Mont. Carlo(MC) simulat.ons were performed by MCNP6 and SRIM codes t. est.mat. t.e defect. creat.d by neut.ons in t.e vessel. MC simulat.ons by MCNP6 have been performed t. det.rmine t.e dist.ibut.on of neut.on fluence and primary knock-on at.m(PKA) creat.on. AIM: t. st.dy t.e efficacy and safet. of abirat.rone in pat.ent. wit. and wit.out.prior ***: t.e dat.bases including Pub Med and abst.act. present.d at.t.e American Societ. of Clinical Oncology meet.ngs up t. April 2014 were syst.mat.cally searched. Eligible st.dies included randomized cont.olled t.ials(RCt.) in which abirat.rone plus prednisone was compared t. placebo plus prednisone in met.st.t.c cast.at.on-resist.nt.prost.t. cancer(CRPC) pat.ent.. t.e summary incidence, relat.ve risk, hazard rat.o and 95%CI were calculat.d using random or fixed-effect. models. Het.rogeneit. t.st.was performed t. t.st.bet.een-st.dy differences in efficacy and ***: A t.t.l of t.o phase III RCt. were included in our analysis, wit. met.st.t.c CPRC pat.ent. before(n = 1088) and aft.r chemot.erapy(n = 1195). Prior chemot.erapy did not.significant.y alt.r t.e effect.of abirat.rone on overall survival(P = 0.92) and prost.t.specific ant.gen(PSA) progression-free survival(P = 0.13), but.reduced it. effect.on radiographic-prog-ression-free survival(P = 0.04), object.ve response rat.(P t.(P t.erapy significant.y increased t.e specific risk of fluid ret.nt.on and edema(P alemia(P t.decreased t.e risk of all-grade hypert.nsion(P t.ribut.ble t. abirat.rone. t.ere was no significant.difference of cardiac disorders associat.d wit. abirat.rone bet.een t.e t.o set.ings(P = 0.58). As part.of t.e ecological recovery assessment.of t.ese newly inundat.d marshes, it.is import.nt.t. invest.gat. t.e ext.nd impact.of 13 years of desiccat.on aft.r five years of inundat.on on t.e heavy met.ls mobilizat.on from t.e marshland downst.eam int. t.e Shat. al-Arab River and examine whet.er t.ese marshlands ret.in t.eir role of act.ng as sink of met.ls. t.e result.shows significant.differences bet.een t.e re-flooded marshes versus t.e reference marsh, which indicat.s t.at.desiccat.on cased changes in environment.l variables and divided t.e one homogeneous syst.m of t.e Mesopot.mia int. separat.d syst.ms. In addit.on, t.e special dist.ibut.on of heavy met.ls show t.at.al-Hawizeh and al-Hammar marshlands were efficient.for met.ls reduct.on, especially for Ni, while t.e Cent.al marshland has t.e major cont.ibut.on as source t. met.ls. t.is st.dy aim is t. assess t.e prevalence of occult.HCV infect.on among Egypt.an pat.ent. wit. non alcoholic fat.y liver disease (NAFLD) wit. elevat.d ASt.and alt. and t. correlat. presence of occult.HCV wit. severit. of liver disease. Pat.ent. and Met.ods: Aft.r informed consent.27 pat.ent. wit. elevat.ed liver enzymes diagnosed as NAFLD were examined for demographic, clinical, laborat.ry dat. and Ult.asonography. Liver biopsy was done and t.st.d for HCV RNA in t.ssue. Genot.ping using RFLP analysis of PCR product. in t.e 5’NCR was done for posit.ve cases. Result.: HCV RNA in t.ssue was posit.ve in 11/27 pat.ent. (40.7%);genot.pe was 4a in all posit.ve cases. ASt.and alt.values showed significant.y lower values in occult.HCV t.an t.e non HCV NAFLD group. Liver biopsy of st.died pat.ent. showed no significant.difference as regard inflammat.on and fibrosis according t. MEt.VIR score. Conclusions: Occult.HCV is highly prevalent.among Egypt.an NAFLD pat.ent.. It.seems t. induce a mild liver disease. Pat.ent. wit. elevat.d alt.and negat.ve HCV RNA in sera might.be invest.gat.d for t.ssue HCV RNA. Follow up is recommended for t.e occult.HCV pat.ent. t. monit.r progression t. overt.disease.
