hpylori is now accepted as the cause of gastritis and gastritis-associated diseases, such as duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, gastric carcinoma, and gastric MALT lymphoma. The natural history of h pylori gastritis includes inflammation progressing from the antrum into the adjacent corpus resulting in an atrophic front of advancing injury leading to a reduction in acid secretion and eventual loss of parietal cells and development of atrophy. Sub-typing intestinal metaplasia has no clinical value to the patient, the pathologist, or the endoscopist. The pattern, extent, and severity of atrophy, with or without intestinal metaplasia, is a far more important predictor than is intestinal metaplasia subtype. The challenge remains to identify a reliable marker that relates to pre-malignant potential.

COVID-19 prompted an abundance of independent and collaborative quick response disaster research(QRDR)initiatives *** 2020 federal COVID-19-driven granting opportunities initiated the first official QRDR effort in Canadian history,engaging social scientists to rapidly address the pandemic-related societal *** study aims to portray the landscape of this nascent social science QRDR workforce through the first round of federal COVID-19-specific grant recipients.A case study approach was employed to analyze 337 social science projects with 1119 associated researchers,examining the demographic structure of these COVID-19-driven social science researchers and their research projects'***,the findings are presented through the following two streams:(1)From a researcher perspective,this case study describes researcher typology,geographic location,primary discipline,and educational background,highlighting the diverse characteristics of social sciences researchers,and uneven research development across Canada.(2)From a research project perspective,this case study identifies and synthesizes research project subjects,themes,collaborations,and Canadian distinctions,emphasizing the need for galvanizing cooperation and focusing on uniquely Canadian *** case study illustrates challenges associated with data curation that pose barriers to developing a nuanced understanding of the Canadian social science community COVID-19 research ***,the case study develops three recommendations to improve QRDR development in Canada:promoting information transparency,dissemination,and updates;improving hazards and disaster research workforce evaluation;and enhancing multi-stakeholder cooperation.

Mineralogical and geochemical characteristics of stream sediments collected from 30 stations in the Dahab-Wadi Kid area(southeastern Sinai,Egypt)are *** studied sediments contain considerable amounts of heavy minerals,including abundant Fe–Ti oxides,with up to 25.94%index figure that measures the relative abundance of heavy minerals to light *** of the sediments and nature of Fe–Ti oxide intergrowths,in addition to some non-opaque heavy minerals,indicate multiple provenances with contributions from a variety of Neoproterozoic mafic to felsic *** amounts of heavy minerals are derived from schists that belong to the so-called Wadi Kid volcanosedimentary *** to the considerable contribution of the felsic intrusions represented by within-plate granites,the sediments are enriched in REE-bearing minerals(e.g.,monazite,cerianite,La-cerianite and allanite),V-bearing thorite,zircon,and a ZrO_(2) *** majority of Fe–Ti oxides are derived from the mafic intrusions,and they show evidence of pre-,syn-and post-depositional phases of alteration and formation of *** to the geochemical signature of the bulk silt fraction,there is remarkable enrichment of LREEs with distinct negative Eu anomaly,and this supports dominance of a provenance dominated by felsic intrusions(i.e.,the A-type within-plate granite and associated pegmatites).Also,the felsic provenance is responsible for slight abnormality of ∑PU+Th content(up to~37 ppm)and few anomalous samples bear uraniferous zircon and Ce-type *** present paper sheds light on the fertility of the Dahab stream sediments in some economic minerals for possible future exploitation,not for gold only,but for potential REEbearing minerals that are needed for a wide spectrum of modern technological industries.

白光LED作为第四代照明光源已经广泛应用到人们生活的各个领域,其中荧光粉是获得高性能白光LED的关键材料之一。如何用简单的方法制备高性能的荧光粉是目前研究人员的一个挑战性工作。本文采用高温固相法,加入助熔剂h_(3)BO_(3)、Nh_(4)Cl、SrF_(2)、LiF和BaF_(2),成功制备了BaAl_(4)Sb_(2)O_(12)∶Eu^(2+)(BASO∶Eu^(2+))荧光粉。通过晶体结构分析、发射光谱、X射线光电子能谱(XPS)以及荧光寿命分析,表明过量的Sb_(2)O_(3)能够有效地将Eu^(3+)还原成Eu^(2+),提高Eu^(2+)在563 nm处的荧光强度约12.5倍,内量子效率(IQE)可以达到96.14%。另外,还研究了不同助熔剂对荧光粉晶体结构、荧光强度以及内量子效率的影响。本实验采用的方法简单,避免使用具有一定危险的还原性气体烧结,易于工业化应用以及降低生产成本。

In this study, a novel approach for dynamic modeling and closed-loop control of hybrid grid-connected renewable energy system with multi-input multi-output(MIMO) controller is proposed. The studied converter includes two parallel DC-DC boost converters, which are connected into the power grid through a single-phase h-bridge inverter. The proposed MIMO controller is developed for maximum power point tracking of photovoltaic(PV)/fuel-cell(FC) input power sources and output power control of the grid-connected DC-AC inverter. Considering circuit topology of the system, a unique MIMO model is proposed for the analysis of the entire system. A unique model of the system includes all of the circuit state variables in DCDC and DC-AC converters. In fact, from the viewpoint of closed-loop controller design, the hybrid grid-connected energy system is an MIMO system. The control inputs of the system are duty cycles of the DC-DC boost converters and the amplitude modulation index of DC-AC inverters. Furthermore, the control outputs are the output power of the PV/FC input power sources as well as AC power injected into the power grid. After the development of the unique model for the entire system, a decoupling network is introduced for system input-output linearization due to inherent connection of the control outputs with all of the system inputs. Considering the decoupled model and small signal linearization, the required linear controllers are designed to adjust the outputs. Finally, to evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of the designed controllers, the PV/FC based grid-connected system is simulated using the MATLAB/Simulink toolbox.

New data are presented for the rare-metal bearing A-type granitoids of the AlGhurayyah stock in the northwestern segment of the Arabian Shield, a composite pluton intruding metamorphosed volcano-sedimentary successions of the Silasia Formation. Metals in the granitoids are variably enriched, with up to 1 990 μg/g Zn, 7 680 μg/g Zr, 2 316 μg/g Nb, 232 μg/g Ta, 485 μg/g hf, 670 μg/g Th, 137 μg/g U and 1 647 μg/g total rare earth elements(REE). The silexite is highly mineralized and yields higher maximum concentrations of several metals than the granitoids, including up to 1 860 μg/g Y, 9 400 μg/g Zr, 878 μg/g hf, 1 000 μg/g Th, and 2 029 μg/g total REE. The Al-Ghurayyah stock has been assigned to an intraplate setting. Lithospheric delamination led to generation of mantle melts that supplied heat to melt the juvenile crust of the ANS. The fluorine and rare-metal enriched parental magma evolved by fractional crystallization. The quartz-rich silexite, distinct in character from ordinary hydrothermal vein quartz, is inferred to be co-genetic with the granitoids on the basis of their similar REE patterns;it is interpreted as a small volume of residual magma enriched in SiO2, volatiles, and trace metals. Mineralization took place both at the magmatic stage and later during a hydrothermal stage that concentrated these elements to economic grades.
