AIM：To represent mathematically the intersection between the ectatic corneal geometry and the plane of intracorneal ring implants（ICRS）in order to determine the corneal response to ICRS surgery in keratoconus（KC）.Thereafter,to present the concept and early results of a newly derived topography-guided nomogram for ICRS surgery for the treatment of keratectasia. METHODS：The corneal rings plane intersection was modelled to a conic section. Ring effect was the result of：the ring size,position（steep vs flat）,location（distance from the geometric centre of the cornea）,and the discrepancy between the ring＇s curvature and the tunnel＇s *** laser was used to create the tunnels and the incision sites were chosen according to the nomogram in order to place the thickest ring in the steepest portion of the cornea regardless of the astigmatism axis of ***：The conic section had a more prolate shape in the steep area of the cornea than in the flat area,depending on the corneal sagittal curvature. Equal ring size had more flattening effect in the steep area than in the flat area. Thick segment should be implanted under the steep portion of the cornea regardless of the cylinder axis of refraction. Single segment in the steep area was sufficient in early and moderate cases of KC. The new nomogram provided more topographic regularity with significant reduction of astigmatism and better improvement in uncorrected visual acuity（UCVA）and best-corrected visual acuity（BCVA）than the conventional nomogram. CONCLUSION：The newly derived nomogram can produce better results than the conventional nomogram. Moreover,based on this concept,a new nomogram can be integrated into the femtosecond laser software to create topography-guided,customized,elliptical tunnels with modified focal asphericity that allows for customized focal flattening of the irregularly steepened ectatic cornea.

This paper introduces an Improved RC6(IRC6)cipher for data encryption based on data-dependent *** proposed scheme is designed with the potential of meeting the needs of the Advanced Encryption Standard(AES).four parameters are used to characterize the proposed *** parameters are the size of the word(w)in bits,the number of rounds(r),the length of the secret key(b)in bytes,and the size of the block(L)in *** main feature of IRC6 is the variable number of working registers instead of just four registers as in RC6,resulting in a variable block size for plaintext and *** IRC6 cipher is designed to improve the robustness against attacks by increasing the diffusion for each round and providing greater security with fewer *** effectiveness of the proposed IRC6 scheme is verified against theoretical *** proposed IRC6 scheme depends on full diffusion and confusion mechanisms regardless of the utilized block *** proposed IRC6 scheme saves 70%of the encryption time and 64%of the decryption time of *** simulation results prove that the IRC6 achieves a better encryption/decryption time compared to the ***,the proposed IRC6 is anticipated to fulfill the market needs and system security requirements.

Objective:To characterize,identify and investigate the anticancer properties of two new soil fungal isolates,Emericella nidulansand fusarium solani isolated from Wady el-Natron in Egypt against colon cancer Caco-2(ATCCj cell ***:Soil sample was cultured and two strains were chosen for morphological and phenotypical *** sequences of the 18s rRNA gene and the internal transcribed spacer region ITS of the two isolates were amplified by *** tree construction and analysis of the resulted multiple sequences from the two fugal isolates were also carried *** vitro anticancer activity of the two strains was done against colon Caco-2 cancer cell *** transcription — PCR was carried out to detect level of expression of p53 in Caco-2 cell ***:Hf.I displayed morphological and genotypic characteristics most similar to that of fusarium solani while Hf.2 was most similar to Emericella nidulans with high similarity of 99%and 97%*** multiple sequence alignment of the two fungal isolates showed that,the maximum identical conserved domains in the 18s rRNA genes were identified with the nucleotide regions of Slst to 399th base pairs,88th to 525th base pairs *** those in the ITS genes were identified with the nucleotide regions of 88th to 463rd and Slst to *** two isolates showed ICsub>50 value with（6.24±5.21） and（9.84±0.36） μ g/mL) concentrations respectively at *** transcription- PCR indicated that these cells showed high level of expression for p53 ***:The morphology and molecular analysis identified Hf.1 and Hf.2 to be fusarium solani and Emericella nidulans;new isolates of anticancer producing fungi from Wady el-Natroon city in *** with the two isolates caused P53 expression in Caco-2 cell *** two isolates can be used as an anticancer agents.

In the last few years,videos became the most common form of information transmitted over the internet,and a lot of the traffic is confidential and must be protected and delivered safely to its intended *** introduces the challenges of presenting encryption systems that can encode videos securely and efficiently at the same *** paper presents an efficient opto-video encryption system using Logistic Adjusted Sine map(LASM)in the fractional fourier Transform(frfT).In the presented opto-video LASM-based frfT scheme,the encoded video is split into distinct frames and transformed into optical signals utilizing an optical *** of the developed optical video frames is ciphered by utilizing the LASM in optical frfT system using two-phase modulation forms on the video frame,the first in the time-domain and the second in the frfT *** the end,the ciphervideo frame is spotted utilizing a CCD digital camera and transformed into a digital structure that can be managed using a *** test the proposed opto-video LASM-based frfT scheme using various security *** outcomes demonstrate that the presented scheme can effectively encrypt and decrypt video *** addition,it encrypts videos with a high level of encryption qualitywithout sacrificing its resistance to noise ***,the test outcomes demonstrate that the presented scheme is immune to known attacks.

AIM:To evaluate the effect of chronic mild stress(CMS) on the emergence of gastric ulcers and possible modulation by octreotide,a synthetic somatostatin analogue. METHODS:Adult male Wistar rats were subjected to nine different unpredictable random stress procedures for 21 d,a multifactorial interactional animal model for *** was administered daily for 21 d at two dose levels(50 and 90μg/kg)before exposure to stress ***-and microscopical assessments were made,in addition to quantification of plasma corticosterone and gastric mucosal inflammatory,oxidative stress, and apoptotic biomarkers. RESULTS:Exposure to CMS elevated plasma corticosterone(28.3±0.6μg/dL,P=0.002),an event that was accompanied by gastric lesions(6.4±0.16 mm,P=0.01) and confirmed ***,the insult elevated gastric mucosal lipid peroxides(13±0.5 nmol/g tissue,P=0.001),tumor necrosis factor-α(3008.6±78.18 pg/g tissue,Pely,CMS mitigated interleukin-10(627.9±12.82 pg/g tissue,P= 0.001).furthermore,in animals exposed to CMS,octreotide restored plasma corticosterone(61%and 71%from CMS,P=0.002)at both dose *** beneficial effects were associated with a remarkable suppression of gastric lesions(38%and 9%from CMS,P=0.01)and reversal of derangements in gastric mucosa. CONCLUSION:The current investigation provides evidence that exposure to CMS induces gastric ulceration, which was alleviated by administration of octreotide possibly possessing antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and anti-apoptotic actions.

Objective:To investigate the activity of Egyptian propolis extracts(ethanol and water)on cryptosporidiosis in experimentally infected dexamethasone-immunosuppressed ***:A total of 180 male rats(190-220)g BWt were randomly divided into 9 equal groups(G1-G9).Groups of rats were kept as(G1):normal control,(G2-G9):immunosuppressed with dexamethasone and(G3-G9):infected with Cryptosporidium *** from(G4to G9)were given orally ethanol and water extract of propolis(at a dose of 50 mg/kg BWt)and nitazoxanide(standard anti-cryptosporidial drug at a dose of 100 mg/kg BWt)to infected rats with different *** pellets were collected from all groups to monitor oocysts shedding from the 2nd to the 15th day post *** the end of the experiment,blood was collected from all groups for determination of leukogram and serum *** specimens were also examined ***:The highest reduction of oocysts shedding in faecal samples was 88%in rats prophylactically treated with propolis ethanol extract at the 4th dpi,and in rats prophylactically treated with water extract of propolis,was91%at the 6th *** was a marked increase in neutrophils count and α_2-andβ-globulins levels in infected rats treated with both extracts,while a significant decrease was detected in lymphocytes compared to the infected non treated group.β-globulin level markedly increased in the rats administered *** changes were observed in the ileum of rats infected with ***:Egyptian propolis extracts have an activity on cryptosporidiosis in ***,propolis modulated the immunity in dexamethasone-immunosuppressed rats.

The design of multiband microstrip rectenna for radio frequency energy harvesting applications is presented in this paper. The designed antenna has good performance in the GSM-900/1800, Wifi and WLAN bands. In addition, the rectifier circuit is designed at multi resonant frequencies to collect the largest amount of Rf ambient power from different Rf sources. The developed antenna is matched with the rectifier at four desired frequencies using several rectifier branches to collect the largest of Rf power. The proposed rectenna is printed on fR4 substrate with modified ground plane to achieve suitable impedance bandwidth. The proposed antenna consists of elliptical radiating plane with stubs and stepped modified ground plane. The rectenna resonates at quad frequency bands at (GSM 900/1800, Wifi band and WLAN bands) with rectifier power conversion efficiency up to 56.4% at 0 dBm input power using the HSMS-2850 Schottky diode. The efficiency is more enhanced by using SMS-7630-061 Schottky diode which is characterized by a low junction capacitance and a low threshold voltage to achieve higher conversion efficiency up to 71.1% at the same 0 dBm input power for the same resonating frequency band.

The worldwide mortality rate due to cancer is second only to cardiovascular *** discovery of image processing,latest artificial intelligence techniques,and upcoming algorithms can be used to effectively diagnose and prognose cancer faster and reduce the mortality *** applying these latest techniques has increased the survival chances during recent *** research community is making significant continuous progress in developing automated tools to assist dermatologists in decision *** datasets used for the experimentation and analysis are ISBI 2016,ISBI 2017,and HAM *** this work pertained models are used to extract the efficient *** pertained models applied are ResNet,InceptionV3,and classical feature extraction *** that,efficient preprocessing is conducted on dermoscopic images by applying various data augmentation ***,for classification,convolution neural networks were *** classify dermoscopic images on HAM 1000 Dataset,the maximum attained accuracy is 89.30%for the proposed *** other parameters for measuring the performance attained 87.34%(Sen),86.33%(Pre),88.44%(f1-S),and 11.30%false-negative rate(fNR).The class with the highest TP rate is 97.6%for Melanoma;whereas,the lowest TP rate was for the Dermatofibroma *** dataset ISBI2016,the accuracy achieved is 97.0%with the proposed classifier,whereas the other parameters for validation are 96.12%(Sen),97.01%(Pre),96.3%(f1-S),and further 3.7%(fNR).for the experiment with the ISBI2017 dataset,Sen,Pre,f1-S,and fNR were 93.9%,94.9%,93.9%,and 5.2%,respectively.
