Polyaniline was synthesized chemically in an acidic medium in the presence of Ammonium Peroxydisulphate(APS) as an oxidizing agent. PANI(Polyaniline) nanocomposites were prepared in the presence of various amount of carbon nanotube and zinc oxide(from 1 to 5 wt%) by solution casting method. The free-standing film of polyaniline and its nanocomposites were obtained by vaporization of solvent content. The composition,morphology and structure of the polymer and the nanocomposites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy FT-IR spectra, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) image and XRD pattern. In addition,thermal stability was studied by TGA analysis, electrical conductivity was measured by four-point probe technique and mechanical properties were studied by tensile strength test. The characteristic FTIR peaks of PANI were found to shift to lower wave number in nanocomposites due to the formation of H-bonding. XRD results revealed that the crystallinity of PANI was more noticeable after addition of nano-ZnO, while the intensity of the peaks increased by the addition of ZnO nanoparticles. Furthermore, TGA results showed that the decomposition of the nanocomposite was less than that of pure polyaniline which confirms the successful fabrication of products. Young's modulus and strength at break point were increased in the case of the nanocomposite, in addition, the electrical conductivity of the PANI/ZnO nanocomposite film was found to be smaller than that of the PANI film while CNTs increase the conductivity of polyaniline.

Dust storms in arid and desert areas affect radiation budget,air quality,visibility,enzymatic activities,agricultural products and human *** to increased drought and land use changes in recent years,the frequency of dust storms occurrence in Iran has been *** study aims to identify dust source areas in the Sistan watershed(Iran-Afghanistan borders)-an important regional source for dust storms in southwestern Asia,using remote sensing(RS)and bivariate statistical ***,this study determines the relative importance of factors controlling dust emissions using frequency ratio(FR)and weights of evidence(WOE)models and interpretability of predictive models using game *** this purpose,we identified 211 dust sources in the study area and generated a dust source distribution map-inventory map-by dust source potential index based on RS *** addition,spatial maps of topographic factors affecting dust source areas including soil,lithology,slope,Normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI),geomorphology and land use were *** performance of two models(WOE and FR)was evaluated using the area under curve(AUC)of the receiver operating characteristic *** results showed that soil,geomorphology and slope exhibited the greatest influence in the dust source *** 55.3%(according to FR)and 62.6%(according to WOE)of the total area were classified as high and very high potential dust sources,while both models displayed acceptable accuracy with subsurface levels of 0.704 for FR and 0.751 for WOE,although they predict different fractions of dust potential *** on Shapley additive explanations(SHAP),three factors,i.e.,soil,slope and NDVI have the highest impact on the model's ***,combination of statistic-based predictive models(or data mining models),RS and game theory techniques can provide accurate maps of dust source areas in arid and semi-arid regions,which can be helpful for mitigation of negative effects of d

Objective:To evaluate the effect of adding different values of polymyxin B (PMB) to bull semen on various motility parameters of post-thawed semen such as total motility, progressive motility and velocity parameters using kinetic parameters of sperm by Computer Assisted Sperm ***: Gram negative bacteria release lipopolysaccharide, which induces the apoptotic pathway. Antibiotics are added to semen in order to prevent bacterial contaminations in bovine semen. These antibiotics kill the bacteria especially gram negative bacteria. Therefore, their endotoxins are released during bacteriolysis and bind to the head region and midpiece of sperm. PMB is a bactericidal antibiotic against multidrug resistant gram-negative bacteria and is able to neutralize the toxic effects of the released endotoxin. This study was performed on 3-year old Taleshi bulls. Results:The results showed both positive and negative significant effects of PMB on semen quality. Total motility and progressive motility were significantly increased (P<0.0001) by 100 μg per mL of PMB (55.2% and 48.8% respectively) against the control groups (43.5% and 37.7%, respectively). Moreover, they were significantly decreased (P<0.0001) by 1000 μg per mL of PMB (35.2% and 28.8% respectively) against the control groups (43.5% and 37.7% respectively) in above-mentioned parameters. In Computer Assisted Semen Analyzer, parameter VAP was significantly decreased (P<0.04) in 1000 μg (69.6 μm/s) against the control group (78.7 μm/s). Finally, using PMB in processing cryopreserved bull semen is advised, but before using it, the rate of endotoxins must be ***: We advise using PMB after measuring endotoxin concentration;In vitro,in vivoand in field fertilization, adding other sperm evaluation factors such as acrosomal integrity, DNA integrity, mitochondrial function to PMB treated semen.

Molecular investigation of exoU and exoY virulence genes in Pseudomonas aeruginosa collected from hospitalized patients in North of Iran:A descriptive-analytical study

Objective:To investigate the frequency of exoU and exoY genes in patients with Pseudomonas aeruginosa ***:In this study,100 clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were collected from patients hospitalized in educational-therapeutic hospitals and were identified using standard microbiological ***,the antibiotic resistance pattern of the isolates was determined by the disk agar diffusion *** bacterial DNAs were extracted by the alkaline lysis ***,the presence of exoU and exoY genes was evaluated by the PCR ***:In this study,47%,72%,29%,39%,40%,and 44%of the isolates were non-susceptible to piperacillin,aztreonam,ceftazidime,imipenem,tobramycin,and ciprofloxacin,*** addition,95%and 93%of the clinical isolates carried the exoU and exoY *** and fecal isolates had both virulence genes,while only one wound isolate had neither ***,all urinary isolates contained the exoY gene and only one isolate lacked the exoU ***,88 isolates simultaneously had both exoU and exoY ***:High prevalence of exoU and exoY genes in this region indicates a significant role of typeⅢsecretion system in pathogenesis of Pseudomonas *** typeⅢsecretion system may be a suitable target to reduce the pathogenicity of this bacterium.

In this paper, controlling chaos when chaotic ferroresonant oscillations occur in a voltage transformer with nonlin- ear core loss model is performed. The effect of a parallel metal oxide surge arrester on the ferroresonance oscillations of voltage transformers is studied. The metal oxide arrester （MOA） is found to be effective in reducing ferroresonance chaotic oscillations. Also the multiple scales method is used to analyze the chaotic behavior and different types of fixed points in ferroresonance of voltage transformers considering core loss. This phenomenon has nonlinear chaotic dynamics and includes sub-harmonic, quasi-periodic, and also chaotic oscillations. In this paper, the chaotic behavior and various ferroresonant oscillation modes of the voltage transformer is studied. This phenomenon consists of different types of bifur- cations such as period doubling bifurcation （PDB）, saddle node bifurcation （SNB）, Hopf bifurcation （HB）, and chaos. The dynamic analysis of ferroresonant circuit is based on bifurcation theory. The bifurcation and phase plane diagrams are il- lustrated using a continuous method and linear and nonlinear models of core loss. To analyze ferroresonance phenomenon, the Lyapunov exponents are calculated via the multiple scales method to obtain Feigenbaum numbers. The bifurcation diagrams illustrate the variation of the control parameter. Therefore, the chaos is created and increased in the system.

Carbon capture and sequestration technology is recognized as a successful approach taken to mitigate the amount of greenhouse gases released into the ***,having a successful storage practice requires wise selection of suitable wells in depleted oil or gas fields to reduce the risk of leakage and contamination of subsurface *** aim of this paper is to present a guideline which can be followed to provide a better understanding of sophisticated wells chosen for injection and storage *** recent studies carried out on different aspects of geosequestration indicated that the fracture pressure of seals and borehole conditions such as cement-sheath integrity,distance from faults and fractures together with the depth of wells are important parameters,which should be part of the analysis for well selection in depleted reservoirs.A workflow was then designed covering these aspects and it was applied to a depleted gas field in *** results obtained indicated that Well B in the field may have the potential of being a suitable conduit for *** more studies are required to consider other aspects of well selections,it is recommended to employ the formation integrity analysis as part of the caprock assessment before making any decisions.

Depleted gas reservoirs are recognized as the most promising candidate for carbon dioxide *** gas production followed by injection of carbon dioxide after depletion is the strategy adopted for secondary gas recovery and storage *** strategy,however,depends on the injection strategy,reservoir characteristics and operational *** have been many studies to-date discussing critical factors influencing the storage performance in depleted gas reservoirs while little attention was given to the effect of residual *** this paper,an attempt was made to highlight the importance of residual gas on the capacity,injectivity,reservoir pressurization,and trapping mechanisms of storage sites through the use of numerical *** results obtained indicated that the storage performance is proportionally linked to the amount of residual gas in the medium and reservoirs with low residual fluids are a better choice for storage ***,it would be wise to perform the secondary recovery before storage in order to have the least amount of residual gas in the *** the results of this study are useful to screen depleted gas reservoirs for the storage purpose,more studies are required to confirm the finding presented in this paper.

Depleted gas reservoirs are used for a large-scale carbon dioxide(CO_(2))storage and reduction of the greenhouse gas released into the *** identify a suitable depleted reservoir,it is essential to do a preliminary and comprehensive assessment of key storage factors such as storage capacity,injectivity,trapping mechanisms,and ***,there are a limited number of studies providing a preliminary assessment of CO_(2) injectivity potential in depleted gas reservoirs prior to a CO_(2) storage *** aim of this study is to provide a preliminary assessment of a gas field located in Malaysia for its storage potential based on subsurface characterization prior to *** of the reservoir interval based on the facies,cores,and wireline log data of a well located in the field indicated that the pore type and fabrics analysis is very beneficial to identify suitable locations for a successful storage *** the results obtained are promising,it is recommended to combine this preliminary assessment with the fluid-mineral interactions analysis before making any judgment about reliability of storage sites.

Objective:To determine the infesation of Aphanius sophiae(***)with ectoparasite for the first time from Iran as a little attention has been paid to parasitic infection of *** which is an native species found in the endorheic Kor River Basin,Fars Province,Southern ***:A total of 70 ***(35 males and 35 females)were collected using dip net in May 2010 from Ghadamgah Spring-stream,Southern *** fixation,the external surface of each fish was examined for ectoparasite through ***:Out of 70 fish specimens,two females(2.86%)were infected with three Lernaea *** or anchor *** ectoparasite prevalence rate,intensity and abundance were estimated 2.860,1.500 and 0.043 ***:This study reports infestation of *** by Lernaea *** the first time in *** parasitological investigations are required to determine ectoparasites of *** in different parts of Iran due to its importance and numerous epizootics occurring among the most important farmed fish in various parts of the world.

We study the effect of a parallel metal oxide surge arrester on the ferroresonance oscillations of transformers. It is expected that the arresters generally cause ferroresonance drop out. Simulation has been done on a three phase power transformer with one open phase. Effect of varying input voltage is studied. The simulation results reveal that connecting the arrester to transformers poles, exhibits a great mitigating effect on ferroresonant over voltages. Phase plane along with bifurcation diagrams are also presented. Significant effect on the onset of chaos, the range of parameter values that may lead to chaos and magnitude of ferroresonant voltages is obtained, shown and tabulated.
