Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)are ubiquitous environmental contaminants of growing concern due to their potential ecological and human health *** study presents a comprehensive assessment of PAHs contamination in the surface sediments of Burullus Lake,a vital and second largest delta lake in *** aim was to evaluate the eco-toxicity and potential health risks associated with the presence of these *** seven sediment samples were collected from various drains in the southern part of Burullus *** extraction method was employed to extract PAHs(16PAHs)from the sediment ***,target compounds were located using *** results showed that samples contained PAHs levels ranging from 0.038×10^(-6)to 0.459×10^(-6),which is considered heavily polluted by the european standard for PAHs ***,there was no apparent source of PAHs in the elKhashah drain or the Brinbal Canal,as HPLC found none of the *** most prevalent compound in sediment samples along the study area was *** diagnostic indices in the present study indicated that the hydrocarbons in the region originated from pyrolytic and man-made sources along the drains of Burullus *** principal component analysis(PCA)and diagnostic ratios revealed that coal combustion and pyrolytic sources were responsible for the PAHs contamination in the surface *** non-carcinogenic risk(HI),which is the product of the HQs for the adult and child populations,respectively,was *** values under 1,therefore,demonstrated that they had no carcinogenic effects on human *** and MeQs in the sediments of Burullus Lake do not have a cancer-causing impact on *** the safety of nearby wildlife,aquatic life,and people,all activities that raise petroleum hydrocarbon levels in Burullus Lake must be adequately regulated and *** to the ecological risk assessment,there is little chance that PAHs will be found

A New Approach for the Determination of Metronidazole Using Switchable Solvent Coupled with Au-MWCNTs-Modified electrochemical Sensor

In this work,a new liquid-phase microextraction method coupled with an electrochemical technique using a switchable solvent was proposed for the determination of *** extraction solvent used was dipropylamine(DPA),which exhibited switchable *** means that it can become miscible or immiscible when in contact with carboxylic acids in the aqueous *** metronidazole was then measured using a glassy carbon electrode that was modified with Au-multiwalled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs).The eff ect of diff erent parameters such as the type and amount of trigger,the addition of salt,and the volume of extraction solvent on the e fficiency of switchable hydrophilic solvent-based liquid-phase microextraction(SHS-LPMe)was investigated using the one-factor-at-a-time *** optimizing the conditions,the linear calibration curve was obtained in the concentration range of 0.005–250μmol/***,the limit of quantification(LOQ)of 0.005μmol/L and the limit of detection(LOD)of 0.0015μmol/L were obtained,respectively.

Powder bed fusion methods of additive manufacturing (AM) require consistent, reproducible, and uniform layers of powder for the reliable production of high-quality parts, where properties of powder are central to achieving this. Among these properties, powder flowability and spreadability play critical roles in determining the quality of these powder layers. While extensive research has been conducted on powder flow and spreading behaviour, and on their characterisation, there is little critical comparison and review of these terms in the context of AM. Such a review is necessary to further develop and enhance our comprehension of spreading dynamics and its relation to powder properties in AM systems. This review paper aims to build a coherent understanding of the correlation between powder characteristics and spreading in powder based additive manufacturing and its impact on manufactured parts. It highlights the current progress in comprehending spreading dynamics, the influence of powder characteristics, environmental conditions, spreading system, and the development of testing tools to assess powder spreadability. Furthermore, the paper critically discusses the challenge of finding appropriate quantitative metrics and recent advances in the use of standardised methods for evaluating powder spreadability. Objective:To examine light and heat effects on the morphological,histological,and micrometric structure of the prostate of ***:Thirty adult male rats were divided into three *** control group was kept under 20℃-22℃ and an artificial 12 h/12 h day/night cycle;the temperature group was under normal light and at(42±1)℃ heat for 4 to 5 h daily,and the light group was exposed to 8 h/16 h day/night cycle with 20℃-22℃.Rats were weighed five times(at the beginning of the study and every seven days).Five milliliters(mL)of their peripheral blood were *** tissue staining was performed using the hematoxylin-eosin(H&e)stain and periodic acid-Schiff(PAS).In the following,tissue and cellular reactions to the PAS were ***:Folds were located entirely on the surface of the anterior lobe and periphery of the other *** secretory units in the anterior lobe were more than the lateral lobe.A strong reaction of the secretory cells to the PAS was *** serum levels of the light group also significantly increased compared to the control group(Pe most histometric changes of the lobes were established in the lateral *** stress resulted in a significant decrease in testosterone levels and transformed prostate *** epithelium and parenchyma to scaffold ratio in the temperature group ***:Maximum and minimum changes in the ventral lobe happened under the ascent of temperature and light,*** ventral lobe in the study of prostatic hyperplasia should be more considered.
