A respiratory monitoring system was proposed based on optical *** sensor consists of photonic crystal fiber(PCF)spliced with multimode fiber(MMF)to fabricate Michelson *** sensor is inserted into an oxygen mask tube and then put on the nose and mouth to monitor the respiratory rate(RR)for different *** results showed that when breathing increased,the intensity of light *** intensity of light in the sleeping case of breathing was more intense than that when the intensity of working sport was *** working sport case was a higher transmittance than that of *** sensitivity of the sensor was also measured to be 231.9 pm/RH.

Mosquito-borne diseases(MBDs),like malaria and mosquito-borne viruses(MBVs),have caused the deaths of millions of *** threat resides in the variety of transmission modes that they possess,along with the wide selection of favorable hosts,such as humans,cattle,and *** are increasingly gaining a reputation as one of the most dangerous threats to public health in recent *** numbers have been increasing in recent years as a result of multiple factors such as climate change and *** situation highlights the urgent need for actions to mitigate mosquito and MBD pathogen *** the Middle East,many outbreaks of MBDs have been reported in the ***,there are no reports of any endemic episodes of *** Middle East has faced many challenges over the years;however,the Syrian refugee crisis may be strongly related to the spread of infectious *** mass gatherings and high-density populations are common features in the region,it is possible to understand why MBDs can spread *** review summarizes the state of MBDs in the Middle East,highlighting the different types of MBDs that have been reported in the region and discussing how to move forward with controlling their spread and limiting the risks they *** to the data reported by the electronic State Parties Self-Assessment Annual Reporting Tool(e-SPAR),the capacity to anticipate MBVs varies among Middle East ***,the Middle East is on the frontline in the challenge to control a potential public health ***,the countries of the Middle East should be encouraged to improve their health and research capacities to mitigate the threat posed by MBDs.

Cadmium“Cd”is a toxic pollutant that may present in soil and *** work evaluates:i)the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs“NSAIDs”-bearing water for washing soil containing Cd(Ⅱ),ii)removal of Cd(Ⅱ)from NSAID-bearing water by adsorption onto magnetic graphene oxide which can be easily separated by strong *** studied NSAIDs are aspirin,ketoprofen,ibuprofern and *** Cd(Ⅱ)-NSAIDs complexes were synthesized and characterized by *** was initially oxidized by either nitric acid,or ammonium persulphate method,or Hummer's *** was then deposited on graphene oxide to give the corresponding magnetic graphene oxides(NA-MGo,APSMGo and Hum-MGo,respectively).The effect of the following factors on Cd(Ⅱ)uptake was investigated:NSAIDs type,pH,graphene oxidation method,magnetite:graphene oxide mass ratio in the adsorbent,(Cd(Ⅱ):NSAID)molar *** Cd(Ⅱ)uptake was achieved using“magnetic graphene oxidized with ammonium persulphate where the mass ratio of magnetite to graphene oxide was 2:1”in the presence of diclofenac at *** best Cd(Ⅱ):diclofenac molar ratio was 1:*** maximum adsorption capacity of Cd(Ⅱ)was found to be 83 mg L*** regeneration of the adsorbent was possible by 0.3 M HNo3 solution and 80%of adsorption efficiency was maintained after five *** presence of coexisting ions,80%of the adsorption efficiency was *** NSAIDs-containing waters were used for washing Cd-containing soil;the maximum removal efficiencies of Cd were 18%and 16%using 5 mM diclofenac or 10 mM aspirin,*** diclofenac or aspirin-spiked real pharmaceutical wastewater gave 28%removal of *** optimum adsorption method was used for removal of Cd(Ⅱ)from diclofenac-containing soil-washing water,where two successive adsorptions were needed for complete Cd uptake.

The present study aimed to predict differential enrichment of pathways and compounds in the rhizosphere microbiomes of the two wild plants(Abutilon fruticosum and Nitrosalsola vermiculata)and to predict functional shifts in microbiomes due to *** sequencing of 16S rRNA region V3–V4 was done and gene-based microbial compositions were enrolled in PICRUSt to predict enriched pathways and *** results indicated that“ABC transporters”and“Quorum sensing”pathways are among the highest enriched pathways in rhizosphere microbiomes of the two wild plants compared with those of the bulk soil *** highest enriched compounds in soil microbiomes of the two wild plants included five proteins and three enzymes participating in one or more KEGG *** of these eight compounds showed higher predicted enrichment in rhizosphere soil microbiomes,while only one,namely phosphate transport system substrate-binding protein,showed higher enrichment in the surrounding bulk soil *** terms of differentially enriched compounds due to watering,only the dual-specific aspartyl-tRNA(Asn)/glutamyl-tRNA(Gln)amidotransferase subunit A showed higher enrichment in rhizosphere soil of the two wild plants after 24 h of *** of the highly enriched compounds namely branched-chain amino acid transport system ATP-binding protein and branched-chain amino acid transport system substrate-binding protein,are encoded by genes stimulated by the plant’s GABA that participates in conferring biotic and abiotic stresses in plants and improves the plant’s growth *** 3-oxoacyl-[ACP]reductase,a member of the short-chain alcohol dehydrogenase/reductase(SDR)superfamily,participates in fatty acids elongation cycles and contributes to plant-microbe symbiotic relationships,while enoyl-CoA hydratase has a reverse action as it participates in“Fatty acid degradation”*** methyl-accepting chemotaxis protein is an environmental signal that sense“Bacteri
