(k, n) halftone visual cryptography based on Shamir＇ s secret sharing

（k, n） halftone visual cryptography （HVC） is proposed based on Shamir＇ s secret sharing （HVCSSS）, and through this method a binary secret image can be hided into n halftone images, and the secret image can be revealed from any k halftone images. Firstly, using Shamir＇ s secret sharing, a binary secret image can be shared into n meaningless shares; secondly, hiding n shares into n halftone images through self-hiding method; and then n extracted shares can be obtained from n halftone images through self-decrypt method; finally, picking any k shares from n extracted shares, the secret image can be revealed by using Lagrange interpolation. The main contribution is that applying Shamir＇ s secret sharing to realize a （k, n） HVC, and this method neither requires code book nor suffers from pixel expansion. Experimental results show HVCSSS can realize a （k, n） HVC in gray-scale and color halftone images, and correct decoding rate （CDR） of revealed secret image can be guaranteed.

This paper explores covert broadcast communication in a challenging situation in which the transmitter, Alice, faces uncertainty regarding the position of the passive adversary, Willie. In this situation,controlling the signal exposure becomes difficult. Specifically, this paper focuses on the cases where Alice can delimit the suspicious areas where Willie may be located. The suspicious areas can have arbitrary number and shapes. Under the Rician fading model, the analytical expression of Willie's detection performance is derived. Then, the transmit power, the beamforming direction, and the number of channel uses are jointly designed to minimize the optimal Willie's detection performance among all the possible positions of Willie, on the premise of satisfying receivers' quality-of-service requirements. To tackle the formulated knotty problem with an infinite number of irregular and discontinuous Willie's possible positions, the continuous nature of the antenna pattern is exploited to convert the original problem into the one with a finite number of possible positions, by sampling the suspicious areas. Then, different algorithms are developed to address the resultant non-convex optimization problem for single-antenna Willie and multi-antenna Willie, respectively. Numerical results demonstrate significant performance gains of the proposed scheme over the widely-adopted maximum ratio transmission scheme, which indicates that simply adjusting the main lobe towards the receiver is indeed far away from optimum and shows the importance of leveraging Alice's limited knowledge of Willie's position.

This paper investigates the physical layer security issue of the coordinated direct and untrusted relay transmissions, considering both uplink and downlink scenarios. To effectively prevent the untrusted relay from eavesdropping on the confidential information it receives, two novel interference-assisted jamming schemes are proposed, where the inter-user interference and the artificial noise are intelligently engineered to degrade the signal reception quality at the untrusted relay, therefore enhancing the physical layer security for the uplink and downlink coordinated transmission, respectively. For each of the two proposed jamming schemes, a lower bound for the ergodic secrecy sum rate(ESSR) is derived in closed form to evaluate the secrecy performance. To obtain more system design insights, we further provide an asymptotic analysis for the ESSR scaling laws over the regimes of the high signal-to-noise ratio and a large number of antennas at the base-station. We carry out computer simulations to confirm the accuracy of the derived theoretical *** simulation results show that the proposed jamming schemes achieve a similar asymptotic performance limit to the case of using a trusted relay. Moreover, the proposed jamming schemes guarantee perfect security for both uplink and downlink coordinated transmissions, and yield a significant ESSR improvement compared with three other baseline schemes.

This paper proposes a High quality data hiding in halftone image based on block conjugate(HQDHBC). We construct Least mean square filters(LMSF),and using LMSFs to evaluate the quality of halftone images. This paper proposes block conjugate property, and this property can be applied to hide a secret *** a data hiding method based on block conjugate can be proposed, and in this method two images should be divided into multiple blocks of M × N pixels, and in the corresponding block if the first M × N-1 pixels are conjugate or identical, the last pixel can implement normal halftone method instead of date hiding methods. Experimental results show that the proposed HQDHBC can be applied in gray-scale and color error diffused halftone images, and through implementing this method, not only the quality of halftone images can be improved, but also the Correct decoding rate(CDR) of revealed pattern can be guaranteed.

Thermosetting polyurethanes are widely used in various fields owing to their excellent elasticity,strength and solvent *** environmental friendly propyl gallate-based self-healing polyurethanes were prepared from polyurethane prepolymers with varying isocyanate *** thermal stabilities of the polyurethanes were tested using thermogravimetric *** self-healing and mechanical properties were analyzed using a universal testing machine and dynamic thermomechanical *** polyurethanes were found with high self-healing ability and excellent mechanical properties due to the absence of phenolic *** qualities improved with increased isocyanate content and the prolonged selfhealing *** found,therefore,that the propyl gallate-based polyurethane has potential for use in industrial applications as self-healing materials.

A water-soluble lubricant additive(RSOPE)was prepared by esterification reaction using fatty acid from rubber seed *** RSOPE was added into water-ethylene glycol(W-EG)solution as lubricant *** stability and rheological properties were *** used a four-ball tribotester to assess the lubrication performance of W-EG based fluid with the RSOPE *** stainless-steel surface was analyzed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).Good dispersion stability was observed in the RSOPE/W-EG ***,non-Newtonian fluid behavior at low shear rates and Newtonian fluid behavior at high shear rates was *** addition of RSOPE into water-glycol reduced the friction coefficients(COF)and wear scar diameters(WSD).The maximum non-seizure loads(PB)increased from 98 N to 752 N and the W-EG solution with RSOPE had good corrosion resistance *** tribological performances for W-EG solution with RSOPE were attributed to the boundary tribofilm composed of iron oxide,iron phosphide and so on.
