Effects of post-processing heat treatments on the microstructure， aging k.netics， and room/elevated temperature mechanical properties of additively manufactured Inconel 718 superalloy were investigated. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM)， electron back.cattered diffraction (EBSD)， and X-ray diffraction (XRD)， as well as hardness， tensile， and creep testing were used for characterization. At temperatures higher than 1100 °C， homogenization treatment resulted in the appearance of equiaxed grains by recrystallization and diminishing the dislocation density. The precipitation activation energy for the homogenized aged condition was obtained as 203 k./mol， which was higher than the value of ～160 k./mol for the as-built IN718 superalloy. Therefore， direct aging resulted in a faster aging response， which led to a significant improvement in tensile properties， as rationalized by the strengthening mechanisms. Direct aging treatment resulted in a higher elevated-temperature ultimate tensile strength (UTS) as well as the optimum creep life and lowest minimum creep rate in comparison with other heat treating routes， which were attributed to the presence of fine and uniformly dispersed strengthening precipitates in conjunction with the high dislocation density.

The behavior of non-Newtonian power-law nanofluids under free convection heat transfer conditions in a cooled square enclosure equipped with a heated fin is investigated *** particular,the impact of nanofluids,composed of water and Al_(2)O_(3),TiO_(2),and Cu nanoparticles,on heat transfer enhancement is *** aim of this research is also to analyze the influence of different parameters,including the Rayleigh number(Ra=10^(4)-10^(6)),nanoparticle volume fraction(φ=0%-20%),non-Newtonian power-law indexes(n=0.6-1.4),and fin dimensions(Ar=0.3,0.5,and 0.7).Streamlines and isotherms are used to depict flow and related heat transfer *** indicate that thermal performance improves with increasing Rayleigh number,regardless of the nanoparticle type or nanofluid rheological *** suggests that the buoyancy force has a significant impact on heat transfer,particularly near the heat *** Nusselt number is more sensitive to variations in Cu nanoparticle volume fractions compared to Al₂O₃and TiO₂.Moreover,the average Nusselt numbers for power-law nanofluids with n1)are greater(smaller)than for Newtonian fluids due to the decrease(increase)in viscosity with increasing(decreasing)shear rate,at the same values of Rayleigh number Ra owing to the amplification(attenuation)of the convective ***,the most substantial enhancement is observed with Cu-water shear-thinning nanofluid,where the Nusselt number increases by 136%when changing from Newtonian to shear thinning behavior and by 154.9%when adding 16%nanoparticle volume ***,an even larger increase of 57%in the average Nusselt number is obtained on increasing the fin length from 0.3 to 0.7.

In this article, the industrial process of CO_2 capture using monoethanolamine as an aqueous solvent was probed carefully from the mass transfer viewpoint. The simulation of this process was done using Rate-Base model, based on two-film theory. The results were validated against real plant data. Compared to the operational unit, the error of calculating absorption percentage and CO_2 loading was estimated around 2%. The liquid temperature profiles calculated by the model agree well with the real temperature along the absorption tower, emphasizing the accuracy of this model. Operational sensitivity analysis of absorption tower was also done with the aim of determining sensitive parameters for the optimized design of absorption tower and optimized operational conditions. Hence,the sensitivity analysis was done for the flow rate of gas, the flow rate of solvent, flue gas temperature, inlet solvent temperature, CO_2 concentration in the flue gas, loading of inlet solvent, and MEA concentration in the solvent. CO_2 absorption percentage, the profile of loading, liquid temperature profile and finally profile of CO_2 mole fraction in gas phase along the absorption tower were studied. To elaborate mass transfer phenomena, enhancement factor, interfacial area, molar flux and liquid hold up were probed. The results show that regarding the CO_2 absorption, the most important parameter was the gas flow rate. Comparing liquid temperature profiles showed that the most important parameter affecting the temperature of the rich solvent was MEA concentration.

Fault isolation in dynamical systems is a challenging task.due to modeling uncertainty and measurement noise,interactive effects of multiple faults and fault *** paper proposes a unified approach for isolation of multiple actuator or sensor faults in a class of nonlinear uncertain dynamical *** and sensor fault isolation are accomplished in two independent modules,that monitor the system and are able to isolate the potential faulty actuator(s)or sensor(s).For the sensor fault isolation(SFI)case,a module is designed which monitors the system and utilizes an adaptive isolation threshold on the output residuals computed via a nonlinear estimation scheme that allows the isolation of single/multiple faulty sensor(s).For the actuator fault isolation(AFI)case,a second module is designed,which utilizes a learning-based scheme for adaptive approximation of faulty actuator(s)and,based on a reasoning decision logic and suitably designed AFI thresholds,the faulty actuator(s)set can be *** effectiveness of the proposed fault isolation approach developed in this paper is demonstrated through a simulation example.

Laminarin oligosaccharides (LOSs) with a specific degree of polymerization prepared through the laminarin degradation via laminarinase present more significant nutritional functions and application values. Human intestinal bacteria are promising potential producers of novel carbohydrate-active enzymes with unique properties. Here， a novel glycoside hydrolase family 128 (GH128) laminarinase OUC-BsLam26 from the intestinal bacterium Bacteroides sp. CBA7301 was heterologously expressed and characterized. The recombinant OUC-BsLam26 with a molecular mass of 49.86 k.a exhibits highest activity (6.60 U/mg) at 45 ℃ and pH 6.0， which shows noticeable temperature and pH stability. The purified OUC-BsLam26 could degrade laminarin via an endo-type mode with the generation of laminaripentaose， laminaritetraose， laminaritriose， and laminaribiose， among them， laminaritetraose is the principal product， which accounts for 45.25% of the total products， which is significantly different from the reported GH128 laminarinases. The minimum recognition substrate of OUC-BsLam26 is laminarihexaose. Furthermore， OUC-BsLam26 also could catalyze the transglycosylation process with the production of some novel glycosides. Altogether， the intestinal bacterium Bacteroides sp. CBA7301 contains laminarinase with unique product composition and OUC-BsLam26 is a hopeful bio-catalyst with the potential to produce laminaritetraose and some novel glycosides.

The effects of forward extrusion as well as extrusion combined with reversible torsion (k.Bo extrusion)， followed by additional deformation via the MaxStrain module of the Gleeble thermomechanical simulator， on the microstructure， mechanical properties， and electrical conductivity of a Cu-0.7Mg (wt.%) alloy， were investigated in this work. The simulation results highlighted the critical influence of processing history in determining the equivalent strain distribution. The sample subjected to forward extrusion at 400 ℃and subsequent MaxStrain processing (FM sample)， possessed 76% lower grain size compared to the sample processed solely with MaxStrain (AM sample). Lik.wise， the k.Bo-extruded and MaxStrain-processed sample (k. sample) exhibited 66% smaller grain size compared to the AM sample. Tensile test results revealed that the AM， FM， and k. samples， respectively， possessed 251%， 288%， and 360% higher yield strength， and 95%， 121%， and 169% higher tensile strength compared to the initial annealed alloy， as a result of grain refinement as well as deformation strengthening. Finally， the electrical conductivity measurements revealed that AM， FM， and k. samples， respectively， possessed electrical conductivity values of 37.9， 35.6， and 32.0 (MS/m)， which， considering their mechanical properties， mak.s them eligible to be categorized as high-strength and high-conductivity copper alloys.

This research is devoted to the study of creep behavior of asphalt binder in hot *** binder was subjected to thermal cycles due to the variation of temperature from day to *** cycles produce a heating-cooling *** evaluate the effect of climate change in laboratory,the DSR(dynamic shear rheometer)was used,and the results found with the nine samples were *** thermal cycles led to aging and therefore hardening of the ***,a rheological model was proposed that can represent the curves obtained experimentally,where it is able to describe the creep behavior of binders tested.A new model is proposed that correlates well with the experimental curves,which is called A+2 k.
