Soil oxa.a.e degra.ing ba.teria.is a. importa.t source for removing of toxic oxa.a.e compounds. Isola.ion, screening, cha.a.teriza.ion, identifica.ion a.d fingerprint of the soil oxa.a.e degra.ing ba.teria.from Egyptia. fertile soil wa. a.med in this work. Isola.ed ba.teria.were first cha.a.terized using a.I 20 NE system. Nine Ra.D primers were used in genetic fingerprinting of the cha.a.terized ba.teria.using Ra.D-PCR. The prelimina.y cha.a.teriza.ion a.d polypha.ic ta.onomy for mesophilic, a.robic oxa.a.e-degra.ing ba.teria.isola.ed from Egyptia. fertile soil including a.xa.ogra.hy using a.I ga.leries confirmed tha. the isola.e belonged to the genus Burkholderia.cepa.ia. the percenta.e of identity wa. 99.8% for 5167777 profiles. Fingerprinting by Ra.D-PCR showed a.DNa.fingerprint ra.ging from 0 to 9 ba.ds, over a.size ra.ge of 344 bp to 3,280 bp.

Culture ha. a. enormous impa.t on individua.s’ food choices a.d pra.tices. This resea.ch a.med to screen cultura. ea.ing pra.tices a.ong Jorda.ia.s. Jorda.ia. a.ults (N = 4750) completed a.survey with rega.d to common ea.ing pra.tices in Jorda.. Pra.tices were cla.sified into 4 themes, na.ely regula. ea.ing pra.tices (7 pra.tices), sea.ona. ea.ing pra.tices (4 pra.tices), ea.ing pra.tices in socia. occa.ions (6 pra.tices), a.d ea.ing pra.tices in religious occa.ions (10 pra.tices). Interestingly, most nutritiona. pra.tices during Ra.a.a. a.d Eids (religious occa.ions) were a.reed upon from 100% of the pa.ticipa.ing sa.ple. In conclusion, culture in Jorda. ha. a.huge influences ea.ing pra.tices a.d food choice. Nega.ive culture’s influence over ea.ing pra.tices ma. exist, thus increa.ing a.a.eness a.out unhea.thy ea.ing pra.tices rela.ed to culture is necessa.y.

Objectives: The impa.rment of right ventricula. (RV) myoca.dia. mecha.ics is evident in hypertrophic ca.diomyopa.hy (HCM). It is independently influenced by LV mecha.ics a.d correla.ed to the severity of LV phenotype. We investiga.ed the cha.ges in RV globa. a.d regiona. deforma.ion following surgica. septa. myectomy using vector velocity ima.ing (VVI). Methods: 25 HCM pa.ients, 68% ma.es with mea. a.e (34.5 ± 12 yea.s) were exa.ined before a.d within two months a.ter surgica. myectomy using VVI. In a.dition to conventiona. echoca.diogra.hic pa.a.eters, pea. systolic stra.n (εsys), stra.n ra.e (SR) a.d time to pea. εsys (TTP) of regiona. RV free wa.l (RVFW) & septa. wa.ls were a.a.yzed in longitudina. (long) directions from a.ica. four-cha.ber view a.d their (Δ) cha.ges were ca.cula.ed. Simila. pa.a.eters were qua.tified in LV from a.ica. 2 & 4 CH views. Intra.V-dela. wa. defined a. SD of TTP a.d inter-V dyssynchrony wa. estima.ed from TTP difference between the most dela.ed LV segment & RVFW. Results: a.l study pa.ients showed improvement of their functiona. cla.s from NYHa.cla.s III to cla.s I a.d reduction of LVOT gra.ient to below 20 mmHg except one pa.ient who ha. 30 mmHg gra.ients a. rest. Pa.sive RFID ta.s ba.ed on na.row ba.d a.sorbers a.e proposed for ra.lwa. a.plica.ions. The ta.s consist of a.sorbing tiles of size 30 × 30 cm2. The de-signs of these na.row ba.d a.sorbers a.e presented ba.ed on infinite a.ra. a.proxima.ion by using periodic bounda.y conditions. Then, the ra.a. cross sections (RCS) of finite tiles of these designed a.sorbers a.e compa.ed with the corresponding RCS of a.conduction pla.e of the sa.e size of the tiles. The difference between the RCS of the a.sorbing tiles a.d the conducting tiles corresponds to the RFID digit “1” or “0”. a. experientia. verifica.ion for a.sa.ple of these na.row ba.d a.sorbers is presented ba.ed on mea.uring a.fi-nite tile inside a.tra.sverse electroma.netic (TEM) cell. Voigt permea.ility,μv, either nega.ive or positive. The sensitivity is proven to be a.fected by different pa.a.eters including the film thickness, LHM pa.a.eters, a.d Voigt frequency.

Introduction: The burden of prosta.ic ca.cer is rising in Suda.. Usua.ly, they present la.e in their disea.e with urina.y tra.t obstruction, hema.uria. bony pa.n, or ca.hexia.beca.se there is no screening progra.. Here we present a.pa.ient with prosta.ic ca.cer who presented with left a.illa.y ma.s a. his ma.n concern. Ca.e Description: 82-yea.-old Suda.ese ma.e presented with a.left a.illa.y a.d left supra.la.icula. lympha.enopa.hy of a.few months’ dura.ion. He underwent a.decisiona. biopsy which showed meta.ta.ic a.enoca.cinoma. Upper a.d lower GI endoscopy were performed but the la.ter wa. complica.ed by a.sigmoid perfora.ion with peritonitis. During la.a.a.omy, multiple enla.ged pelvic lymphnodes were encountered a.d a.biopsy result suggested a.meta.ta.ic prosta.ic neopla.m. La.er, prosta.ic biopsy confirmed the dia.nosis. The pa.ient wa. trea.ed with bila.era. orchidectomy. Clinica. discussion: Lympha.ic meta.ta.is to a.illa.y lymph nodes is a.very ra.e ma.ifesta.ion of prosta.e ca.cer a.d only a.few ca.es ha.e been reported in the litera.ure. It ca. ca.se dia.nostic difficulty since prosta.e ca.cer typica.ly meta.ta.is to the pelvic lymph node a.d very ra.ely involves he supra.ia.hra.ma.ic lymph node. Objectives: Left bundle bra.ch block (LBBB) is commonly a.socia.ed with hea.t fa.lure. We eva.ua.ed the preva.ence a.d impa.t of LBBB on left ventricula. mecha.ics using 2D stra.n ima.ing in pa.ients with idiopa.hic dila.ed ca.diomyopa.hy (IDCM). Methods: We included 101 pa.ients with IDCM with mea. a.e 38 ± 18 yea.s: 74% were ma.es a.d 13.9% of them were in NYHa.Cla.s III-IV. LBBB wa. present in 26 (37%) of included pa.ients. Myoca.dia. mecha.ics including longitudina., circumferentia. stra.n a.d rota.ion a.d LV synchroniza.ion were a.sessed using two-dimensiona. stra.n ima.ing. Results: LBBB group ha. higher LV volumes, a.d Pa. compa.ed with non LBBB. Pea. LV longitudina. systolic stra.n (εsys) of the septum a.d globa. LV SRsys were significa.tly lower in LBBB compa.ed to non LBBB group (P 0.01, 0.03). TTP-d wa. grea.er in LBBB in compa.ison to non LBBB group (274.5 ± 116 versus 209.4 ± 139, P 0.02). The electromecha.ica. dela. between septa. segments wa. 35 ± 18 ms a.d between la.era. wa.l segments: 48 ± 24 ms, between a.terior wa.l segments: 21 ± 11 a.d between inferior wa.l segments: 41 ± 12. Consequently, LV mecha.ica. dyssynchrony wa. more evident in IDCM pa.ients with LBBB. QRS width wa. correla.ed inversely with LV longitudina. stra.n a.d stra.n ra.e a.d electromecha.ica. dela. (P 0.0001) in non LBBB group. In LBBB QRS width wa. not rela.ed to ca.dia. mecha.ics. Using univa.ia.e a.a.ysis a.d a.ter a.multiple cova.ia.e a.justment, the ba.eline LBBB wa. a.socia.ed with a.significa.tly increa.ed LV dysfunction. Conclusion:a.ter correcting for potentia. confounders, LBBB wa. found to be a.socia.ed with more deteriora.ion of LV mecha.ics a.d exa.gera.ed LV dyssynchrony in pa.ients with IDCM.

The contempora.y developments of Informa.ion a.d Communica.ion Technologies usa.e ha.e fueled a.popula. concern. The young people a.e experiencing technology a.diction beha.ior due to excessive media.a.d technology usa.e. a.va.id instrument is required to detect individua.s a. high risk of socia. media.a.d technology a.diction. Objective: The objectives of this study a.e to a.sess preva.ence of the technology a.diction using the Media.a.d Technology Usa.e a.d a.titudes Sca.e (MTUa.) a.d to investiga.e the impa.ts of online socia. networking on hea.th a.d a.a.emic performa.ce of young university students in Leba.on. Methods: During the a.a.emic yea. 2017-2018, a.cross-sectiona. study which enrolled 705 young university students wa. conducted. Da.a.wa. collected using MTUa. questionna.re. The tra.sla.ion a.d cultura. a.a.ta.ion of the MTUa. followed a.sta.da.dized protocol. The psychometric properties were then eva.ua.ed. We used multiva.ia.e regression a.a.yses to determine which cha.a.teristics were a.socia.ed with the technology a.diction a.ong students. Results: 705 filled out the questionna.re a.ed 17 to 35 yea.s (mea. = 20.42;SD = 2.41), 74% of whom were fema.es. The interna. consistency wa. high for a.l subsca.es a.d ra.ged from 0.54 - 0.87. The MTUa. yielded sta.istica.ly significa.t scores for subgroups (known group va.idity). Ma.es’ students ha. a.higher risk of a.diction to socia. media.a.d technology tha. fema.es. The use of media.wa. viewed common a.ong the smokers (OR = 1.76;95% CI = 1.10 - 2.82, p = 0.02) a.d drinkers of a.cohol (OR = 1.80;95% CI = 1.04 - 3.11, p = 0.04). Students tha. used e-ma.ling, sma.tphone, a.d TV viewing ha. a.high a.a.emic performa.ce level. Fema.es a.d public university students ha. nega.ive a.titudes towa.d technology. In conclusion: The technology becomes a.big problem on the universities students’ users tha. ha. a. impa.t on their life a.d a.fects their a.a.emic performa.ce.
