In this paper,we present a case study that performs an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)based fine-scale 3D change detection and monitoring of progressive collapse performance of a building during a demolition ***-temporal oblique photogrammetry images are collected with 3D point clouds generated at different stages of the *** geometric accuracy of the generated point clouds has been evaluated against both airborne and terrestrial LiDAR point clouds,achieving an average distance of 12 cm and 16 cm for roof and façade *** propose a hierarchical volumetric change detection framework that unifies multi-temporal UAV images for pose estimation(free of ground control points),reconstruction,and a coarse-to-fine 3D density change *** work has provided a solution capable of addressing change detection on full 3D time-series datasets where dramatic scene content changes are presented *** change detection results on the building demolition event have been evaluated against the manually marked ground-truth changes and have achieved an F-1 score varying from 0.78 to 0.92,with consistently high precision(0.92–0.99).Volumetric changes through the demolition progress are derived from change detection and have been shown to favorably reflect the qualitative and quantitative building demolition progression.

Colonoscopy represents a safe procedure that is widely used in medical practice either to diagnose or treat various gastrointestinal *** the last few years,the incidence rate of perforations in colonoscopic procedures has increased,especially in therapeutic *** recent advancements in endoscopic techniques and gastrointestinal tumoral resection procedures such as endoscopic mucosal resection,endoscopic full-thickness resection,and endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)could be a risk factor for this increased *** incidence rate of mortality of serious colonoscopic perforations is 7.1%.The management plan for these perforations starts with conservative treatment in mild cases,endoscopic closure,and surgical management in severe ***,endoluminal vacuum therapy was found to be effective in the management of colorectal perforations and this has been reported in multiple case *** editorial provides an overview of the current guidelines for the management of iatrogenic colorectal *** insights are from the perspectives of endoscopists and *** also present a management algorithm based on the guidelines of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy,the American Gastroenterological Association,and the World Society of Emergency *** also discussed in brief the use of endoluminal vacuum therapy in colorectal perforations.

Recently,the LHCb experiment announced the observation of hidden-charm pentaquark states Pc(4312),Pc(4440),and Pc(4457)nearΣcDandΣcD**** this present work,we studied these pentaquarks in the framework of the nonrelativistic quark model with four types of *** solved five-body Schrodinger equation by using the artificial neural network method and made predictions of parities for these states,which are not yet determined by *** mass of another possible pentaquark state near the D*Σc*with JP=5/2-is also calculated.

Mass attenuation coefficients, effective atomic numbers, effective electron densities and Kerma relative to air for adipose, muscle and bone tissues have been investigated in the photon energy region from 20 keV up to 50 MeV with Geant4 simulation package and theoretical calculations. Based on Geant4 results of the mass attenuation coefficients, the effective atomic numbers for the tissue models have been calculated. The calculation results have been compared with the values of the Auto-Zeff program and with other studies available in the literature. Moreover, Kerma of studied tissues relative to air has been determined and found to be dependent on the absorption edges of the tissue constituent elements.

Objective To evaluate the epicardial fat tissue thickness （EFTT） as a diagnostic criterion for geriatric patients with metabolic syn- drome （MetS）. Methods Sixty geriatric patients over 65 years of age were recruited for the study. Patients were divided into two groups： Group 1 （n = 30） consisted of patients with MetS; Group 2 （n = 30） consisted of patients without MetS. Echocardiography was used to measure EFTT in all patients, and blood samples were analyzed for biochemical parameters. Results Compared to Group 2, EFTT levels of Group 1 were statistically higher （P 〈 0.05）. In a binary logistic regression analysis, EFTT levels served as the independent factor for meta- bolic syndrome 03 = 17.35, SE = 4.93, Wald = 12.36, P 〈 0.001）. Receivers operating characteristic Curve （ROC-curve） analysis revealed that EFTT predicted MetS with 96.7% sensitivity and 86.7% specificity above the level of 7.3 mm [area under the curve = 0.969; 95% con- fidence interval （CI）： 0.928-1.00]. Conclusions The present study demonstrated that serum EFTT levels were higher in geriatric patients with MetS and can therefore be used as a diagnostic criterion for MetS.

When a pico satellite is under normal operational condi- tions, whether it is extended or unscented, a conventional Kalman filter gives sufficiently good estimation results. However, if the measurements are not reliable because of any kind of malfunc- tions in the estimation system, the Kalman filter gives inaccurate results and diverges by time. This study compares two different robust Kalman filtering algorithms, robust extended Kalman filter （REKF） and robust unscented Kalman filter （RUKF）, for the case of measurement malfunctions. In both filters, by the use of de- fined variables named as the measurement noise scale factor, the faulty measurements are taken into the consideration with a small weight, and the estimations are corrected without affecting the characteristic of the accurate ones. The proposed robust Kalman filters are applied for the attitude estimation process of a pico satel- lite, and the results are compared.

Intragastric balloon therapy, as a part of a multidisciplinary weight management program, is an effective short-term intervention for weight loss. Although the insertion procedure is easy and generally well tolerated by patients, a few complications can occur. We report here a heavy smoker with intragastric balloon inser-tion complicated by colonization with opportunistic organisms. The 27-year-old female, body mass index 35.5 kg/m2, had a BioEnterics Intragastric Balloon inserted under conscious sedation without any perioperative complications. Six months later, when the standard removal time arrived, the balloon was seen to be covered with a necrotic white-gray material. Microbiological examination revealed Enterobacter cloacae and Candida species yeast colonies. We recommend that asymptomatic fungal and/or bacterial colonization should be considered among the complications of the intragastric balloon procedure, despite its rarity.

Zinc borate(ZB)particles dispersed in silicone oil(SO)at concentrations of φ=5vol%-20vol% were subjected to dielectric analysis to elucidate their polarization strength,time,and *** revealed that all virgin dispersions lacked *** X-100,a non-ionic surfactant,was added to ZB/SO dispersions to enhance the polarizability of ZB *** addition of 1vol% Triton X-100 enhanced the polarizability of ZB/SO dispersions,and the 15vol% ZB/SO system provided the highest dielectric difference Δε′(the difference in ε′values at zero and infinite frequency,Δε′=ε0–ε∝)of *** electrorheological(ER)activities of the ZB/SO/Triton-X dispersion system were determined through the ER response test,and viscoelastic behaviors were investigated via oscillation tests.A recoverable deformation of 36% under an applied electrical field strength of 1.5 kV/mm was detected through creep and creep recovery tests.

Effects of friction stir processing（FSP）parameters and reinforcements on the wear behavior of 6061-T6 based hybrid composites were investigated.A mathematical formulation was derived to calculate the wear volume loss of the *** experimental results were contrasted with the results of the proposed *** influences of sliding distance,tool traverse and rotational speeds,as well as graphite（Gr）and titanium carbide（TiC）volume fractions on the wear volume loss of the composites were also investigated using the prepared *** results demonstrated that the wear volume loss of the composites significantly increased with increasing sliding distance,tool traverse speed,and rotational speed;while the wear volume loss decreased with increasing volume fraction of the reinforcements.A minimum wear volume loss for the hybrid composites with complex reinforcements was specified at the inclusion ratio of 50% TiC＋50% Al2O3 because of improved lubricant ability,as well as resistance to brittleness and *** possibilities to develop wear-resistant aluminum-based composites for different industrial applications were proposed.
