Treatment of large soft tissue vascular lesions remains one of the greatest challenges in modern plastic *** extent of the disease and the involved structures,but also the expectations of the patients are important in determining the way of *** effective management of hemangiomas and vascular malformations of the head and neck requires a team approach,in order to understand the biologic behavior of the lesion,complete the diagnostic studies necessary to define the area of involvement,and understand the benefits and limitations of interventional radiologic and surgical *** synthesis of this knowledge can help determine the best *** strategic plan and subsequent management of a 34-year-old Maori man with an extensive arteriovenous intraparotid malformation is presented.

＜正＞Invasive species are of intense concern,due both to their impacts on agricultural systems and to their capacity for environmental *** rates of range expansion after an invasion are essential to plan management strategies,however such predictions can be *** statistical models typically ignore environmental complexity and man-made features that can enhance or inhibit expansions since they appear to be computationally intractable under standard ***,simulation models can incorporate these forms of heterogeneity,but provide no statistical rigour and do not allow for parameter *** Bayesian Computation provides a means for dealing with computationally intractable likelihoods,and when considered as a fusion between statistical and simulation approaches,shows great promise in dealing with these kinds of *** demonstrate an Approximate Bayesian Computational approach to estimating the parameters of range expansions and show the utility of this approach for predicting rates of invasion under a climate change scenario.

＜正＞ Lysophosphatidic acid （LPA） refers to a family of phospholipid mediators that bind to G- protein- coupled receptors （LPA1. LPA2. LPA3）. This study evaluated the role of LPA in human breast cancer cells. Specifically, the effects of LPA antagonists on pro - mitogenic actions of epidermal growth factor （EOF） were investigated. Two human breast cancer cell lines were used. MCF - 7 and MDA - MB - 231. Both cell lines express mRNA for LPA1, LPA2, and LPA3. At 10mM. 18: 1 LPA enhances both directed （ chemotactic） and random （chemokinetic） migration of MDA - MB - 231 cells. Both MCF - 7 and MDA - MB - 231 cells generate LPA;LPA levels in medium are increased by exogenous 18:1 LPA and by EGF. MCF - 7 and MDA - MB - 231 cells proliferate in response to EGF and LPA. LPA and EGF also stimulate activation of Erk and Akt kinases in both cell lines. LPA- induced activations of Erk and Akt kinases. as well as proliferation, are inhibited by Ki16425 and VPC32183, antagonists for LPA1/LPA3. Kil6425 and VPC32183 also inhibit EGF- induced activation of Akt （MDA-MB-231 andMCF-7） and Erk （MCF-7）. These studies suggest a potential role for LPA as an autocrine mediator of mitogenic signaling in breast cancer cells.

Make the univent tube more effective in one lung ventilation

This brief report describes a simple way to improve the Univent tube in one lung ventilation. Modified connection tubing is applied, which make effective suction possible through the bronchial block port and deliberately collapses the non -dependent lung faster. It may help to shunt the blood to the dependent lung within a shorter period of time. This type of suction may also make it easier to remove blood or secretion within the bronchus of the nondependent lung.

Modeling the impact of changing sexual behaviors with opposite-sex partners and STI testing among women and men ages 15-44 on STI diagnosis rates in the United States 2012-2019

Objective:To estimate the potential contributions of reported changes in frequency of penile-vaginal sex(PVS),condom use and STI screening to changes in gonorrhea and chlamydial diagnoses from 2012 to ***:An agent-based model of the heterosexual population in the *** the STI *** was calibrated to 2012 diagnosis rates,testing,condom use,and frequency of *** used behaviors from the 2017-2019 NSFG,and we evaluated changes in diagnosis and incidence rates in ***:Higher testing rates increased gonorrhea and chlamydia diagnosis by 14%and 13%,respectively,but did not reduce *** frequency of PVS reduced the diagnosis rate for gonorrhea and chlamydia 6%and 3%respectively while reducing incidence by 10%and 9%*** condom use had negligible impact on diagnosis and ***:Understanding how changing behavior drives STI incidence is essential to addressing the growing *** in testing and frequency of PVS likely contributed to some,but not all,of the changes in *** research is needed to understand the context within which changing sexual behavior and testing are occurring.
