The utilization of single atoms(SAs)as trifunctional electrocatalyst for nitro-gen reduction,oxygen reduction,and oxygen evolution reactions(NRR,ORR,and OER)is still a formidable ***,we devise one-pot synthesized palladium SAs stabilized on nitrogen-doped carbon palladium SA electrocat-alyst(Pd-SA/NC)as efficient trifunctional electrocatalyst for NRR,ORR,and ***-SA/NC performs a robust catalytic activity toward NRR with faradaic efficiency of 22.5%at-0.25 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE),and the relative Pd utilization efficiency is enhanced by 17-fold than Pd-NP/*** addition,the half-wave potential reaches 0.876 V versus RHE,amounting to a 58-time higher mass activity than commercial Pt/***,the overpotential at 10 mA cm-2 is as low as 287 mV for Pd-SA/NC,outperforming the commer-cial IrO2 by 360 times in turnover frequency at 1.6 V versus ***,the assembled rechargeable zinc-air battery(ZAB)achieves a maximum power den-sity of 170 mW cm-2,boosted by 2.3 times than Pt/C–*** constructed ZABs efficiently power the NRR-OER system to electrochemically generate ammonia implying its superior trifunctionality.

Flavonoid extracts from chrysanthemum with appropriate anthocyanins turn blue when exposed to iron ions

Although some species that accumulate only cyanidin(Cy)in nature can produce blue flowers through iron ions,there has been no evidence of blue chrysanthemums being generated in this *** study revealed that flavonoid extracts from the ray florets of the chrysanthemum cultivar‘Wandai Fengguang’turned blue when exposed to Fe^(3+).Samples that could turn blue were labeled as CB(Cy-determined blue flowers),while samples that did not turn blue were labeled as CN(Cy-determined non-blue flowers).After a series of experiments,a stable screening system was established using flavonoid extracts containing NaAc buffer at pH 5.5 and a total anthocyanin concentration(TAC)of 30 μmol·L^(-1),and the addition of Fe^(3+)from 0 to 0.25 μmol·L^(-1)allowed for the selection of five CB samples from 39 chrysanthemum *** five CB samples exhibited flower color phenotypes that belonged to Cluster-I with redness(a*)values ranging from 29.03 to 45.99,yellowness(b*)values from-11.31 to 3.77,and brightness(L*)values from 29.07 to ***,the ratio of TAC to total luteolin concentration(TLC)was found to be a critical factor for distinguishing between CB and CN *** realize the desired blue hue in the flavonoid extracts with the participation of Fe^(3+),a TAC to TLC ratio of 2.25 and above is ***,the protoplasts and ray florets of CB samples that turned blue with the involvement of Fe^(2+)showed great potential for cultivating blue chrysanthemums through ferric-anthocyanin ***,this study reveals that blue flowers can be cultivated through the increase in the iron ion concentration,combined with the accumulation of Cy.

Add-on perceptual learning on refractive amblyopia in children

MAD2L2 overexpression attenuates the effects of TNF-α-induced migration and invasion capabilities in colorectal cancer cells

Global cooling began since 50 Ma,but a warm climate was maintained in the archipelagic tectonic system in Southeast Asia where a wealth of Cenozoic oil and gas resources was formed and *** the perspective of Earth system,this study analyzes Cenozoic tectonic activities,climatic and environmental evolution,and petroleum enrichment in Southeast Asia,and provides the following insights:(1)Subduction of oceanic plates and the extension of overlying continental lithosphere resulted in widespread volcanic eruptions as well as the formation of rift basins and shallow marine shelves,leading to complex interactions between deep tectonic processes and Earth’s surface including mountains,basins,and seas.(2)Microcontinental accretion and prolonged stay in equatorial low-latitude regions have changed trade winds into monsoons,altered ocean current pathways and flow rates,and profoundly affected rainfall and climate.(3)The archipelagic tectonic system,coupled with a hot and rainy climate,fostered tropical rainforests,mangroves,and phytoplankton,providing abundant organic matter and promoting the development of petroleum resources.(4)Combinations of rift basin development and marine transgression and regression led to an effective superposition of source-reservoir-seal combinations from multiplepetroleum *** deep burial of organic matter and high geothermal gradients facilitated the generation and large-scale accumulation of oil and gas.(5)multi-spherical(such as atmosphere,biosphere,hydrosphere and lithosphere)interactions on the Earth,which resulted from the convergence of multiple tectonic plates,are believed as the primary driver for exceptional enrichments of Cenozoic oil and gas resources in Southeast *** understandings are significant for developing theories of oil and gas enrichment under the guidance of Earth System *** order to continue making significant oil and gas exploration discoveries in the deep-layers,deep-waters,and unconventio

Objective: Patients with radioactive iodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer(RAIR-DTC) are often diagnosed with delay and constrained to limited treatment options. The correlation between RAI refractoriness and the underlying genetic characteristics has not been extensively ***: Adult patients with distant metastatic DTC were enrolled and assigned to undergo next-generation sequencing of a customized 26-gene panel(Thyro Lead). Patients were classified into RAIR-DTC or non-RAIR groups to determine the differences in clinicopathological and molecular characteristics. Molecular risk stratification(MRS) was constructed based on the association between molecular alterations identified and RAI refractoriness, and the results were classified as high, intermediate or low ***: A total of 220 patients with distant metastases were included, 63.2% of whom were identified as RAIRDTC. Genetic alterations were identified in 90% of all the patients, with BRAF(59.7% vs. 17.3%), TERT promoter(43.9% vs. 7.4%), and TP53 mutations(11.5% vs. 3.7%) being more prevalent in the RAIR-DTC group than in the non-RAIR group, except for RET fusions(15.8% vs. 39.5%), which had the opposite pattern. BRAF and TERT promoter are independent predictors of RAIR-DTC, accounting for 67.6% of patients with RAIR-DTC. MRS was strongly associated with RAI refractoriness(Pmutations being the predominant contributors, followed by TP53 and DICER1 mutations. MRS might serve as a valuable tool for both prognosticating clinical outcomes and directing precision-based therapeutic interventions.

Protective effect of Fu Brick tea on high-fat diet-induced metabolic syndrome: Relevant to protecting the intestinal barrier and regulating the gut microbiota

This study investigated the therapeutic effects on metabolic syndrome (MetS) and the impact on the intestinal barrier and gut microbiota of Fu brick tea aqueous extracts (FTE) on metabolic syndrome (MetS) in rats fed with a high-fat diet (HFD). Here， the results showed that FTE supplement significantly reduced HFD-induced weight gain， adiposity， dyslipidemia， fasting blood glucose (PBG) increment， and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Moreover， FTE supplement resulted in a decline in lipopolysaccharide (LPS) level and attenuation of colonic inflammation and oxidative stress to protect the intestinal barrier function. FTE supplement also maintained the intestinal barrier integrity by improving histological appearance and promoting ZO-1， Occludin， and Claudin-1 protein expression levels. Meanwhile， FTE supplement alleviated the gut microbiota dysbiosis by enhancing the Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes (F/B) ratio and stimulating the colonization of probiotic bacteria such as Akkermansia， Lactobacillus， Adlercreutzia， and Bacteroides. These findings collectively suggest that Fu brick tea could alleviate MetS and Mets-associated traits with the mechanism relevant to the protection of intestinal barrier and gut microbiota regulation.
