Multi-Scale Pore Structure Heterogeneity in Tuff Reservoirs Investigated with Multi-Experimental Method and Fractal Dimensions in chang 7 Formation,Southern Ordos Basin

The tight tuff reservoir is an unusual type of unconventional reservoir with strong ***,there is a lack of research on the microscopic pore structure that causes the heterogeneity of tuff *** the chang 7 Formation in Ordos Basin,china as a case study,carbon-dioxide gas adsorption,nitrogen gas adsorption and high-pressure mercury injection are integrated to investigate the multi-scale pore structure characteristics of tuff ***,the fractal dimension is introduced to characterize the complexity of pore structure in tuff *** this multi-experimental method,the quantitative characterizations of the full-range pore size distribution of four tuff types were obtained and compared in the size ranges of micropores,mesopores and *** dimension curves derived from full-range pores are divided into six segments as D1,D2,D3,D4,D5 and D6 corresponding to fractal characteristics of micropores,smaller mesopores,larger mesopores,smaller macropores,medium macropores and larger macropores,*** macropore volume,average macropore radius and fractal dimension D5 significantly control petrophysical *** larger macropore volume,average macropore radius and D5 correspond to favorable pore structure and good reservoir quality,which provides new indexes for the tuff reservoir *** study enriches the understanding of the heterogeneity of pore structures and contributes to unconventional oil and gas exploration and development.

Plant cuticles repress organ initiation and development during skotomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis

After germination in the dark,plants produce a shoot apical hook and closed cotyledons to protect the quiescent shoot apical meristem(SAM),which is critical for seedling survival during *** factors that coordinate these processes,particularly SAM repression,remain *** cuticles,multilayered structures of lipid components on the outermost surface of the aerial epidermis of all land plants,provide protection against desiccation and external environmental *** and how cuticles regulate plant development are still ***,we demonstrate that mutants of BODYGUARD1(BDG1)and long-chain acyl-CoA synthetase2(LACS2),key genes involved in cutin biosynthesis,produce a short hypocotyl with an opened apical hook and cotyledons in which the SAM is activated during *** signaling represses expression of BDG1 and LACS2,as well as cutin *** analysis revealed that cuticles are critical for skotomorphogenesis,particularly for the development and function of *** and molecular analyses showed that decreased HOOKLESS1 expression results in apical hook opening in the *** hypoxia-induced expression of LITTLE ZIPPER2 at the SAM promotes organ initiation in the mutants,the de-repressed expression of cell-cycle genes and the cytokinin response induce the growth of true *** results reveal previously unrecognized developmental functions of the plant cuticle during skotomorphogenesis and demonstrate a mechanism by which light initiates photomorphogenesis through dynamic regulation of cuticle synthesis to induce coordinated and systemic changes in organ development and growth during the skotomorphogenesis-to-photomorphogenesis transition.

Preliminary analyses of the dynamics and thermodynamics of rotating regular black holes

We investigate the dynamic and thermodynamic laws governing rotating regular black *** analyzing dynamic properties,i.e.,the interaction between scalar particles and rotating regular black holes,we establish the criteria that determine whether such black holes satisfy the laws of *** addition,we provide the general form of conserved quantities related to rotating regular black holes,including the relevant flows associated with neutral scalar ***,we reexamine the relationship between the third law of thermodynamics and weak cosmic censorship conjecture for rotating regular black *** on the abovementioned criteria,we discuss the laws of thermodynamics for three models of rotating regular black holes:Rotating Hayward black holes,Kerr black-bounce solutions,and loop quantum gravity black *** findings indicate that none of the three models satisfies the first law of *** particular,the first and third models fail to comply with the three laws of thermodynamics,whereas the second model satisfies only the second and third laws of ***,we attempt to rescue the laws of thermodynamics by modifying entropy or extending the phase ***,the two scenarios cannot ensure the three laws of thermodynamics in the three models,which reveals an unusual property of rotating regular black holes.

Mechanical and damping performances of TPMS lattice metamaterials fabricated by laser powder bed fusion

Lattice metamaterials based on three-period minimum surface(TPMS)are an effective means to achieve lightweight and high-strength materials which are widely used in various fields such as aerospace and ***,its vibration and noise reduction,and damping properties have not been fully ***,in this study,the TPMS structures with parameterization were designed by the method of surface migration,and the TPMS structures with high forming quality was manufactured by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF).The mechanical properties and energy absorption characteristics of the beam and TPMS structures were studied and compared by quasi-static *** modal shapes of the beam lattice structures and TPMS structures were obtained by the free modal analysis,and the damping properties of two structures were obtained by modal *** the two structures after heat treatment with the same porosity of 70%,the yield strength of the beam lattice structure reaches 40.76 MPa,elastic modulus is 20.38 GPa,the energy absorption value is 32.23 MJ·m^(-3),the damping ratio is 0.52%.The yield strength,elastic modulus,energy absorption value,and damping ratio of the TPMS structure are 50.74 MPa,25.37 GPa,47.34 MJ·m^(-3),and 0.99%,*** results show that TPMS structures exhibit more excellent mechanical properties and energy absorption,better damping performance,and obvious advantages in structural load and vibration and noise reduction compared with the beam lattice structures under the same porosity.

Achieving a high color rendering index(CRI)and luminous stability in single-structured Ce:Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12)(Ce:YAG)phosphor ceramics(PCs)is crucial for high-power white light-emitting diodes or laser diodes(LEDs/LDs).However,cyan valleys and insufficient amounts of the red component in the Ce:YAG emission spectra significantly limit their real *** this work,a series of Ce,Mn:Y_(3)(Al,Sc)_(2)Al_(3)O_(12)(Ce,Mn:YSAG)PCs were fabricated by vacuum sintering,and efficient spectral regulation was realized for full-color *** cyan valley was filled by the blueshifted emission peak of Ce^(3+)via Sc^(3+)*** orange‒red emission at approximately 580 nm was effectively supplemented via Mn^(2+)*** particular,CRI of Ce,Mn:YSAG increased from 56.4 to 85.8,a 52%increase compared with that of Ce:YAG under high-power LED excitation,and the operating temperature was stable at approximately 50℃for long working ***,CRI of 80.9 could still be obtained for PC-based white *** results indicated that Ce,Mn:YSAG PC,which has excellent CRI and luminous stability,is an extremely promising color convertor for high-power white LEDs/LDs.

On the topological surface states of the intrinsic magnetic topological insulator Mn-Bi-Te family

We review recent progress in the electronic structure study of intrinsic magnetic topological insulators（MnBi2Te4）·（Bi2Te3）n（n = 0, 1, 2, 3） family. Specifically, we focus on the ubiquitously（nearly）gapless behavior of the topological Dirac surface state observed by photoemission spectroscopy, even though a large Dirac gap is expected because of surface ferromagnetic order. The dichotomy between experiment and theory concerning this gap behavior is perhaps the most critical and puzzling question in this frontier. We discuss various proposals accounting for the lack of magnetic effect on the topological Dirac surface state, which are mainly categorized into two pictures, magnetic reconfiguration and topological surface state redistribution. Band engineering towards opening a magnetic gap of topological surface states provides great opportunities to realize quantized topological transport and axion electrodynamics at higher temperatures.

The shuttle effect of polysulfides is one of the key factors hindering the commercialization of lithiumsulfur batteries(LSBs).Owing to their high conductivity and advantageous structure,heterostructures can be used in sulfur fixation and catalysis of *** this study,a flower-shaped ZnO/ZnS heterostructure on a nitrogendoped porous carbon(NPC) sulfur host was *** ZnO/ZnS heterostructure regulates the electronic structure of the material and exhibits higher metal-like ***,the ZnO/ZnS heterostructure combines the strong adsorption property of ZnO and the high catalytic ability of ZnS to realize the anchoring-diffusionconversion of lithium poly sulfides(LiPSs).Results reveal that the developed ZnO/ZnS@NPC/S cathode has excellent electrochemical performance in LSBs,achieving a high discharge specific capacity of 1365.3 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1C and excellent rate capability(719 mAh·g^(-1) at 2C;the capacity decay rate is only 0.042% per cycle after 1000 cycles).Even under a high sulfur loading-E/S(electrolyte/sulfur)ratio of 5.1 mg·cm^(-2)-6 μl·mg^(-1),a high specific capacity of 723.7 mAh·g^(-1) is maintained after 60 *** study provides a new strategy for a multifunctional sulfur host that can effectively alleviate the shuttle effect of LiPSs and improve the utilization of sulfur active substances.

Effect of heat treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of selective laser-melted PH13-8Mo stainless steel

PH13-8Mo stainless steel powder with high sphericity and well fluidity was prepared by the plasma rotating electrode *** formed parts with ultra-high purity were manufactured by selective laser *** tensile and impact mechanical properties of the printed parts under three heat treatment regimes were compared to those without heat *** microstructure,grain orientation and phase composition were characterized by electron-backscatter diffraction,X-ray diffraction and transmission electron *** characterization results reveal that the addition of heat treatment makes the grains enlarge,and after different heat treatments,the average grain size from 1.51μm in the printed state increases to 2.78,3.09 and 2.06μm,*** formed parts are mainly composed of martensite and retained ***,the NiAl and M23C precipitates form,which are the major strengthening phases of PH13-8Mo stainless *** optimal heat treatment process is 925℃×1 h water cooling(WC)+0℃×2 h air cooling(AC)+540℃×4 h *** this heat treatment process,PH13-8Mo formed parts have the optimal comprehensive mechanical properties:the tensile strength,yield strength and impact energy KU2 are 1492 MPa,1432 MPa and 63 J,*** strengthening and toughening via heat treatment are mainly attributed to dislocation strengthening,the formation of NiAl and M23Co precipitates and the change of volume fraction of the retained austenite.

Reversible data hiding is a confidential communication technique that takes advantage of image file characteristics,which allows us to hide sensitive data in image *** this paper,we propose a novel high-fidelity reversible data hiding *** on the advantage of the multipredictor mechanism,we combine two effective prediction schemes to improve prediction *** addition,the multihistogram technique is utilized to further improve the image quality of the stego ***,a model of the grouped knapsack problem is used to speed up the search for the suitable embedding bin in each *** results show that the quality of the stego image of our scheme outperforms state-of-the-art schemes in most cases.
