory performance over a wide parameter range.

Comprehensive Summary Carbon dioxide(CO_(2))capture is one of the most important aspects of reducing global *** terms of CO_(2)capture,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have several ***,it isn't easy to shape MOFs while maintaining their ***,we describe the development of a pellet-shaped ultramicroporous MOF,Ni(3-ain)2(3-ain=3-aminoinoisonicotinic acid),that is capable of selectively adsorbing CO_(2).Polyvinyl butyral(PVB)is used as a binder during the production of Ni(3-ain)2 MOF *** adequately shaped material can maintain its crystallinity and exhibit a high CO_(2)adsorption capacity(3.73 mmol·g^(-1))at ambient conditions,which is significantly greater than those obtained for N_(2)(0.63 mmol·g^(-1))and CO(0.90 mmol·g^(-1)).Consequently,this material displays high IAST selectivities for CO_(2)/N_(2)(26.3,15/85,V/V)and CO_(2)/CO(19.2,1/99,V/V).According to the theoretical calculations,Ni(3-ain)2 preferentially adsorbs CO_(2)molecules over N_(2)molecules and CO *** results of experiments on dynamic breakthrough have demonstrated that Ni(3-ain)2 pellets are capable of effectively separating CO_(2)/N_(2)or CO_(2)/CO mixtures under conditions of dynamic ***,the structured MOF materials can be synthesized in one step at kilogram *** work provides an avenue for the shaping of MOFs for potential industrial applications in the future.

The marine biological sonar system evolved in the struggle of nature is far superior to the current artificial sonar. Therefore, the development of bionic underwater concealed detection is of great strategic significance to the military and economy. In this paper, a generative adversarial network(GAN) is trained based on the dolphin vocal sound dataset we constructed, which can achieve unsupervised generation of dolphin vocal sounds with global consistency. Through the analysis of the generated audio samples and the real audio samples in the time domain and the frequency domain, it can be proven that the generated audio samples are close to the real audio samples,which meets the requirements of bionic underwater concealed detection.

In the semiconductor industry,recovering and capturing SF_(6)gas from the SF_(6)/N_(2)gas mixture has significant environmental and economic *** this work,two Ni-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),Ni(i-na)(bdc)_(0.5)(ina=isonicotinic acid,bdc=terephthalic acid)and methyl-functionalized Ni(3-min)(bdc)_(0.5)(3-min=3-methylisonicotinic acid),are constructed for SF_(6)***(ina)(bdc)_(0.5)and Ni(3-min)(bdc)_(0.5)are both highly stable nine-connected porous *** pore sizes of these two materials are similar,but the pore environments are different,which has a bearing on the performance of SF_(6)/N_(2)***(3-min)(bdc)0.s exhibits higher SF_(6)adsorption capacity(50.5 cm^(3)g^(-1))and IAST(ideal adsorbed solution theory)SF_(6)/N_(2)selectivity(91)owing to its smaller window diameter and suitable pore *** calculations indicate that the SF_(6)and N_(2)molecules interact with the framework at different cages,which reduces their competition for adsorption *** remarkable separation performance of Ni(ina)(bdc)_(0.5)and Ni(3-min)(bdc)_(0.5)is further verified by dynamic breakthrough ***,these two adsorbents have the potential to be utilized in industrial applications due to their excellent structural stability and recyclability.

Background West Nile virus (WNV), the most widely distributed flavivirus causing encephalitis globally, is a vector-borne pathogen of global importance. The changing climate is poised to reshape the landscape of various infectious diseases, particularly vector-borne ones like WNV. Understanding the anticipated geographical and range shifts in disease transmission due to climate change, alongside effective adaptation strategies, is critical for mitigating future public health impacts. This scoping review aims to consolidate evidence on the impact of climate change on WNV and to identify a spectrum of applicable adaptation *** body We systematically analyzed research articles from PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and EBSCOhost. Our criteria included English-language research articles published between 2007 and 2023, focusing on the impacts of climate change on WNV and related adaptation strategies. We extracted data concerning study objectives, populations, geographical focus, and specific findings. Literature was categorized into two primary themes: 1) climate-WNV associations, and 2) climate change impacts on WNV transmission, providing a clear understanding. Out of 2168 articles reviewed, 120 met our criteria. Most evidence originated from North America (59.2%) and Europe (28.3%), with a primary focus on human cases (31.7%). Studies on climate-WNV correlations (n = 83) highlighted temperature (67.5%) as a pivotal climate factor. In the analysis of climate change impacts on WNV (n = 37), most evidence suggested that climate change may affect the transmission and distribution of WNV, with the extent of the impact depending on local and regional conditions. Although few studies directly addressed the implementation of adaptation strategies for climate-induced disease transmission, the proposed strategies (n = 49) fell into six categories: 1) surveillance and monitoring (38.8%), 2) predictive modeling (18.4%), 3) cross-disciplinary collaboration (16.3%), 4)

Robots with transformable tracked mechanisms are widely used in complex terrains because of their high adaptability,and many studies on novel locomotion mechanisms have been conducted to make them able to climb higher *** underactuated transformable mechanisms for tracked robots could decrease the number of actuators used while maintaining the flexibility and obstacle-crossing capability of these robots,and increasing their cost ***,the underactuated tracked robots have appreciable research *** this paper,a novel tracked robot with a newly proposed underactuated revolute‒revolute‒prismatic(RRP)transformable mechanism,which is inspired by the sit-up actions of humans,was *** newly proposed tracked robot has only two actuators installed on the track pulleys for moving and does not need extra actuators for ***,it could concentrate the track belt’s tension toward one side,and the unbalanced tension would drive the linkage mechanisms to change its *** this method,the proposed underactuated design could change its external shape to create support points with the terrain and move its center of mass actively at the same time while climbing obstacles or crossing other kinds of terrains,thus greatly improving the climbing capability of the *** geometry and kinematic relationships of the robot and the crossing strategies for three kinds of typical obstacles are *** the basis of such crossing motions,the parameters of links in the robot are designed to make sure the robot has sufficient stability while climbing ***-crossing dynamic simulations were run and analyzed to prove the feasibility of the robot.A prototype was built and *** show that the proposed robot could climb platforms with heights up to 33.3%of the robot’s length or cross gaps with widths up to 43.5%of the robot’s length.

As one of the essential tools for spatio‒temporal traffic data mining,vehicle trajectory clustering is widely used to mine the behavior patterns of ***,uploading original vehicle trajectory data to the server and clustering carry the risk of privacy ***,one of the current challenges is determining how to perform vehicle trajectory clustering while protecting user *** propose a privacy-preserving vehicle trajectory clustering framework and construct a vehicle trajectory clustering model(IKV)based on the variational autoencoder(VAE)and an improved K-means *** the framework,the client calculates the hidden variables of the vehicle trajectory and uploads the variables to the server;the server uses the hidden variables for clustering analysis and delivers the analysis results to the *** IKV’workflow is as follows:first,we train the VAE with historical vehicle trajectory data(when VAE’s decoder can approximate the original data,the encoder is deployed to the edge computing device);second,the edge device transmits the hidden variables to the server;finally,clustering is performed using improved K-means,which prevents the leakage of the vehicle *** is compared to numerous clustering methods on three *** the nine performance comparison experiments,IKV achieves optimal or sub-optimal performance in six of the ***,in the nine sensitivity analysis experiments,IKV not only demonstrates significant stability in seven experiments but also shows good robustness to hyperparameter *** results validate that the framework proposed in this paper is not only suitable for privacy-conscious production environments,such as carpooling tasks,but also adapts to clustering tasks of different magnitudes due to the low sensitivity to the number of cluster centers.

This paper investigates the prescribed-time state-feedback stabilization and prescribed-time inverse optimality problems for stochastic high-order nonlinear systems. First, a time-varying controller is designed by developing scaled quartic Lyapunov functions, which can guarantee that the system has a unique strong solution almost surely on the prescribed interval for any system initial conditions and that the states and the control converge to the origin in a mean-square form within the prescribed time. Then, the controller is redesigned to address the problem of prescribed-time inverse optimal mean-square stabilization. Finally,a concrete example is provided to confirm the efficiency of the proposed design schemes.
