In recent years,the telecommunications sector is no longer limited to traditional communications,but has become the backbone for the use of data,content and digital applications by individuals,governments and companies to ensure the continuation of economic and social activity in light of social distancing and total closure inmost countries in the ***,electronic government(e-Government)andmobile government(m-Government)are the results of technological evolution and ***,it is important to investigate the factors that influence the intention to use m-Government services among Jordan’s *** paper proposed a new m-Government acceptance model in Jordan(AmGS);this model combines the Information System(IS)Success Factor model and Hofstede Cultural Dimensions *** study was conducted by surveying different groups of the Jordanian *** questionnaire was used to collect data from203 *** regression analysis has been conducted to analyze the *** results indicate that the significant predictors of citizen intention to use m-Government services in Jordan are Information Quality,Service Quality,Uncertainty Avoidance,and Indulgence ***,the results also suggest that Power Distance is not a significant predictor of citizen intention to use m-Government services.

Role of bevacizumab intraocular injection in the management of neovascular glaucoma

AIm:To assess the long-term effects of intraocular bevacizumab(Avastin)injections as an adjunctive drug to manage patients with neovascular glaucoma(NVG).mETHODS:A retrospective study was conducted consisting of 34 eyes with secondary NVG caused by proliferative diabetic retinopathy(n=25),ischemic central retinal vein occlusion(n=8),and retinal ischemia resulting from persistent detachment(n=1)were managed by intraocular injections of bevacizumab(1.25 mg/0.05 m L),in addition to other *** main outcome measure was the change in the degree of iris *** outcomes included intraocular pressure and the number of additional interventions or antiglaucoma medications administered after ***:All patients were followed-up for at least 12 *** the last follow-up,complete regression of rubeosis irides was detectable in 13(38.2%)eyes and incomplete regression in 21 eyes(61.8%).The mean intraocular pressure was 45.32±7.185 mm Hg at baseline and significantly decreased to 26.15±5.679 mm Hg at the last follow-up visit(P=0.000005).Patients received an average of 4.97 *** additional treatments,12 eyes(35%)received laser photocoagulation and 6 eyes(18%)underwent *** further treatment was needed in 16 eyes(47.1%).CONCLUSION:Intravitreal bevacizumab injection can have a favorable effect in controlling intraocular pressure and pain control in patients with NVG because it decreases the angiogenesis and helps to augment the results of conventional *** primary cause of retinal ischemia should be always targeted.

Development and psychometric evaluation of Nurses and midwives’Perceptions of their Roles in Primary Healthcare

Objective:This study aimed to develop Nurses and midwives’Perceptions of their Roles in Primary Healthcare(NmPR-PHC)and evaluate its psychometric ***:A cross-sectional survey was performed to recruit a convenient sample of 150 registered nurses and midwives from various primary healthcare settings in *** was evaluated by examining the internal consistency and split-half reliability of the item.A exploratory factor analysis was performed to assess the factor structure of the ***:The final version of NmPR-PHC contained 18 *** factor analysis revealed six factors(care coordination and interprofessional collaboration,workplace facilitators of the primary healthcare,management of care,research,workplace constraints of primary healthcare,and advanced education)for the questionnaire which explained 66.49%of the total *** Cronbach’s a of the total scale was 0.834,the subscales Cronbach’s a were ranging between 0.662 and 0.770,and the splithalf reliability of the total scale was ***:The overall performance of the questionnaire showed promising sound psychometric *** NmPR-PHC can be recommended for use as a tool for the assessment of nurses and midwives’perceptions of their roles in primary healthcare.

AIm:To share the results of a national screening program for amblyopia in school children in the north of ***:This is a prospective national screening study for *** program rolls first and second-grade children(6 to 7 years old) in the north of *** eye examination included:best-corrected visual acuity,cover-uncover test,and cycloplegic *** visual acuity was tested using an ETDRS visual acuity chart without ***,children were tested with full cycloplegic refraction when the test criteria were *** amblyopia was defined as a best-corrected visual acuity difference of 2 or more *** comparison,bilateral amblyopia was defined as a best-corrected visual acuity of 20/40 or worse in the best ***:The prevalence of amblyopia for the total sample tested(n=17 203) was 2.78%(n=479).The most common cause of amblyopia was hypermetropia(64.45%),followed by previous ocular surgeries(15.1%),myopia(10.43%),strabismus(9.39%),and congenital cataract(0.63%).CONCLUSION:This is the first and only study,identifing modifiable risk factors in Jordanian children with *** their first couple of years of elementary education,many Jordanian children are affected by amblyopia and pass unnoticed.A more governmental effort is needed into screening programs to improve vision in the Jordanian population.
