This present study includes twelve species that represent the Ficus genus,namely;aspera,carica,tinctoria ***,hirta,hispida,neriifolia,palmata,pumila,racemosa,septica,sur,and sycomorus,belonging to the Moraceae *** species samples were collected from various locations in *** study focused on the anatomical and molecular characteristics of mature foliage *** the identification and classification of taxa are highly dependent on the anatomical features of leaves,the anatomical characteristics were recorded in the form of a comparison between the examined plants in the data *** study aims to contribute to the identification of the studied species based on the anatomical details of the matured *** characterization includes the variations in upper and lower epidermal layers that are covered by a thin or thick cuticle;the number of palisade and spongy layers;crystals;secretory elements;lithocysts;the midrib zone has parenchyma associated with mechanical tissue,vascular system,and investigation of trichomes;on the other hand,in the current study,the phylogenetic analysis was conducted by using the ITS and 5.8 S *** the analysis of all the available data,it could be stated that there is an overall agreement with the anatomical character dendrogram.

Intelligent Multiclass Skin Cancer Detection Using Convolution Neural Networks

The worldwide mortality rate due to cancer is second only to cardiovascular *** discovery of image processing,latest artificial intelligence techniques,and upcoming algorithms can be used to effectively diagnose and prognose cancer faster and reduce the mortality *** applying these latest techniques has increased the survival chances during recent *** research community is making significant continuous progress in developing automated tools to assist dermatologists in decision *** datasets used for the experimentation and analysis are ISBI 2016,ISBI 2017,and HAM *** this work pertained models are used to extract the efficient *** pertained models applied are ResNet,InceptionV3,and classical feature extraction *** that,efficient preprocessing is conducted on dermoscopic images by applying various data augmentation ***,for classification,convolution neural networks were *** classify dermoscopic images on HAM 1000 Dataset,the maximum attained accuracy is 89.30%for the proposed *** other parameters for measuring the performance attained 87.34%(Sen),86.33%(Pre),88.44%(F1-S),and 11.30%false-negative rate(FNR).The class with the highest TP rate is 97.6%for Melanoma;whereas,the lowest TP rate was for the Dermatofibroma *** dataset ISBI2016,the accuracy achieved is 97.0%with the proposed classifier,whereas the other parameters for validation are 96.12%(Sen),97.01%(Pre),96.3%(F1-S),and further 3.7%(FNR).For the experiment with the ISBI2017 dataset,Sen,Pre,F1-S,and FNR were 93.9%,94.9%,93.9%,and 5.2%,respectively.

Information security is the backbone of current intelligent systems,such as the Internet of Things(IoT),smart grids,and Machine-to-Machine(M2M)*** increasing threat of information security requires new models to ensure the safe transmission of information through such ***,quantum systems have drawn much attention since they are expected to have a significant impact on the research in information *** paper proposes a quantum teleportation scheme based on controlled multi-users to ensure the secure information transmission among *** teleportation is an original key element in a variety of quantum information tasks as well as quantum-based technologies,which plays a pivotal role in the current progress of quantum computing and *** the proposed scheme,the sender transmits the information to the receiver under the control of a third user or ***,we show that the efficiency of the proposed scheme depends on the properties of the transmission channel and the honesty of the *** with various teleportation scheme presented recently in the literature,the most important difference in the proposed scheme is the possibility of suspicion about the honesty of the controller and,consequently,taking proper precautions.

Enhancing Cancer Classification through a Hybrid Bio-Inspired Evolutionary Algorithm for Biomarker Gene Selection

In this study,our aim is to address the problem of gene selection by proposing a hybrid bio-inspired evolutionary algorithm that combines Grey Wolf Optimization(GWO)with Harris Hawks Optimization(HHO)for feature *** for utilizingGWOandHHOstems fromtheir bio-inspired nature and their demonstrated success in optimization *** aimto leverage the strengths of these algorithms to enhance the effectiveness of feature selection in microarray-based cancer *** selected leave-one-out cross-validation(LOOCV)to evaluate the performance of both two widely used classifiers,k-nearest neighbors(KNN)and support vector machine(SVM),on high-dimensional cancer microarray *** proposed method is extensively tested on six publicly available cancer microarray datasets,and a comprehensive comparison with recently published methods is *** hybrid algorithm demonstrates its effectiveness in improving classification performance,Surpassing alternative approaches in terms of *** outcomes confirm the capability of our method to substantially improve both the precision and efficiency of cancer classification,thereby advancing the development ofmore efficient treatment *** proposed hybridmethod offers a promising solution to the gene selection problem in microarray-based cancer *** improves the accuracy and efficiency of cancer diagnosis and treatment,and its superior performance compared to other methods highlights its potential applicability in realworld cancer classification *** harnessing the complementary search mechanisms of GWO and HHO,we leverage their bio-inspired behavior to identify informative genes relevant to cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Diverse features of magnetization curves of uniaxial crystals：A simulation study

We present a simulation of the magnetization curves, energy, probability, and torque landscapes of uniaxial systems with up to five anisotropy constants. The total energy used in the simulation is the sum of the anisotropy and Zeeman energies. The exchange interaction is not considered in the present work in which we treat single-domain-particle systems within a classical mechanics-based model. Diverse features of the calculated magnetization curves are highlighted for the studied systems. These diverse features are strongly dependent on the sign and magnitude of the simulation *** model is versatile enough to handle both hypothetical and real material systems, e.g. HoFe（11）Ti and Y2Co（17）.

Hpylori is now accepted as the cause of gastritis and gastritis-associated diseases, such as duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, gastric carcinoma, and gastric MALT lymphoma. The natural history of H pylori gastritis includes inflammation progressing from the antrum into the adjacent corpus resulting in an atrophic front of advancing injury leading to a reduction in acid secretion and eventual loss of parietal cells and development of atrophy. Sub-typing intestinal metaplasia has no clinical value to the patient, the pathologist, or the endoscopist. The pattern, extent, and severity of atrophy, with or without intestinal metaplasia, is a far more important predictor than is intestinal metaplasia subtype. The challenge remains to identify a reliable marker that relates to pre-malignant potential.

Nucleotide Sequence Assessment of Four ORFs of Citrus Tristeza Virus: Evidence of Recombination

Citrus Tristeza Virus(CTV),usually occurs in nature as a mixture of *** naturally infected citrus(Citrus sinensis)trees grafted on sour orange rootstock were collected from three citrus growing governorates in Egypt(Sharqia,Qalyubia and Garbia).In this study,RT-PCR,Single-Strand Conformation Polymorphism(SSCP)and nucleotide sequence analysis were used for four independent CTV genomic regions(p65,p18,p20,and p23)to detect and assess the sequence and genetic variabilities among CTV Egyptian *** products(650 bp)for the CTV p23 gene obtained from the selected isolates were used for the SSCP analysis and DNA *** patterns of p23 gene for individual isolates yielded different complex haplotype *** sequence analysis of p23 region amplified from six isolates under study revealed that p23 shared high nucleotide identity 98.7%with T36 isolate from USA,*** analysis of p23 gene indicated a close evolutionary relationship between all examined isolates and Qaha isolate(T36 isolate group),suggesting that they may have originated from closely related *** sequence analysis of the three genes located on CTV 3′-coterminal overhang,p18,p20 and p65,amplified from isolate A3,Sharqia governorate,revealed that the p18,p65,and p20 genes were related to the T3-KB isolate from South Africa with 99%–100%sequence *** relationship analysis for p65,p18 and p20 ORFs clustered the current A3 isolate with T3 genotype *** recombination analysis identified three of six isolates from Sharqia,and Garbia as potential recombinant for p23 *** isolates T36 and T3 were identified as major donors for recombination events in isolate *** results concluded that p23 ORF likely to be as a hotspot region for recombination and originated through recombination *** current study indicated that recombination is an important factor for the origin of CTV strains in Egypt.

Preliminary Study of a Hybrid Helicon-ECR Plasma Source

A new type of hybrid discharge is experimentally investigated in this work. A helicon source and an electron cyclotron resonance（ECR） source were combined to produce plasma. As a preliminary study of this type of plasma, the optical emission spectroscopy（OES） method was used to obtain values of electron temperature and density under a series of typical conditions. Generally,it was observed that the electron temperature decreases and the electron density increases as the pressure increased. When increasing the applied power at a certain pressure, the average electron density at certain positions in the discharge does not increase significantly possibly due to the high degree of neutral depletion. Electron temperature increased with power in the hybrid *** mechanisms of these preliminary observations are discussed.

Prevalence and factors associated with irritable bowel syndrome among university students in Lebanon:Findings from a cross-sectional study

AIM: To describe the bowel habits and the prevalence of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) and to investigate the influence of health behavior and social factors on IBS prevalence in university students. METHODS: This cross-sectional study was conducted at five major universities in Greater Beirut and its suburbs, between February and June 2014. Using a convenience sample, a total of 813 students aged 18 years old and above participated in this study. Participants were asked to complete a comprehensive anonymous questionnaire which detailed characteristics on socio-demographic, health-related, and lifestyle factors, as well as IBS. The ROME Ⅲ criteria were used as a tool to ascertain IBS. A χ2 test was used to determine differences between categorical variables; stepwise logistic regression was used to measure the association between IBS and its risk ***: An overall prevalence of IBS of 20% was recorded among university students. The bivariate analysis showed that females were significantly more likely to report having IBS than males(29.1% vs 18.2%, P 2000) were almost 6 times more likely to report havingIBS than their ***: This is the first study to describe the nature of IBS among young adults in Lebanon. The prevalence of IBS among university students in our sample was higher than that reported in the West.
