Deep Learning has been utilized in computer vision for object detection for almost a ***-time object detection for robotic inspection and harvesting has gained interest during this time as a possible technique for highqualitymachine assistance during agriculture *** utilize RGB and thermal images of chili peppers in an environment of various amounts of debris,pepper overlapping,and ambient lighting,train this dataset,and compare object detection *** are presented from the real-time and less than real-time object detection *** advanced deep learning algorithms,Mask-Regional Convolutional Neural Networks(Mask-RCNN)and You Only Look Once version 3(YOLOv3)are compared in terms of object detection accuracy and computational *** utilizing the YOLOv3 architecture,an overall training mean average precision(mAP)value of 1.0 is *** testing images from this model score within a range from 97 to 100%confidence levels in natural *** is shown that the YOLOv3 algorithm has superior capabilities to the Mask-RCNNwith over 10 times the computational speed on the chili ***,some of the RGB test images resulted in lowclassification scoreswhen heavy debris is present in the image.A significant improvement in the real-time classification scores was observed when the thermal images were used,especially with heavy debris *** found and report improved prediction scores with a thermal imagery dataset where YOLOv3 struggled on the RGB *** was shown that mapping temperature differences between the pepper and plant/debris can provide significant features for object detection in real-time and can help improve accuracy of predictionswith heavy debris,variant ambient lighting,and overlapping of *** addition,successful thermal imaging for real-time robotic harvesting could allow the harvesting period to become more efficient and open up harvesting opportunity in low light situations.

Objective: To molecularly identify Nosema species in provinces of Isfahan, Fars,Chaharmahal and ***: One hundred and eighty adult honey bees suspected with nosemosis from provinces of Fars(different counties), Isfahan, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari were tested. In order to determine the species of Nosema, previously developed PCR and primers based on 16 S r RNA gene were used. PCR products were puri fi ed and sent to the Korean company of Macrogen for ***: Only Nosema ceranae was determined in all samples based on their molecular profile. Sequences of the 16 S r RNA gene were sent to Gen Bank/NCBI(samples accession numbers KP318660–KP318663).Conclusions: This species currently exists in European honeybee apiaries of Apis mellifera in the studied provinces.

Scenario-based estimation of catchment carbon storage: linking multi-objective land allocation with InVEST model in a mixed agriculture-forest landscape

This study performed a scenario-based land allocation in a mixed agriculture-forest landscape in northern Iran to investigate how different land use policies contribute to changes in carbon *** pursuit of this goal,a temporal profile of the trade-off between the region’s land use land cover(LULC)classes was produced using Landsat image of the year *** weighted linear combination procedure was also used to map the suitability of land for agriculture,forest,urban,and rangeland based on ecological and socio-economic *** suitability maps were analyzed through the Multi-Objective Land Allocation procedure under five scenarios with differing areas devoted to each LULC to generate different patterns of LULC distribution in the *** addition,the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs(InVEST)model was used to estimate the potential of LULC classes in carbon *** amount of carbon storage differed significantly between the scenarios,ranging from 1.29 tons/ha/year when the majority of the land was devoted to agriculture(76%of the area)to 5.40 tons/ha/year when the landscape was dominated by forest(77%of the area).The extreme conditions presented in this research may not be as likely to occur,but opens a dialog between different stakeholders and informs of a probable trend of ecosystem service loss due to agricultural land expansion.

Effects of rates and time of zeolite application on controlling runoff generation and soil loss from a soil subjected to a freeze-thaw cycle

Many factors such as freeze-thaw(FT)cycle influence soil *** of soil amendments can play an important role on runoff time commencement(RT),volume(RV)and soil loss(SL)on soils subjected to FT ***,limited studies have been documented on this *** present study was therefore carried out under rainfall simulation circumstances to investigate the effect of different rates of zeolite ap-plication to control the effects of FT on basic hydrological variables such as runoff production and soil *** this attempt,the effect of application of different rates of 250,500 and 750 gm^(-2) of zeolite applied before,during and after the occurrence of FT cycle on RT,RV and SL was assessed in a completely randomized *** were set up in two categories ***(without zeolite application),and three rates and times of zeolite application in small 0.25 m-experimental plots in three *** results showed that application of zeolite had significant effects on hydrological behavior of soil induced by FT ***-plication rate of 750 gm^(-2) prior to FT cycle increased RT and reduced RV and SL at rates of 644%,68% and 91%,*** results also verified that zeolite could successfully mitigate the impacts of FT cycle on the main soil hydrological variables of soil profile induced by FT *** is accordingly recommended to employ zeolite as an effective amendment to control soil erosion in steep and degraded rangelands where surface soil is exposed to rainfall and runoff.

A unified approach to output synchronization of heterogeneous multi-agent systems via L2-gain design

In this paper, a unified design procedure is given for output synchronization of heterogeneous multi-agent systems （MAS） on communication graph topologies, using relative output measurements from neighbors. Three different control protocols, namely, full-state feedback, static output-feedback, and dynamic output-feedback, are designed for output synchronization. It is seen that a unified design procedure for heterogeneous MAS can be given by formulation and solution of a suitable local L2-gain design problem. Sufficient conditions are developed in terms of stabilizing the local agents＇ dynamics, satisfying a certain small-gain criterion, and solving the output regulator equations. Local design procedures are presented for each agent to guarantee that these sufficient conditions are satisfied. The proposed control protocols require only one copy of the leader＇s dynamics in the compensator, regardless of the dimensions of the outputs. This results in lower-dimensional compensators for systems with high-order outputs, compared to the p-copy internal model approach. All three proposed control protocols are verified using numerical simulations.

Anti-cancer effects of hydro-alcoholic extract of pericarp of pistachio fruits

Objective:To investigate the cytotoxicity and anti-cancer effects of hydro-alcoholic extract of pistachio pericarp on hepatocellular carcinoma cells(HepG2)and mouse fibroblast L929 cells as normal and control group ***:MTT assay was performed to investigate the cytotoxicity effects of the extract at 0-4 000μg/mL on the cells after 24 and48 *** expressions of some genes involved in apoptosis including Bax,Bcl-2 and P53were investigated by real time ***:Our results showed that after 24 and 48 hours of treatment of cells with this extract,the viability of HepG2 and L929 cells was ***,this extract had the cytotoxicity effect on both *** IC_(50) concentration of extract for HepG2 cells after 24 and 48 hours of treatment was 1 500 and 1 000μg/mL and for L929 cells was 2 000 and 1 500μg/mL,*** expressions of Bax and P53 genes were up-regulated after treatment in the HepG2 and L929 cells and the expression of Bcl-2gene was down-regulated after treatment of extract in HepG2 ***:According to the results of MTT assay and real time PCR,this extract can be considered as a potential candidate for use in the production of anti-cancer drugs for the treatment of patients with liver cancer in future.

Establishment of an early warning system for cutaneous leishmaniasis in Fars province, Iran

Objective:To establish an early warning system for cutaneous leishmaniasis in Fars province,Iran in ***:Time-series data were recorded from 29 201 cutaneous leishmaniasis cases in 25 cities of Fars province from 2010 to 2015 and were used to fit and predict the cases using time-series *** models were compared via Akaike information criterion/Bayesian information criterion statistics,residual analysis,autocorrelation function,and partial autocorrelation function sample/*** decide on an outbreak,four endemic scores were evaluated including mean,median,mean+ 2 standard deviations,and median+ interquartile range of the past five *** whose symptoms of cutaneous leishmaniasis began from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2015 were included,and there were no exclusion ***:Regarding four statistically significant endemic values,four different cutaneous leishmaniasis space-time outbreaks were detected in *** accuracy of all four endemic values was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:This study presents a protocol to set early warning systems regarding time and space features of cutaneous leishmaniasis in four steps:(i)to define endemic values based on which we could verify if there is an outbreak,(ii)to set different time-series models to forecast cutaneous leishmaniasis in future,(iii)to compare the forecasts with endemic values and decide on space-time outbreaks,and(iv)to set an alarm to health managers.
