Deep learning has recently become a viable approach for classifying Alzheimer's disease(AD)in medical ***,existing models struggle to efficiently extract features from medical images and may squander additional information resources for illness *** address these issues,a deep three‐dimensional convolutional neural network incorporating multi‐task learning and attention mechanisms is *** upgraded primary C3D network is utilised to create rougher low‐level feature *** introduces a new convolution block that focuses on the structural aspects of the magnetORCID:ic resonance imaging image and another block that extracts attention weights unique to certain pixel positions in the feature map and multiplies them with the feature map ***,several fully connected layers are used to achieve multi‐task learning,generating three outputs,including the primary classification *** other two outputs employ backpropagation during training to improve the primary classification *** findings show that the authors’proposed method outperforms current approaches for classifying AD,achieving enhanced classification accuracy and other in-dicators on the Alzheimer's disease Neuroimaging Initiative *** authors demonstrate promise for future disease classification studies.

Efficient Channel Estimation Techniques for MIMO systems with 1-Bit ADC

With a low resolution 1-bit ADC on its receiver(RX) side, MIMO with 1-bit ADC took a considerable step in the fulfillment of the hardware complexity constrains of the internet of things(IoT) PHY layer design. However, applying 1-bit ADC at MIMO RX results in severe nonlinear quantization error. By which, almost all received signal amplitude information is completely distorted. Thus, MIMO channel estimation is considered as a major barrier towards practical realization of 1-bit ADC MIMO system. In this paper, two efficient sparsity-based channel estimation techniques are proposed for 1-bit ADC MIMO systems, namely the low complexity sparsity-based channel estimation(LCsCE), and the iterative adaptive sparsity channel estimation(IAsCE). In these techniques, the sparsity of the 1-bit ADC MIMO channel is exploited to propose a new adaptive and iterative compressive sensing(Cs) recovery algorithm to handle the 1-bit ADC quantization effect. The proposed algorithms are tested with the state-of-the-art 1-bit ADC MIMO constant envelope modulation(MIMO-CEM). The 1-bit ADC MIMO-CEM system is chosen as it fulfills both energy and hardware complexity constraints of the IoT PHY layer. simulation results reveal the high effectiveness of the proposed algorithms in terms of spectral efficiency(sE) and computational complexity. The proposed LCsCE reduces the computational complexity of the 1-bit ADC MIMO-CEM channel estimation by 86%, while the IAsCE reduces it by 96% compared to the recent techniques of MIMO-CEM channel estimation. Moreover, the proposed LCsCE and IAsCE improve the spectrum efficiency by 76 % and 73 %, respectively, compared to the recent techniques.

Thyroid hormones play essential roles in spermatogenesis,but their effects on infertile males remain poorly *** study aimed to evaluate the impact of combining carbimazole(CBZ)with vitamin E(VE)on testicular injury induced by experimental hyperthyroidism in adult albino rats,focusing on oxidative,inflammatory,and apoptotic *** this experimental study,64 adult male albino Wistar rats were divided into eight groups:Group I(control-untreated),Group II(CBZ-control),Group III(VE-control),Group IV(CBZ+VE-control),Group V(levothyroxine-induced testicular injury),Group VI(levothyroxine+CBZ-treated),Group VII(levothyroxine+VE-treated),and Group VIII(levothyroxine+CBZ+VE-treated).The study was conducted in the Faculty of Medicine,suez Canal University(Ismailia,Egypt).After cervical decapitation,both testes and epididymis were examined histopathologically and *** differences were observed among groups concerning malondialdehyde(MDA),glutathione(GsH),superoxide dismutase(sOD),and catalase(CAT;all Pse chain reaction analysis showed significant differences in tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-10(IL-10),Bcl-2-associated X protein(BAX),B-cell lymphoma 2 protein(Bcl2),p53,Caspase-3,Caspase-8,Caspase-9,and nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)mRNA levels(all Psticular side effects,affecting seminiferous tubules and ***,the Group VIII showed improved spermatogenesis and a decrease in testicular side *** addition of VE to the treatment of hyperthyroid rats with CBZ reduced testicular side effects and seminiferous tubular affection when potentially improving *** research is needed to elucidate the underlying mechanisms fully.

Mass Increase with strong and Gravitational Potentials, and Mass Defect with Electromagnetic Potential

The proposal is “mass increases due to strong and gravitational potentials, while it decreases due to Electromagnetic potential”. This proposal explains the big difference in mass between hadrons (protons, neutrons, & mesons) and their components (quarks), mass difference between nucleus and its individual components (protons and neutrons), massless of gamma photons, abnormal masses of mesons and bosons, and the excess in galaxy masses (dark matter). Also, this proposal shows the exact relation between mass and energy: strong Potential=−3.04mc2| Electric Potential |=−5.57×10−3mc2Gravitational Potential=−1.22×10−7mc2where m represents the excess in mass due to strong potential, or gravitational potential and represents the decrease in mass due to electromagnetic potential. Released energy here equals potential energy and doesn’t equal decrease in mass using the formula E = mc2. Released energy is transferred to heat, photons, kinetic energy… Finally, proposal will try to describe the relation between photon energy and mass of its components using the general equation of kinetic energy: Photon Energy=1/2mc2m is the sum of the individual masses of its components, while the total mass of photon is zero.

Novel design of a compact tunable dual band wireless power transfer(TDB-WPT)system for multiple WPT applications

In this study we present the design and realization of a tunable dual band wireless power transfer(TDB-WPT)coupled resonator *** frequency response of the tunable band can be controlled using a surface-mounted *** transmitter(Tx)and the receiver(Rx)circuits are *** top layer contains a feed line with an impedance of 50Ω.Two identical half rings defected ground structures(HR-DGss)are loaded on the bottom using a varactor *** propose a solution for restricted WPT systems working at a single band application according to the operating *** effects of geometry,orientation,relative distance,and misalignments on the coupling coefficients were *** validate the simulation results,the proposed TDB-WPT system was fabricated and *** system occupied a space of 40 mm×40 *** can deliver power to the receiver with an average coupling efficiency of 98%at the tuned band from 817 to 1018 MHz and an efficiency of 95%at a fixed band of 1.6 GHz at a significant transmission distance of 22 *** results of the measurements accorded well with those of an equivalent model and the simulation.

In this study,we conducted a search for dark matter using a part of the data recorded by the CMs experiment during run-I of the LHC in 2012 with a center of mass energy of 8 TeV and an integrated luminosity of 11.6 fb−*** data were gathered from the CMs open *** matter,in the framework of the simplified model(mono-Z′),can be produced from proton-proton collisions in association with a new hypothetical gauge boson,Z′.Thus,the search was conducted in the dimuon plus large missing transverse momentum *** benchmark scenario of mono-Z′,which is known as light vector,was used for interpreting the CMs open *** evidence of dark matter was observed,and exclusion limits were set on the masses of dark matter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

Fuel cell stack design and modelling with a double-stage boost converter coupled to a single-phase inverter

A comprehensive proton-exchange membrane fuel cell stack model was developed and integrated with a two-stage DC/DC boost converter. It was directly coupled to a single-phase (two levels-four pulses) inverter without a transformer. The pulse-width modulation signal was used to independently regulate every converter phase. The converter was modelled using a MATLAB (R)/simulink (R) environment and an appropriate voltage control method. The analysis features of the suggested circuit were created and, through established experiments, the simulation results were verified. A single-phase (two levels-four pulses) inverter control circuit was tested and it produced a pure sinusoidal waveform with voltage control. It matches the voltage of the network in terms of amplitude and frequency. A sinusoidal pulse-width modulation approach was performed using a single-phase (two levels-four pulses) pulse-width modulation inverter. The results demonstrated an enhancement in the standard of the output wave and tuned the dead time with a reduction of 63 mu s compared with 180 mu s in conventional techniques. A comprehensive model of a proton-exchange membrane fuel cell stack is integrated with a single-phase (two levels-four pulses) inverter without a transformer. Pulse-width modulation is used to independently regulate every converter phase. As a result, the dead time is reduced compared to conventional techniques. Graphical Abstract

Chikungunya virus(CHIKV),transmitted by arthropods,has gained global recognition for its impact on public *** has expanded globally,including Africa,Asia,and the Indian subcontinent,and has a helicase protein in its genome that is crucial for its ***,the study targeted the helicase protein of CHIKV with 745 antiviral compounds using an ML-based QsAR model and molecular *** binders(5279172,78161839,6474310,and 5330286)were selected for MD simulation based on the control(silvestrol).All compounds had the highest binding scores,with 78161839 showing the most consistent RMsD and the least conformational variation,indicating high *** also showed the lowest binding free energy(ΔG¼31.31 kcal/mol),indicating energetically favourable *** and FEL also depicted the stable complex confirmation of the protein and 78161839 complex during the 100 ns ***,this study aimed to identify helicase function antiviral binders that could be experimentally tested for treating CHIKV.
