A febrile and unconscious man was sent to our emergency department. On physical examinations, some dark red ecchymosis/discoloration over the trunk and track mark in the left-sided groin region were seen. Brain CT scan showed septic emboli complicated with hemorrhage. Chest X-ray revealed pulmonary emboli. Aortic valve vegetation was found by echocardiography. Although aggressive treatment and resuscitation were taken, he died of methicillin-sensitiveStaphylococcus aureus sepsis and multiple organ failure. Intravenous drug users are susceptible to right-sided infective endocarditis. In our case, left-sided infective endocarditis with lung and brain embolism resulting in fatality was relatively uncommon. Review of literature was also made for this article.

A 42-year-old man presented with a two-year history of progressive dysphagia and hoarseness. Esophagogram and endoscopy revealed submucosal mass effect on the upper esophagus. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed an elongated mass in the retrotracheal region of the lower neck with extension to the posterior mediastinum. Partial tumor resection and histopathological evaluation revealed a WHO type B2 thymoma. Adjuvant radiation and chemotherapy were subsequently administered resulting in complete tumor regression. To our knowledge, this is the first report of ectopic retrotracheal thymoma with clinical and imaging manifestations mimicking those for esophageal submucosal tumor.

Flexible and easily reconfigurable supercapacitors show great promise for application in wearable electronics. In this study, multiwall C nanotubes （CNTs） decorated with hierarchical ultrathin zinc sulfide （ZnS） nanosheets （ZnS@CNT） are synthesized via a facile method. The resulting ZnS@CNT electrode, which delivers a high specific capacitance of 347.3 F·g^-1 and an excellent cycling stability, can function as a high-performance electrode for a flexible all-solid-state supercapacitor using a polymer gel electrolyte. Our device exhibits a remarkable specific capacitance of 159.6 F·g^-1, a high energy density of 22.3 W·h·kg^-1, and a power density of 5 kW·kg^-1 It also has high electrochemical performance even under bending or twisting. The all-solid-state supercapacitors can be easily integrated in series to power different commercial light-emitting diodes without an external bias voltage.

BACKGROUND For the treatment of gastritis,rebamipide,a mucoprotective agent,and nizatidine,a gastric acid suppressant,are commonly employed *** To compare the efficacy of Mucotra®SR(rebamipide 150 mg)and Axid®(nizatidine 150 mg)combination therapy with the sole administration of Axid®in managing erosive *** A total of 260 patients diagnosed with endoscopically confirmed erosive gastritis were enrolled in this open-label,multicenter,randomized,phase 4 clinical trial,allocating them into two groups:Rebamipide/nizatidine combination twice daily vs nizatidine twice daily for 2 *** full-analysis set analysis encompassed 239 patients(rebamipide/nizatidine,n=121;nizatidine,n=118),while the per-protocol analysis included 218 patients(n=110 vs 108).Post-treatment assessments comprised primary(erosion improvement rate)and secondary(erosion and edema cure rates,erythema improvement rates,hemorrhage,and gastrointestinal symptoms)***,drug-related adverse effects were *** Primary efficacy assessment showed a statistically significant improvement rate in mucosal erosions in the combination group compared to the control group in the full-analysis set(rebamipide/nizatidine 62.0%,nizatidine 49.2%,P=0.046),with a similar trend noted in the per-protocol analysis(62.7%vs 50.0%,P=0.058).Both groups were effective in curing erosion and edema and improvement of bleeding,erythema,and gastrointestinal symptoms,whereas no inter-group differences were *** confined to the participants with gastritis symptoms,improvement of erosion was more optimal in the combination group(63.0%vs 49.5%,P=0.046).No adverse events related to the drugs were *** Rebamipide/nizatidine combination is effective in treatment of erosive gastritis.

针对目前铝电解行业对于槽似在电阻的采集不够准确并且延时较高的问题,本文提出一种基于卡尔曼滤波的区间式槽似在电阻采集算法。该算法以卡尔曼滤波为基础,用预测值与采样值的均方差表征它们的高斯白噪声功率,使其能够在电阻平稳的状态下有着较强的跟踪性能;再结合一阶惯性滤波的强滤波特性和卡尔曼滤波的强跟踪优势,设置适用的滤波区间,确保组合算法在槽似在电阻波动较大的情况下能够滤除掉噪声的影响,并在电解槽稳定后能对槽似在电阻进行快速收敛跟踪。结果表明:与一阶惯性滤波相比,改进后的卡尔曼滤波在电阻平稳的状态下其均方根误差减少50%,在电解槽反生针振和摆动情况之后的收敛时间减少90%。

AIM:To verify that CD markers are available for detecting cancer stem cell populations and to evaluate their clinical significance in colon ***:Immunohistochemistry for CD133,CD24 and CD44 was performed on the tissue microarray of 523 colorectal *** records were reviewed and clinicopathological analysis was ***:In colorectal adenocarcinoma,128 of 523 cases(24.5%) were positive and 395 cases(75.5%) were negative for CD133 *** hundred and sixty-four of 523 cases(50.5%) were positive and 259 cases(49.5%) were negative for CD24 *** hundred and two of 523 cases(96%) were negative and 21 cases(4%) were positive for CD44 *** clinicopathological analysis,CD133 expression was present more in male patients(P = 0.002) and in advanced T stage cancer(P = 0.024).Correlation between CD24 expression and clinicopathological factors was seen in the degree of differentiation(P = 0.006).Correlation between CD44 expression and clinicopathological factors was seen in the tumor size(P = 0.001).Survival was not significantly related to CD133,CD24 and CD44 ***:CD markers were related to invasiveness and differentiation of colorectal ***,CD expression was not closely related to survival.

目的:比较加替沙星在正常与肝损害模型家犬体内的药动学。方法:家犬腹腔注射四氯化碳溶液,建立肝损害模型;给药后分别在规定时间点取样,以高效液相色谱法测定各时间点加替沙星血药浓度,利用3p87软件计算其药动学参数,并与正常家犬比较。结果:加替沙星在正常家犬与肝损害模型家犬体内分布均呈一室模型,tmax分别为(2．35±0．75)h、(1．06±0．32)h,t1／2ke分别为(8．38±2．03)h、(8．91±1．21)h,Cmax分别为(2．29±0．11)、(2．63±0．07)mg／L,AUC分别为(33．82±6．78)、(36．80± 4．67)(μg·h)／ml,经t检验无显著性差异(P>0．05)。结论:加替沙星在正常与肝损害模型家犬体内药动学比较无显著性影响。

目的观察Hedgehog信号传导通路相关基因在肿瘤组织中的表达，及其特异性抑制剂Cyclopamine对肿瘤细胞增殖、凋亡的影响。方法免疫组织化学法检测80例人口腔鳞癌组织中Hedgehog信号传导通路成员Shh、Smo、Ptch、Gli-1表达；CCK8法检测对HSQ．89细胞增殖的影响；AnnexinV-PI双染流式细胞仪检测Cyclopamine对HSQ-89细胞凋亡的影响；逆转录-聚合酶链反应（RT-PCR）检测Cyelopamine处理后HSQ-89细胞凋亡相关蛋白表达变化。结果Hh家族成员Shh、Smo、Ptch、Gli-1在80例口腔鳞癌中的表达率分别为：61．25％、56．25％、47．50％、53．75％，明显高于正常人；在低分化或发生淋巴结转移的病例中表达更高。Cyelopamine可抑制HSQ-89细胞增殖及诱导凋亡，且抑制效应呈浓度依赖性。Cyclopamine（0、5、10、20、40、80μmol／L）作用下，细胞增殖抑制率分别为0、3．0％、4．5％、28．2％、51．2％、62．7％，凋亡率分别为3．01％、3．36％、5．70％、9．42％。经Cyclopamine处理后HSQ-89细胞中bcl-2表达下降，bcl-xL、Bid等表达不变。结论口腔鳞癌组织中Hedgehog信号转导通路有多种基因异常表达增高，Cyclopamine可通过抑制bcl-2表达而发挥抑制癌细胞增殖、诱导凋亡效应。
