Defects engineering is an effective strategy for manipulating electromagnetic parameters and enhancing electromagnetic wave（EMW） absorption ***,the relationship between them is not clear,especially in solid solution *** this work,a series of(Cr1-xVx)2AlC MAX phase solid solutions with layered structure were prepared via tuning the ratio of Cr and V to explore their EMW absorption *** experimental results indicated that the doping of V atoms at the M-site could effectively regulate its impedance matching and EMW absorption properties by introducing appropriate numbers of defects in the crystal,such as twin boundaries,dislocations and lattice *** them,if Cr:V=3:1,Cr1.5V0.5AlC,as radar absorption materials,could reach a strong reflection loss of-51.8 dB at the frequency of 12.8 GHz under an ultra-thin thickness of 1.3 *** reflection loss value could attain-10 dB in a wide frequency range of 2.7-18 GHz and thickness range of 1-5 *** addition,after high temperature and acid-alkali immersion treatment,this sample still had good EMW absorption capability,and the effective absorption bandwidth was enhanced from 2.3 to 2.6 GHz after concentrated acid immersion or 3.1 GHz after concentrated alkali *** work has great reference significance for the research and development of high-performance MAX-based EMW absorption materials in harsh environments.

目的探讨米诺地尔在大鼠胸主动脉血管平滑肌细胞衰老过程中的作用及其相关分子机制。方法体外培养大鼠原代胸主动脉血管平滑肌细胞,随机分为对照组、衰老组[2μmol/L血管紧张素Ⅱ(AngⅡ)诱导血管平滑肌细胞]、药物组(2μmol/L AngⅡ+1 mmol/L米诺地尔处理血管平滑肌细胞)。采用β半乳糖苷酶染色检测各组细胞衰老水平,运用CCK-8检测各组细胞增殖情况,Western blot法检测细胞衰老相关蛋白P53、P16、P21、血管细胞黏附分子1(VCAM-1)、细胞间黏附分子1(ICAM-1)及信号通路相关蛋白腺苷酸活化蛋白激酶(AMPK)、磷酸化AMPK和沉默信息调节因子1(SIRT1)蛋白表达,用相应试剂盒检测各组细胞内细胞氧化应激指标活性氧(ROS)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性。结果与对照组比较,衰老组细胞染色阳性率明显增高[(48.30±2.48)%vs(3.89±1.03)%],A值(1.64±0.17 vs 2.41±0.26)明显降低(P<0.05),P53蛋白、P16蛋白、P21蛋白、VCAM-1、ICAM-1表达显著增加(P<0.05),ROS荧光强度明显增加,CAT、SOD活性明显降低(P<0.05),磷酸化AMPK和SIRT1蛋白表达降低(P<0.05)。与衰老组比较,药物组细胞染色阳性率明显降低(P<0.05),细胞增殖水平显著增强(P<0.05),P53蛋白、P16蛋白和P21蛋白明显降低,ROS荧光强度明显降低,CAT、SOD活性明显增加(P<0.05),磷酸化AMPK和SIRT1蛋白增加(P<0.05)。结论米诺地尔减轻了AngⅡ诱导的血管平滑肌细胞衰老,同时促进了AMPK/SIRT1信号通路的激活。

Two gene clusters and their positive regulator SlMYB13 that have undergone domestication-associated negative selection control phenolamide accumulation and drought tolerance in tomato

Among plant metabolites,phenolamides,which are conjugates of hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives and polyamines,play important roles in plant adaptation to abiotic and biotic ***,the molecular mechanisms underlying phenolamide metabolism and regulation as well as the effects of domestication and breeding on phenolamide diversity in tomato remain largely *** this study,we performed a metabolite-based genome-wide association study and identified two biosynthetic gene clusters(BGC7 and BGC11)containing 12 genes involved in phenolamide metabolism,including four biosynthesis genes(two 4CL genes,one C3H gene,and one CPA gene),seven decoration genes(five AT genes and two UGT genes),and one transport protein gene(DTX29).Using gene co-expression network analysis we further discovered that SlMYB13 positively regulates the expression of two gene clusters,thereby promoting phenolamide *** and physiological analyses showed that BGC7,BGC11 and SlMYB13 enhance drought tolerance by enhancing scavenging of reactive oxygen species and increasing abscisic acid content in *** variation analysis suggested that BGC7,BGC11 and SlMYB13 were negatively selected during tomato domestication and improvement,leading to reduced phenolamide content and drought tolerance of cultivated ***,our study discovers a key mechanism of phenolamide biosynthesis and regulation in tomato and reveals that crop domestication and improvement shapes metabolic diversity to affect plant environmental adaptation.

A novel AH-D-A-type phase junction material to improve photovoltaic performance and device stability in fullerene OSCs

In order to boost power conversion efficiency(PCE) and operation stability of organic solar cells(OSCs),we propose a new idea of phase junction materials(PJMs) used as a photoactive layer component to improve device performance and *** this purpose,a novel PJM of H-TRC8 based on rhodanine unit was designed with a conjugated AH-D-A ***,AH is a hydrogen-donating electron acceptor unit,D-A is an electron donor-acceptor *** is found that H-TRC8 has a good carriertransporting ability,as well as definite hydrogen-bond and D-A interaction with donor/acceptor *** H-TRC8 is added into the PBDB-T/PC60BM blend film with 1.0 vol% DIO(1,8-diiodooctane),the resulting blend film exhibited an enhanced absorption and improved *** intermolecular hydrogen bond between H-TRC8 and PBDB-T plays an important role for them,which is confirmed via FT-IR spectra and 2D 1H *** a result,the PBDB-T/PC60BM-based devices with 1.25 wt%H-TRC8 and 1.0 vol% DIO exhibit a significantly improved PCE of 8.06%,which is increased by 20.6% in comparison to that in the binary devices with 1.0 vol% DIO only(PCE=6.68%).Furthermore,the device stability is significantly enhanced with only 43% PCE roll-off at 150℃ for 120 *** work indicates that AH-D-A-type PJMs are promising photovoltaic materials used as photoactive-layer components to achieve high-performance fullerene OSCs with high device stability.

Washed microbiota transplantation for Crohn’s disease:A metagenomic,metatranscriptomic,and metabolomic-based study

BACKGROUND Fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)is a promising therapeutic approach for treating Crohn’s disease(CD).The new method of FMT,based on the automatic washing process,was named as washed microbiota transplantation(WMT).Most existing studies have focused on observing the clinical ***,the mechanism of action of FMT for the effective management of CD-particularly in-depth multi-omics analysis involving the metagenome,metatranscriptome,and metabolome-has not yet been *** To assess the efficacy of WMT for CD and explore alterations in the microbiome and metabolome in response to *** We conducted a prospective,open-label,single-center clinical *** CD patients underwent *** clinical responses(defined as a decrease in their CD Activity Index score of>100 points)and their microbiome(metagenome,metatranscriptome)and metabolome profiles were evaluated three months after the *** Seven of the 11 patients(63.6%)showed an optimal clinical response three months *** microbiome diversity significantly increased after WMT,consistent with improved clinical *** of the metagenome and metatranscriptome analyses revealed consistent alterations in certain strains,such as Faecalibac-terium prausnitzii,Roseburia intestinalis,and Escherichia *** addition,metabolomics analyses demonstrated that CD patients had elevated levels of various amino acids before treatment compared to the ***,levels of vital amino acids that may be associated with disease progression(e.g.,L-glutamic acid,gamma-glutamyl-leucine,and prolyl-glutamine)were reduced after *** WMT demonstrated therapeutic efficacy in CD treatment,likely due to the effective reconstruction of the patient’s ***-omics techniques can effectively help decipher the potential mechanisms of WMT in treating CD.

Hydralazine represses Fpn ubiquitination to rescue injured neurons via competitive binding to UBA52

A major impedance to neuronal regeneration after peripheral nerve injury (PNI) is the activation of various programmed cell death mechanisms in the dorsal root ganglion. Ferroptosis is a form of programmed cell death distinguished by imbalance in iron and thiol metabolism, leading to lethal lipid peroxidation. However, the molecular mechanisms of ferroptosis in the context of PNI and nerve regeneration remain unclear. Ferroportin (Fpn), the only known mammalian nonheme iron export protein, plays a pivotal part in inhibiting ferroptosis by maintaining intracellular iron homeostasis. Here, we explored in vitro and in vivo the involvement of Fpn in neuronal ferroptosis. We first delineated that reactive oxygen species at the injury site induces neuronal ferroptosis by increasing intracellular iron via accelerated UBA52-driven ubiquitination and degradation of Fpn, and stimulation of lipid peroxidation. Early administration of the potent arterial vasodilator, hydralazine (HYD), decreases the ubiquitination of Fpn after PNI by binding to UBA52, leading to suppression of neuronal cell death and significant acceleration of axon regeneration and motor function recovery. HYD targeting of ferroptosis is a promising strategy for clinical management of PNI.

Physiological response of four wolfberry (Lycium Linn.) species under drought stress

We studied gas-exchange, chlorophyll pigments, lipid peroxidation, antioxidant enzymes, and biomass partitioning responses in seedlings of four wolfberry species （Lycium chinense Mill. var. potaninii （Pojark.） A. M. Lu, Lycium chinense Mill., Lycium barbarum L., and Lycium yunnanense Kuang ＆ A. M. Lu） under four water supply regimes. In all four species, drought affected seedlings in terms of chlorophyll content, net photosynthesis rate （Pn）＇ transpiration rate （E）, and lipid peroxidation. Drought also increased some antioxidant enzyme activities, such as peroxidase （POD）, catalase （CAT）, superoxide dismutase （SOD）, and ascorbate peroxidase （APX）. Significant changes in dry biomass partitioning also occurred in response to water stress. In particular, dry biomass of leaves and fruits decreased significantly. L. chinense Mill. and L. barbarum L. possessed greater drought tolerance and exhibited superior antioxidant processing ability and other related physiological traits compared to the other two species. L. chinense Mill. was the most tolerant to all levels of drought. In contrast,L, yunnanense Kuang ＆ A. M. Lu was more affected by water supply and had the lowest resistance to drought stress. These findings would provide some important information regarding genetic resources for future forest tree improvement in relation to drought tolerance.
