Groundwater vulnerability assessment is a crucial step in the efficient management of groundwater resources,especially in areas with intensive anthropogenic activities and groundwater *** the present study,the DRASTIC method was applied using Geographic Information System(GIS)to delineate groundwater vulnerability zones in the erbil Dumpsite area,Central erbil Basin,North *** showed that the area was classified into four vulnerability classes:Very low(16.97%),low(27.67%),moderate(36.55%)and high(18.81%).The southern,south-eastern and northern parts of the study area exhibited the highest vulnerability potential,while the central-northern,northern and north-western regions displayed the lowest vulnerability ***,results of the single-parameter sensitivity analysis indicated that amongst the seven DRASTIC parameters,the unsaturated zone and the aquifer media were the most influencing *** conclustion,the correlation of 25 nitrate concentration values with the final vulnerability map,assessed using the Pearson correlation coefficient,yielded a satisfactory result of R=0.72.

No or little information on the use fresh(wet)housefly maggots(Musca domestica)in African catfish(Clarias gariepinus)fry ***,this study was conducted to investigate the effect of feeding on fresh(wet)housefly maggots with or without artificial diet on water quality,growth performance,survival percentage and feed utilization of African catfish fry under laboratory *** maggots produced from a mixture of poultry droppings and foods wastes,it was used to replace artificial feed at 0,50 and 100% *** were fed artificial diet alone(Feed 1),fresh(wet)housefly maggots alone(Feed 2),and 50% fresh housefly maggots with 50% artificial diet(Feed 3)were prepared and tested on triplicate groups of African catfish fry(initial weight of 0.25±0.02 g)for 60 *** showed that final weight(g/fish)was significantly(P≤0.05)higher in fish fed on feed 3(6.03±0.08),followed by fish fed feed 2(4.62±0.27),followed by fish fed feed 1(3.15±0.68).Specific growth rate(%/day)was also significantly higher in fish fed on feed 3(5.31±0.10),followed by fish fed feed 2(4.86±0.03),followed by fish fed feed 1(4.18±0.24).The same trend was observed with total weight gain,percentage weight gain,daily growth rate and relative growth *** intake and protein intake were significantly(P≤0.05)higher in fish fed on feed 3 and fish fed on feed 2,followed by fish fed feed ***,feed conversion ratio(FCR)and protein efficiency ratio were not significantly(P>0.05),but the improvement in FCR recorded in catfish fry fed feed 3 and feed 2 under the experimental *** percentage was within the range 55-75%,with insignificant differences(P>0.05)among *** water quality parameters such as temperature,ph,dissolved oxygen,total ammonia,nitrite and nitrate were not significantly(P>0.05)between the treatments and were tolerable for Catfish ***,use of the 50% fresh(wet)housefly maggots with 50% artificial diet in African catfish fry f

Currently,the search is on for alternative sources of feed ingredients,the main reasons being the increasing cost and uncertainty about the continuous supply of common feed ingredients especially fishmeal and soybean *** importance of macro algae or seaweeds as a potential substitute protein source for fish nutrition cultured has been documented in recent *** algae are receiving consideration for their essential amino acid content and high protein value,trace metals and vitamins in fish *** addition,macro algae or seaweeds could be a potential low cost source of protein for ***,the economic comparison of feed cost revealed that the increase in the level of dried and fresh seaweeds in alternative feeding treatments,and commercial diets used for fish growth have decreased which led to a significant decrease in the cost of *** the results of previous studies,using of macro algae(seaweeds)in fish diets may improves growth performance,feed efficiency,physiological activity,carcass quality,disease resistance and reduced stress *** review describes effects of using of macro algae(seaweeds)in diets on growth performance of fish.

The main animal protein ingredient in fish diets is most often fishmeal because of its nutritional ***,the limited availability and increasingly cost of fishmeal has lead to investigations of either lowering or replacing the fishmeal content with more economic protein sources of animal and/or plant *** research for appropriate and cheap cost alternative sources of protein to use in commercial fish diets will be the most important factor in intensive fish culture *** meals are healthy and nutritious alternatives to fish meal due to their rich nutritional values,particularly protein,fat and *** maggots(Musca domestica)meal is also rich in B complex vitamins,trace elements and *** the results of previous studies,housefly maggots meal can be used successfully to replace the fish meal portion partially or completely in the fish ***,the results observed that not physiological stressful was introduced in the fish by feeding housefly maggots meal *** indicates that housefly maggots meal were well utilized by the fish thus resulting in good growth of *** other study,observed a best growth performance with fish feeding on diets containing maggot’s meal compared with fish feeding on fishmeal *** indicates the high nutritional quality and fish acceptance of maggot’s meal.

The behavior of non-Newtonian power-law nanofluids under free convection heat transfer conditions in a cooled square enclosure equipped with a heated fin is investigated *** particular,the impact of nanofluids,composed of water and Al_(2)O_(3),TiO_(2),and Cu nanoparticles,on heat transfer enhancement is *** aim of this research is also to analyze the influence of different parameters,including the Rayleigh number(Ra=10^(4)-10^(6)),nanoparticle volume fraction(φ=0%-20%),non-Newtonian power-law indexes(n=0.6-1.4),and fin dimensions(Ar=0.3,0.5,and 0.7).Streamlines and isotherms are used to depict flow and related heat transfer *** indicate that thermal performance improves with increasing Rayleigh number,regardless of the nanoparticle type or nanofluid rheological *** suggests that the buoyancy force has a significant impact on heat transfer,particularly near the heat *** Nusselt number is more sensitive to variations in Cu nanoparticle volume fractions compared to Al₂O₃and TiO₂.Moreover,the average Nusselt numbers for power-law nanofluids with n1)are greater(smaller)than for Newtonian fluids due to the decrease(increase)in viscosity with increasing(decreasing)shear rate,at the same values of Rayleigh number Ra owing to the amplification(attenuation)of the convective ***,the most substantial enhancement is observed with Cu-water shear-thinning nanofluid,where the Nusselt number increases by 136%when changing from Newtonian to shear thinning behavior and by 154.9%when adding 16%nanoparticle volume ***,an even larger increase of 57%in the average Nusselt number is obtained on increasing the fin length from 0.3 to 0.7.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of different doses injection of human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG)hormone on fecundity and serum sex hormones(FSh,Lh,estrogen(e2),progesterone(P4),testosterone(T))of African catfish(Clarias gariepinus).African catfish spawners were intermuscularly injected with different doses of hCG(500,1500,3000,6000 IU/kg female),and group is not injected as a control;males were injected at half the female *** results showed that,fish group injected by 6000 IU hCG/kg female had the highest gonadsomatic index,absolute fecundity and relative fecundity,while,the lowest value of absolute fecundity and relative fecundity were recorded with 500 IU hCG/kg *** group injected with the highest amount of hCG(6000 IU/kg female)recorded the lowest value from egg diameter,while the highest egg diameter was observed in 500 IU hCG/kg *** females,the group injected with 6000 IU hCG/kg female reflected the lowest level of FSh and the highest level of Lh and the highest level of P4 compared to other *** of T recorded the highest level with 1500 IU hCG/kg *** control group reflected the highest level of FSh and e2,while the control group reflected the lowest level of T and P4 *** males,serum FSh,Lh,P4 and e2 in male groups injected with hCG were relatively higher than those recorded in the control *** highest level of T was recorded in treatment injected with the highest dose of hCG and decreased in other treatments until recorded the lowest level of T in the control *** was observed,hCG hormone has successfully and accelerate induced spawning in African catfish(Clarias gariepinus)and increased in reproductive performance with the increase in hCG dosage and as compared to group not injected.

This study focuses on the novel forecasting method(SutteARIMA)and its application in predicting Infant Mortality Rate data in *** undertakes a comparison of the most popular andwidely used four forecasting methods:ARIMA,Neural Networks Time Series(NNAR),holt-Winters,and *** data used were obtained from the website of the World *** data consisted of the annual infant mortality rate(per 1000 live births)from 1991 to *** determine a suitable and best method for predicting InfantMortality rate,the forecasting results of these four methods were compared based on the mean absolute percentage error(MAPe)and mean squared error(MSe).The results of the study showed that the accuracy level of SutteARIMA method(MAPe:0.83%andMSe:0.046)in predicting InfantMortality rate in Indonesia was smaller than the other three forecasting methods,specifically the ARIMA(0.2.2)with a MAPe of 1.21%and a MSe of 0.146;the NNAR with a MAPe of 7.95%and a MSe of 3.90;and the holt-Winters with aMAPe of 1.03%and aMSe:of 0.083.

Purpose:Overcrowding in emergency department(eD)is a concerning global problem and has been identified as a national crisis in some *** emergency sorting systems designed successfully in the *** in 2004,a group of branches in South African triage scale(SATS)*** effectiveness of the case sorting system of SATS was evaluated to reduce the patient's length of stay(LOS)and mortality rate within the eD at Suez Canal University ***:The study was designed as an intervention study that included a systematic random sample of patients who presented to the eD in Suez Canal University *** study was implemented in three phases:pre-intervention phase,115 patients were assessed by the traditional protocols;intervention phase,a structured training program was provided to the eD staff,including a workshop and lectures;and post-intervention phase,230 patients were assessed by *** the patients were retriaged 2 h later,calculating the LOS per patient and the *** was collected and entered using Microsoft excel *** data from the triage sheet were analyzed using the SPSS software program version ***:The LOS in the eD was about 183.78 min before the intervention;while after the training program and the application of SATS,it was reduced to 51.39 *** 15.7%of the patients died before the intervention;however,after the intervention the ratio decreased to 10.7%***:SATS is better at assessing patients without missing important ***,it resulted in a decrease in the LOS and reduction in the mortality rate compared to the traditional protocol.

This monograph presents an overview of friction stir processing(FSP)of surface metal-matrix composites(MMCs)using the AZ91 magnesium *** reported results in relation to various reinforcing particles,including silicon carbide(SiC),alumina(Al_(2)O_(3)),quartz(SiO_(2)),boron carbide(B_(4)C),titanium carbide(TiC),carbon fiber,hydroxyapatite(hA),in-situ formed phases,and hybrid reinforcements are ***91 composite fabricating methods based on FSP are explained,including groove filling(grooving),drilled hole filling,sandwich method,stir casting followed by FSP,and formation of in-situ *** effects of introducing second-phase particles and FSP process parameters(e.g.,tool rotation rate,traverse speed,and the number of passes)on the microstructural modification,grain refinement,homogeneity in the distribution of particles,inhibition of grain growth,mechanical properties,strength–ductility trade-off,wear/tribological behavior,and corrosion resistance are ***,useful suggestions for future work are proposed,including focusing on the superplasticity and superplastic forming,metal additive manufacturing processes based on friction stir engineering(such as additive friction stir deposition),direct FSP,stationary shoulder FSP,correlation of the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)grain size with the Zener–hollomon parameter similar to hot deformation studies,process parameters(such as the particle volume fraction and external cooling),and common reinforcing phases such as zirconia(ZrO_(2))and carbon nanotubes(CNTs).

This article introduces a novel approach for tricone bit wear condition monitoring and failure prediction for surface mining applications.A successful bit health monitoring system is essential to achieve fully autonomous blasthole *** this research in-situ vibration signals were analyzed in timefrequency domain and signals trend during tricone bit life span were investigated and introduced to support the development of artificial intelligence(AI)*** addition to the signal statistical features,wavelet packet energy distribution proved to be a powerful indicator for bit wear *** artificial neural network(ANN)models were designed,trained and evaluated for bit state ***,an ANN architecture and feature vector were introduced to classify the bit condition and predict the bit failure.
