In the domain of perovskite solar cells(PSCs),the imperative to reconcile impressive photovoltaic performance with lead-related issue and environmental stability has driven innovative *** study pioneers an approach that not only rectifies lead leakage but also places paramount importance on the attainment of rigorous interfacial *** ethers,notably benzo-18-crown-6-ether(B18C6),were strategically integrated at the perovskite-hole transport material *** ethers exhibit a dual role:efficiently sequestering and immobilizing Pb^(2+)ions through host-guest complexation and simultaneously establishing a robust interfacial passivation *** crown ether candidates,guided by density functional theory(dFT)calculations,demonstrated proficiency in binding Pb2+ions and optimizing interfacial *** devices incorporating these materials achieved exceptional power conversion efficiency(PCE),notably 21.7%for B18C6,underscoring their efficacy in lead binding and interfacial *** techniques,including time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(ToF-SIMS),ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy(UPS),time-resolved photoluminescence(TRPL),and transient absorption spectroscopy(TAS),unequivocally affirmed Pb^(2+)ion capture and suppression of non-radiative ***,these PSCs maintained efficiency even after enduring 300 h of exposure to 85%relative *** research underscores the transformative potential of crown ethers,simultaneously addressing lead binding and stringent interfacial passivation for sustainable PSCs poised to commercialize and advance renewable energy applications.

Terahertz(THz)emission spectroscopy(TES)has emerged as a highly effective and versatile technique for investigating the photoelectric properties of diverse materials and nonlinear physical processes in the past few ***,research on two-dimensional(2d)materials has experienced substantial growth due to their atomically thin structures,exceptional mechanical and optoelectronic properties,and the potential for applications in flexible electronics,sensing,and ***,these materials offer advantages such as tunable bandgap,high carrier mobility,wideband optical absorption,and relatively short carrier *** applying TES to investigate the 2d materials,their interfaces and heterostructures,rich information about the interplay among photons,charges,phonons and spins can be unfolded,which provides fundamental understanding for future *** it is timely to review the nonlinear processes underlying THz emission in 2d materials including optical rectification,photon-drag,high-order harmonic generation and spin-to-charge conversion,showcasing the rich diversity of the TES employed to unravel the complex nature of these *** applications based on THz emissions,such as THz lasers,ultrafast imaging and biosensors,are also *** further,we analyzed the unique advantages of spintronic terahertz emitters and the future technological advancements in the development of new THz generation mechanisms leading to advanced THz sources characterized by wide bandwidth,high power and integration,suitable for industrial and commercial *** continuous advancement and integration of TES with the study of 2d materials and heterostructures promise to revolutionize research in different areas,including basic materials physics,novel optoelectronic devices,and chips for post-Moore’s era.

Electrochemical water splitting is one of the most reliable approaches for environmental-friendly hydrogen *** of their stability and abundance,Mn-based materials have been studied as electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER),which is a more sluggish reaction in the water splitting *** increase the OER activity of Mn,it is imperative to facilitate the structural change of Mn oxide to the active phase with Mn_(3)+species,known as the active ***,we present the relationship between the electronic conductivity in the catalyst layer and the formation of the Mn active phase,δ-MnO_(2),from wrinkled Mn(OH)_(2).Mn(OH)_(2) has poor conductivity,and it disrupts the oxidation reaction toward MnOOH orδ-MnO_(2).Adjacent conductive carbon to Mn(OH)_(2) enabled Mn(OH)_(2) to be oxidized toδ-MnO_(2).Furthermore,after repetitive cyclic voltammetry activation,the more conductive environment resulted in a higher density ofδ-MnO_(2) through the irreversible phase transition,and thus it contributes to the improvement of the OER activity.

Ammonia (NH_(3)) plays a key role in the agricultural fertilizer and commodity chemical industries and is useful for exploring hydrogen storage *** electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) is receiving attention as an environmentally sustainable NH_(3) synthesis replacement for the traditional Haber–Bosch process owing to its near ambient reaction conditions (d 1 atm).However,its NH_(3) yield and faradaic efficiency are extremely low because of the sluggish kinetics of N≡N bond dissociation and the hindrance from competitive hydrogen *** overcome these challenges,we herein introduce a dual-functionalized ionic liquid (1-(4-hydroxybutyl)-3-methylimidazolium hydroxide[HOBIM]OH) for a highly dispersed ruthenium oxide electrocatalyst to achieve a biased *** observed uniform distribution of RuO_(2) on the carbon fiber and increase in the surface area for N_(2) adsorption by limiting proton access can be attributed to the presence of imidazolium ***,extensive N_(2) adsorption contributes to enhanced NRR selectivity with an NH_(3) yield of 3.0×10^(-10)mol cm^(-2)s^(-1)(91.8μg h^(-1)mg^(-1)) and a faradaic efficiency of 2.2%at-0.20 V_(RHE).We expect our observations to provide new insights into the design of effective electrode structures for electrochemical NH;synthesis.

Background:Inflammatory bowel disease(IBd)is characterized by chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal ***-intestinal manifestations such as pulmonary diseases have been *** rhinosinusitis(CRS),an inflammatory condition of the sinonasal mucosa,has been associated with several lung *** the relationship between lung and intestinal pathologies,and lung and sinus pathologies,we aimed to determine the prevalence of IBd among CRS ***:Pilot prevalence ***-two CRS patients were screened for IBd symptoms from October 2018 to January ***-reported disease symptoms and overall quality of life were evaluated using the Sino-Nasal Outcome Test 22(SNOT-22),Short Inflammatory Bowel disease Questionnaire(SIBdQ),and EuroQol 5 dimension 5 Level(EQ-5d-5L)*** Modified Lund-Kennedy(MLK)endoscopic and Lund-Mackay(LM)grading systems were used to confirm CRS *** who reported subjective symptoms of IBd were referred to a gastroenterologist clinic for further ***:Twenty of the 92(20.2%,95%CI:12.6%-29.8%)CRS patients reported symptoms of IBd and four individuals(4.26%,95%CI:1.17%-10.50%)were sub-sequently diagnosed with *** to patients without IBd symptoms(n=72),those with symptoms(n=20)reported significantly worse SNOT-22(P=0.002),SIBdQ(Pd EQ-5d-3L(P=0.0063)***,these patients did not exhibit significantly different MLK(P=0.81)or LM(P=0.04)***:The prevalence of IBd may be elevated among individuals with CRS relative to the general Canadian *** pilot study suggests that CRS with IBd is associated with lower quality of *** cross-sectional studies with larger sample sizes are required.

With the remarkable growth of textual data sources in recent years,easy,fast,and accurate text processing has become a challenge with significant *** text summarization is the process of compressing text documents into shorter summaries for easier review of its core contents,which must be done without losing important features and *** paper introduces a new hybrid method for extractive text summarization with feature selection based on text *** major advantage of the proposed summarization method over previous systems is the modeling of text structure and relationship between entities in the input text,which improves the sentence feature selection process and leads to the generation of unambiguous,concise,consistent,and coherent *** paper also presents the results of the evaluation of the proposed method based on precision and recall *** is shown that the method produces summaries consisting of chains of sentences with the aforementioned characteristics from the original text.

A superresolution imaging approach that localizes very small targets,such as red blood cells or droplets of injected photoacoustic dye,has significantly improved spatial resolution in various biological and medical imaging ***,this superior spatial resolution is achieved by sacrificing temporal resolution because many raw image frames,each containing the localization target,must be superimposed to form a sufficiently sampled high-density superresolution ***,we demonstrate a computational strategy based on deep neural networks(dNNs)to reconstruct high-density superresolution images from far fewer raw image *** localization strategy can be applied for both 3d label-free localization optical-resolution photoacoustic microscopy(OR-PAM)and 2d labeled localization photoacoustic computed tomography(PACT).For the former,the required number of raw volumetric frames is reduced from tens to fewer than *** the latter,the required number of raw 2d frames is reduced by 12 ***,our proposed method has simultaneously improved temporal(via the dNN)and spatial(via the localization method)resolutions in both label-free microscopy and labeled ***-learning powered localization PA imaging can potentially provide a practical tool in preclinical and clinical studies requiring fast temporal and fine spatial resolutions.

These days,imbalanced datasets,denoted throughout the paper by Id,(a dataset that contains some(usually two)classes where one contains considerably smaller number of samples than the other(s))emerge in many real world problems(like health care systems or disease diagnosis systems,anomaly detection,fraud detection,stream based malware detection systems,and so on)and these datasets cause some problems(like under-training of minority class(es)and over-training of majority class(es),bias towards majority class(es),and so on)in classification process and ***,these datasets take the focus of many researchers in any science and there are several solutions for dealing with this *** main aim of this study for dealing with Ids is to resample the borderline samples discovered by Support Vector data description(SVdd).There are naturally two kinds of resampling:Under-sampling(U-S)and oversampling(O-S).The O-S may cause the occurrence of over-fitting(the occurrence of over-fitting is its main drawback).The U-S can cause the occurrence of significant information loss(the occurrence of significant information loss is its main drawback).In this study,to avoid the drawbacks of the sampling techniques,we focus on the samples that may be *** data points that can be misclassified are considered to be the borderline data points which are on border(s)between the majority class(es)and minority class(es).First by SVdd,we find the borderline examples;then,the data resampling is applied over *** the next step,the base classifier is trained on the newly created ***,we compare the result of our method in terms of Area Under Curve(AUC)and F-measure and G-mean with the other state-of-the-art *** show that our method has betterresults than the other state-of-the-art methods on our experimental study.
