This article presents a novel modified chuck wagon dinner bell shaped millimeter wave(mm-wave)antenna at 28 *** proposed design has ultra-thin Rogers 5880 substrate with relative permittivity of *** design consists of T shaped resonating elements and two open ended side *** desired 28 GHz frequency response is achieved by careful parametric modeling of the proposed *** maximum achieved single element gain at the desired resonance frequency is 3.45 *** efficiency of the proposed design over the operating band is more than 88%.The impedance bandwidth achieved for−10 dB reference value is nearly 2.9 *** proposed antenna is transformed into four element linear array which increases the gain up to 10.5 *** fabricated prototype is tested for the measured *** is observed that measured results closely match the simulated *** considering its simple structure and focused radiation patterns,the proposed design is well suited for IoT(Internet of Things),mmWave microwave sensing,5G and future RF(Radio Frequency)frontends.

Background & objectives: Data regarding tumor marker usefulness in diagnosing ascites of unknown etiology and determining its malignant nature are conflicting. We aim to assess the diagnostic value of ascitic and serum tumor markers in ascites of unknown etiology and to evaluate their usefulness besides other laboratory tests in a diagnostic work-up in those patients. Design & setting: A prospective case-control study conducted at Assiut University hospital and oncology institute. Patients & Methods: Three groups were included;Group I: 41 patients with ascites of unknown etiology Group II: 7 Patients with TB ascites and Group III:14 patients with cirrhotic ascites. We assessed the CEA, CEA mRNA, CA15-3, CA19.9, CA125, AFP and PSA in serum and ascetic fluid. A diagnostic work-up for group I included: IPD test, ultrasound, CT, ascetic fluid cytology, SAAG, Laparotomy and biopsy. Results: Ascetic fluid and serum levels of CA15-3 and CA125 were significantly increased in group I and were significantly increased in histopathologically proved malignant ascites compared to TB and cirrhotic ascites. In group I, CA 125 was significantly higher in ascites than serum. With the exception of PSA, all tumor markers significantly correlated in serum and ascetic fluid. No significant difference in the level of ascetic CEA messenger RNA was detected between the 3 groups. Cytology had 53% sensitivity, 94% specificity and CA 125 & CA15-3 had 81% sensitivity and 75% specificity in detection of malignant ascites repectively. Laparotomy and biopsy: diagnosed malignnancy in 53.3% and TB in 13.3%. Conclusions: A diagnostic work-up including SAAG, tumor markers in the serum and ascetic fluid may help in adjunct with ascetic fluid cytology, laparotomy and biopsy, imag- ing and other laboratory tests in diagnosing ascites of unknown etiology.

Analytical Study of Ground Painting Layers and Conservation Processes of an Egyptian Painted Coffin

The aim of this study is to examine and present the results of the scientific examinations carried out on the ground layers with paint samples collected from the decorated surfaces of the wooden coffin dated back to the late period from Saqqara excavation that belonged to the Ministry of Antiquities. Many analytical methods were performed as optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray analysis （ESEM-EDX）, X-ray diffraction analysis as well as fourier transform infrared spectroscopy have been used to both characterise the inorganic composition and the binding media used. The analytical results showed that the materials composition and technique used to plaster applied on the wooden surface are in good agreement with the information gathered through the historical survey. The coffin was in bad and poor condition. There was cracking on the surface and in the structure, serious flaking, cupping of some pigments and serious damage in both the wooden support and gesso layer. Conservation treatment processes carried out included consolidation of lifting areas of the paint film, disturbing restoration materials, repair of cracks in the wooden support and a dry surface cleaning of the pigments.

Background: People who have underlying medical conditions and those over 60 years old have a higher risk of developing coronavirus disease complications (COVID-19) with more mortality rate. Breathing exercises is good for clearing the mucus from lungs and improves chest expansion while circulatory exercises enhance cardiopulmonary/vascular systems. Aim: This study aims to suggest exercise program for prevention, decrease morbidity and mortality in COVID-19 patients and patients with other respiratory co-morbidities. Conclusion: Regular simple exercises include respiratory and circulatory exercises may have a great effect on improving lung function and immunity in addition to relieving psychological stress thus can help in treatment of high risk people from COVID-19.

T-Helper I Cell/T-Helper 2 Cell Balance with Anti Inflammatory Therapy in Partly Controlled Asthmatic Children

The authors aimed to assess Thl （T-helper cell 1）/Th2 （T-helper cell 2） balance, through evaluation of serum IFN-γ （interferon gamma） and IL-4 （interleukin 4）, during asthma exacerbation and study the effect of anti inflammatory therapy. A randomized prospective case-control study was designed. The sludy included 30 asthmatic patients, aging 8-14 years. All were diagnosed as partly controlled asthmatics. Twenty, age and sex matched, healthy children were included in the study as control group All participants were subjected to medical history, clinical examination, pulmonary function testing, eosinophilic blood counting, estimation of serum interleukine-4 and interferon gamma. Patients were treated for 6 weeks with 2 different anti inflammatory drugs. All methods were then repeated for follow up. IL-4 serum level was significantly higher in subjects with partly controlled asthma than in control subjects （P = 0.01）, and then in asthmatic patients after therapy （P = 0.0000）, while IFN-）, serum level was significantly lower in subjects with partly controlled asthma than in control subjects （P = 0.01）, and than in asthmatic patients after therapy （P = 0.0000）. Interferon gamma showed a significant negative correlation with IL-4 among the healthy control group （r = -0.559, P = 0.010）. Both LTA （leukotriene antagonist） and ICS （inhaled corticosteroids） therapy lead to significant improvement, but there were no statistically significant differences （P 〉 0.05） between them as regard the pulmonary functions and the laboratory evaluating parameters. Both serum levels of IL-4 and IFN-γ, could be used as a reliable inflammatory biomarker for the evaluation and follow up of asthmatic patients.

Diagnostic value of dobutamine stress Doppler tissue imaging in diabetic patients with suspected coronary artery disease

Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is often silent in diabetic patients, and it is typically in ad-vanced stages of development by the time it manifests. Various forms of stress testing have been investigated to detect obstructive CAD in diabetes mellitus. Ob-jectives: To assess the diagnostic value of dobutamine stress pulsed-wave Doppler tissue imaging (DTI) compared with standard wall motion analysis in de-tection of myocardial ischemia in diabetic patients with suspected CAD. Methods: The study comprised 46 diabetic patients with suspected CAD underwent dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE) with DTI within 4 weeks before coronary angiography(CA). Dobutamine infusion started at 5 μ/kg/min and in-creased up to 40 μ/kg/min with additional atropine during submaximal heart rate responses. In addition to wall-motion score index (WMSI) analysis, pulsed- wave DTI examination of basal and mid segments of posteroseptal, lateral, anterior, inferior and antero- septal walls was performed. Myocardial velocities were measured at rest in the apical 4, 3 and 2-cham- ber views. The measurements were repeated at low dose (10 - 15 μ/kg/min) and at peak stress (40 μ/kg/min). DTI measurements included peak systolic velocity (S), peak early diastolic velocity (E) and peak late diastolic velocity (A) and the results were com-pared to WMSI analysis. Patients were classified into two groups according to CA results;group (I) di-abetics with positive CA (n = 27) and group (II) di-abetics with negative CA (n = 19). Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups in duration of diabetes, global WMSI at rest or the ? changes (stress-rest/rest) of WMSI (P > 0.05). Global S and global E were significantly lower in group I compared to group II at peak stress (11.3 ± 3.7 cm/sec vs. 14.5 ± 2.2 cm/sec, p < 0.01) and (11.3 ± 1.6 cm/sec vs. 13.1 ± 2.1 cm/sec, p < 0.01) respectively. Background: Complications linked to postpartum & pregnancy are one of the major causes of female death. In order to understand the causes of complications and encourage women to take sufficient action in order to receive emergency treatment, a critical step should therefore be taken to minimize complications related to pregnancy, in order to ensure the safety of both women and newborns. Aim of the work: Evaluate the effectiveness of the education programs for pregnant women on obstetric danger signs in rural areas and help minimize the incidence of pregnancy loss and comorbidities.
