The Zhujiang River(the Pearl River) is a major contributor of riverine discharge to South China Sea and has received great attention in carbon cycling study for recent *** explore the relations between riverine carbon and impacting factors for the xijiang drainage basin,the major subsystem of the Zhujiang River,this study employed a partial least square(PLS) regression model with Geographic Information System(GIS) and Matlab *** this model,specific spatial relations of the factors respecting the processes of riverine dissolved inorganic carbon(DIC) are addressed,including the effects of upper river on the lower river,tributaries on the stem river,and the effects of spatial accumulation and *** results indicate that the lithologic type of the exposed bedrocks defined by their easiness for chemical weathering is the dominant factor that is positively correlated with riverine DIC in all the three tributaries,the Gujiang,Hejiang and xijiang *** altitude is the second important positive *** activity (represented by per capita GDP and population density) is negatively related to riverine DIC,with a moderate importance in the Guijiang and xijiang,and a least importance in the Hejiang *** use(net primary production,NPP) and soil type(defined by carbon content) show relatively small influences on DIC,with a positive correlation in Hejiang and xijiang,and a negative correlation in *** is negatively correlated to DIC in the whole xijiang,but has no significant influence on DIC in the Guijiang and *** results may provide important clues for understanding the geochemical processes of the riverine DIC associated with the environmental factors.

Secure beamforming and deployment design for rate-splitting multiple access-based UAV communications

Most Chinese rivers have experienced great changes in discharge and sediment during the past 50 years. This study attempts to examine the long-term dynamics of riverine carbon flux in the xijiang River by applying the relationships between riverine carbon concentrations and discharge or sediment to the historical discharge and sediment *** show that POC(particulate organic carbon) flux in the xijiang has experienced a decreasing trend,caused by reduced sediment ***,DOC (dissolved organic carbon) shows an increasing *** activities including reservoir/dam construction and domestic/agricultural effluents may intensify the upward trend of ***(dissolved inorganic carbon) shows a declining trend with a very small *** of DIC accords well with discharge/*** total carbon flux,a more or less constant,or very small decreasing trend is displayed.

Rate-splitting multiple access(RSMA) has recently gained attention as a potential robust multiple access(MA)scheme for upcoming wireless networks. Given its ability to efficiently utilize wireless resources and design interference management strategies, it can be applied to unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) networks to provide convenient services for large-scale access ground users. However, due to the line-of-sight(LoS) broadcast nature of UAV transmission, information is susceptible to eavesdropping in RSMA-based UAV networks. Moreover, the superposition of signals at the receiver in such networks becomes complicated. To cope with the challenge, we propose a two-user multi-input single-output(MISO) RSMA-based UAV secure transmission framework in downlink communication networks. In a passive eavesdropping scenario, our goal is to maximize the sum secrecy rate by optimizing the transmit beamforming and deployment location of the UAV-base station(UAV-BS),while considering quality-of-service(QoS) constraints, maximum transmit power, and flight space limitations. To address the non-convexity of the proposed problem, the optimization problem is first decoupled into two subproblems. Then, the successive convex approximation(SCA) method is employed to solve each subproblem using different propositions. In addition, an alternating optimization(AO)-based location RSMA(L-RSMA) beamforming algorithm is developed to implement joint optimization to obtain the suboptimal solution. Numerical results demonstrate that(1) the proposed L-RSMA scheme yields a28.97% higher sum secrecy rate than the baseline L-space division multiple access(SDMA) scheme;(2) the proposed L-RSMA scheme improves the security performance by 42.61% compared to the L-non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA) scheme.

Tunnel junctions, Ta (5 nm)/Ni79/Fe21 (3 nm)/Cu (20 nm)/Ni79/Fe21 (3 nm)/Ir22/Mn78 (10 nm)/Co75/Fe25/ (4 nm)/Ni79/Fe21 (4 nm)/Ni79/Fe21/(20 nm)/Ta (5 nm) wherein d=1.3 and 0.8 nm, with small active area from 100×100 down to 3×3 μm2 were fabricated using a micro-fabrication technique. The optical lithography combined with Ar ion-beam etching and CF4 active etching was used to pattern the junction area. A thin barrier layer and a short plasma-oxidation time for Al-oxide layer were used in order to reduce the junction resistance and increase the TMR ratio. The optimum annealing temperature and time for the highest TMR obtained were investigated to be around 300°C for an hour in this work. TMR ratio, effective barrier height and width, and breakdown voltage of the junctions can be remarkably enhanced upon annealing. High TMR ratio of 49.7% at room temperature and 69.1% at 4.2 K were achieved. TMR ratio and resistances decrease with increasing dc bias voltage from 0 to 1000 mV or with increasing temperature from 4.2 K to room temperature.

In practical applications, pieces of evidence originated from different sources might be modeled by different uncertainty theories. To implement the evidence combination under the Dempster–Shafer evidence theory (DST) framework, transformations from the other type of uncertainty representation into the basic belief assignment are needed. α-Cut is an important approach to transforming a fuzzy membership function into a basic belief assignment, which provides a bridge between the fuzzy set theory and the DST. Some drawbacks of the traditional α-cut approach caused by its normalization step are pointed out in this paper. An improved α-cut approach is proposed, which can counteract the drawbacks of the traditional α-cut approach and has good properties. Illustrative examples, experiments and related analyses are provided to show the rationality of the improved α-cut approach. © 2016 Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics

One of the primary goals of space-borne gravitational wave detectors is to detect and analyze extreme-mass-ratio inspirals(EMRIs). This task is particularly challenging because EMRI signals are complex, lengthy, and faint. In this work, we introduce a2-layer convolutional neural network(CNN) approach to detect EMRI signals for space-borne detectors, achieving a true positive rate(TPR) of 96.9% at a 1% false positive rate(FPR) for signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) from 50 to 100. Especially, the key intrinsic parameters of EMRIs such as the mass, spin of the supermassive black hole(SMBH) and the initial eccentricity of the orbit can also be inferred directly by employing a neural network. The mass and spin of the SMBH can be determined at 99% and 92% respectively. This will greatly reduce the parameter spaces and computing cost for the following Bayesian parameter *** model also has a low dependency on the accuracy of the waveform model. This study underscores the potential of deep learning methods in EMRI data analysis, enabling the rapid detection of EMRI signals and efficient parameter estimation.

During data center operation,it generates a significant volume of low-grade waste *** recover waste heat,a coupled system including solar collector,double effect absorption refrigeration and organic Rankine cycle is *** system performance is analyzed in *** the organic Rankine cycle,five organic working fluids(R245fa,R245ca,R123,R11,and R113) are selected.R245fa,R113 and R245ca obtain the maximum net power output,thermal efficiency and exergy efficiency,*** the double effect absorption refrigeration system,the evaporation temperature,condensation temperature,and generation pressure affect the COP and exergy *** the generator pressure is unchanged,the COP increases with increasing evaporation temperature and decreasing condensation *** the COP reaches 1.3,the COP slightly decreases as the evaporation temperature or condensation temperature ***,the exergy efficiency of refrigeration systems exhibits the same trend as the COP,and the exergy efficiency maximum value appears at approximately 0.32.A new performance indicator,rPUE,was defined to evaluate the data center power utilization *** flow distribution ratio and heat source temperature were optimized with multi-objective *** the mass flow distribution rate is 0.6 and the heat source temperature is 441.5 K,rPUE and the total unit production costs of the system obtain the optimal solution.
