Over 2 billion people worldwide are estimated to have nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(nAFLD),defined by excess hepatic ***,progression into nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(nASH)is characterized by the onset of liver inflammation following exacerbated steatosis.1 This suggests that reduc.n. liver inflammation(*** lifestyle interventions involving exercise training)may come sec.n.ary to a reduction of ***,both the metabolic and inflammatory processes involved in nAFLD are under circadian c.n.rol and could respond differently to exercise at different times of day.2 To investigate the time-of-day–dependent effect of exercise training on nAFLD amelioration in the early disease stages we trained high-fat high-cholesterol(HFHc)-fed APOE*3-Leiden cholesteryl ester transfer protein(cETP)mice during their early or late active *** mouse model was chosen because of its humanized lipid metabolism and its ability to develop all hallmarks of human nAFLD upon HFHc feeding.

Interpreting a myocardial inflammation as causal,c.n.ributory or as of no signific.n.e at all in the cause of death c.n.be challenging,especially in cases where other pathologic and/or medico-legal findings are also *** further evaluate the signific.n.e of myocardial inflammation as a cause of death we performed a retrospective cohort study of forensic and clinical autopsy *** revised the spectrum of histological inflammatory parameters in the myocardium of 79 adult autopsy cases and related these to the reported cause of *** slides were reviewed for the distribution and intensity of inflammatory cell infiltrations,the predominant inflammatory cell type,and the presence of inflammation-associated myocyte injury,fibrosis,edema and ***,the cases were divided over three groups,based on the reported cause of *** 1(n=27)c.n.isted of all individuals with an obvious unnatural cause of *** 2(n=29)included all individuals in which myocarditis was interpreted to be one out of more possible causes of *** 3(n=23)c.n.isted of all individuals in which myocarditis was reported to be the only signific.n. finding at autopsy,and no other cause of death was *** application of our histological parameters showed that only a diffuse increase of inflammatory cells could discriminate between an incidental presence of inflammation(group 1)or a potentially signific.n. one(groups 2 and 3).no other histological parameter showed signific.n. differences between the *** results suggest that generally used histological parameters are often insufficient to differentiate an incidental myocarditis from a(potentially)signific.n. one.

目前关于奶牛妊娠-泌乳周期乳腺细胞更新的相关调节机制还不清除,只是已知一些蛋白质与乳腺细胞增殖、凋亡、分化、细胞存活和组织重塑等调节通路有关,而此试验的目的即研究编码这些蛋白质的基因的表达情况。选择10头奶牛,在其妊娠-泌乳周期进行了7次乳腺活组织检查,所取样品分别进行免疫组织化学和实时PcR分析,结果表明干奶期细胞增殖程度最高,而凋亡只是在干奶初期和泌乳初期较高;根据Fas、Fas配体、半胱天冬酶3、8和9的基因表达情况,没有发现外在和内在凋亡通路之间存在依赖性转移;干奶期和泌乳初期mgST的基因表达没有显著变化,然而Bcl2和Bax的表达量最大,且此时细胞更新的程度也较高;早期应答基因c-Fos、c-Jun和c-myc的表达与细胞增殖率、IgF-I和胰岛素的血浆浓度无关;nFκB和nFκB抑制因子α的基因表达在围产期达到最大,且nFκB的基因表达与细胞存活因子的预期需要同步;TgF-β受体1和2mRnA的表达在泌乳初期最大,然而TgF-β1在妊娠-泌乳周期没有显著变化,虽然我们的结果与其他研究不一致,但是TgF-β受体的基因表达模式在泌乳初期具有调节凋亡的作用;STAT5在围产期表达较高,这表明其可调节乳腺细胞的增殖和分化,组织纤维蛋白溶酶原激活剂、纤维蛋白酶原激活抑制剂-1和胰岛素样生长因子结合蛋白5基因的表达在泌乳初期最高,表明胰岛素样生长因子结合蛋白5对组织重塑和细胞凋亡具有协调调节的作用。

The present study was carried out in Tungnath alpine meadows of Kedarnath Wild Life Sanctuary, Western Himalaya from subalpine to upper alpine zone. A total of four summits were selected along an altitudinal gradient and sampled for detailed vegetation analysis using multi summit approach as per global observation research initiative in alpine environments(gLORIA). Species ric.n.ss, diversity, and evenness among four summits as well as the interaction between environmental variables with plant communities were assessed. monthly mean soil temperature was calculated using data retrieved from.g.o-precision temperature logger in order to identify the trend of soil temperature among different season and altitudinal gradient and its implications to plant communities. Soil samples were analyzed fromeach summit by collecting randomized composite soil samples. The indirect non-metric multidimensional scaling(nmDS) and direct c.n.nical correspondence analysis(ccA) tools of ordination tec.n.ques to determine the linkage between plant species from various sample summits and biotic/abiotic environmental gradients were used in the present study. The results of the study demonstrated increase in species ric.n.ss as soil temperature increases, the ecotone representing summits were found most warm summits followed by highest species ric.n.ss. Annual soil temperature increased by 1.43°c at timberline ecotone. Whereas, at upper alpine zone the soil temperature increased by 0.810 c from year 2015 to 2016. S?rensen's similarity index was found to be increased between subalpine and upper alpine zone with increase in the presence of subalpine plant species at upper alpine zone. Both the ordination tools separate the subalpine summit and their respective vegetation from summits representingtimberline ecotone and upper alpine zone. Soil p H, altitude, soil cation exchange capacity were found as the key abiotic drivers for distribution of plant species.

Drosophila melanogaster is often used as a model organism in evolution- ary biology and ecophysiology to study evolutionary processes and their physiological mechanisms. Diets used to feed Drosophila cultures differ between laboratories and are often nutritious and distinct from food sources in the natural habitat, Here we rear D. melanogaster on a standard diet used in our laboratory and a field diet composed of decomposing apples collected in the field. Flies developed on these two diet compositions are tested for heat, cold, desiccation, and starvation resistance as well as developmental time, dry body mass and fat perc.n.age. The nutritional compositions of the standard and field diets were analyzed, and discussed in relation to the phenotypic observations. Results showed marked differences in phenotype of flies from the two types of diets. Flies reared on the field diet are more starvation resistant and they are smaller, leaner, and have lower heat resistance compared to flies reared on the standard diet. Sex specific effects of diet type are observed for several of the investigated traits and the strong sexual dimorphism usually observed in desiccation resistance in D. melanogaster disappeared when rearing the flies on the field diet. Based on our results we c.n.lude that care should be taken in extrapolating results from one type of diet to another and especially from laboratory to field diets.
