Incomplete lineage sorting and introgression are 2 major and nonexclusive causes of specieslevel *** between these 2 processes is notoriously difficult because they can generate similar genetic *** studies have suggested that 2 closely related duck species,the Chinese spot-billed duck Anas zonorhyncha and the mallard *** polyphyletically ***,we utilized a wide geographical sampling,multilocus data and a coalescent-based model to revisit this *** study confirms the finding that Chinese spot-billed ducks and Mallards are not *** was no apparent interspecific differentiation across loci except those at the mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)control region and the Z chromosome(CHD1Z).Based on an isolation-with-migration model and the geographical distribution of lineages,we suggest that both introgression and incomplete lineage sorting might contribute to the observed non-monophyly of the 2 closely related duck *** mtDNA introgression was asymmetric,with high gene flow from Chinese spot-billed ducks to Mallards and negligible gene flow in the opposite *** that the 2 duck species are phenotypically distinctive but weakly genetically differentiated,future work based on genomescale data is necessary to uncover genomic regions that are involved in divergence,and this work may provide further insights into the evolutionary histories of the 2 species and other waterfowls.

目的探讨超声内镜引导细针穿刺抽吸术（EUS-FNA）对内镜普通活检无法诊断的食管狭窄性病变的临床应用价值。方法回顾性分析2021年1月-2023年6月该院因内镜普通活检无法明确诊断而行EUS-FNA的6例食管狭窄性病变患者的临床资料，以最终手术病理或随访结果为诊断标准，分析EUS-FNA对内镜普通活检无法诊断的食管狭窄性病变的诊断准确性。结果所有患者均接受EUS-FNA，穿刺病理明确诊断为恶性肿瘤5例，慢性炎症1例。其中，5例患者接受外科手术，术后病理与穿刺病理相符，1例患者长期随访并复查胃镜，临床表现和普通胃镜结果均无恶性肿瘤证据，考虑仍为炎性改变，与穿刺病理结果一致。所有患者未发生腹痛、出血、穿孔和感染等并发症。结论 EUS-FNA用于诊断普通内镜活检无法诊断的食管狭窄性病变，是一种安全有效的方法，有较高的临床应用价值。

Prevention of laryngeal webs through endoscopic keel placement for bilateral vocal cord lesions

Transoral microresection for treatment of vocal cord lesions involving the anterior commissure may result in anterior glottic webs. In this study, we retrospectively reviewed 54 patients who underwent microsurgery for bilateral lesions involving the anterior commissure and categorized them into two groups. The keel placement and control groups received endoscopic keel placement and mitomycin C, respectively. During the follow-up of at least 1 year, the laryngeal web formation rate significantly decreased in the keel placement group compared with that in the control group （18.6% versus 54.5%, P 〈 0.05）. Furthermore, the voice handicap index-10 scores for patients without web formation decreased in both the keel placement and control groups （P 〈 0.0001 and P 〈 0.001, respectively）. A pseudomembrane covering the vocal cords was detected in 16.3% （7 of 43） cases after keel removal. A total of 100% （7 of 7） of these cases and 2.8% （1 of 36） of the other cases formed laryngeal webs （P 〈 0.0001）. Endoscopic keel placement could be an effective method for preventing anterior glottic webs after surgery for bilateral vocal cord diseases involving the anterior commissure. The pseudomembrane observed at the time of keel removal may imply a high risk of web formation.

Excessive wear is a key issue affecting the performance of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)-based artificial *** work is focussed on the biotribology behaviours of UHMWPE when mating with different metal counterparts(iron-based 316L,Co-based Stellite-S21 and Stellite-S22).According to the ASTM F732 standard,two million cycles comparative wear tests were carried out under bovine serum *** coupled with S21,S22,and 316L metal counterparts,the obtained average wear factors of UHMWPE were 1.333±0.192,1.360±0.160,and 1.190±0.177×10^(−6)mm^(3)/N·m,*** surface roughness of the metal counterpart has shown an important role in controlling the volume of UHMWPE wear,especially the first one million *** with 316L,CoCrMo-based counterparts possessed relative higher hardness and exhibited less rise in surface roughness caused by *** UHMWPE-on-metal bearings,random scratch,surface pit,and wear debris attachment were commonly seen,which suggested the coexistence of abrasion,thirdbody abrasion,and adhesion-based *** contrast,the metal counterpart was slightly scratched with no polymer transfer film *** work conducted in the present study gives useful knowledge regarding the UHMWPE-on-metal bearing *** an intention to minimise wear,surface roughness of metal counterpart should be carefully controlled.

Transition metal oxides as anode materials for high-performance lithium-ion batteries suffer from severe capacity decay,originating primarily from particle pulverization upon volume expansion/shrinkage and the intrinsically sluggish electron/ion ***,in-situ encapsulation ofα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles into micro-sized ZnFe_(2)O_(4) capsules is facilely fulfilled through a co-precipitation process and followed by heat-treatment at optimal calcination *** porous ZnFe_(2)O_(4) scaffold affords a synergistic confinement effect to suppress the grain growth ofα-Fe2 O3 nanocrystals during the calcination process and to accommodate the stress generated by volume expansion during the charge/discharge process,leading to an enhanced interfacial conductivity and inhibit electrode pulverization and mechanical failure in the active *** these merits,the preparedα-Fe_(2)O_(3)/Fe_(2)O_(4) composite delivers prolonged cycling stability and improved rate capability with a higher specific capacity than soleα-Fe_(2)O_(3) and Fe_(2)O_(4).The discharge capacity is retained at 700 mAh g-1 after 500 cycles at 200 mA g^(-1) and 940 mAh g^(-1) after 50 cycles at 100 m A g^(-1).This work provides a new perspective in designing transition metal oxides for advanced lithium-ion batteries with superior electrochemical properties.

The development of efficient non-precious metal catalysts is important for the large-scale application of alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Here,we synthesized a composite catalyst of Cu and Mo_(2)C(Cu/Mo_(2)C)using Anderson-type polyoxometalates(POMs)synthesized by the facile soaking method as *** electronic interaction between Cu and Mo_(2)C drives the positive charge of Cu,alleviating the strong adsorption of hydrogen at the Mo site by modulating the d-band center of Mo_(2)*** studying the interfacial water structure using in situ attenuated total reflection surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy(ATR-SEIRAS),we determined that the positively charged Cu crystals have the function of activating water molecules and optimizing the interfacial water *** interfacial water of Cu/Mo_(2)C contains a large amount of free water,which could facilitate the transport of reaction *** to activated water molecules and optimized interfacial water structure and hydrogen adsorption energy,the overpotential of Cu/Mo_(2)C is 24 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) and 178 mV at a current density of 1000 mA·cm^(-2).This work improves catalyst performance in terms of interfacial water structure optimization and deepens the understanding of water-mediated catalysis.

The condition of the motor oil in civilian cars is difficult to monitor;hence,we propose a method to evaluate the degree of degradation of motor oil using an on‐board diagnostic(OBD)*** civilian cars and four motor oils(containing mineral oils and synthetic oils)were subjected to five groups of road tests under urban traffic and high‐way *** operation information,oil service time,mileage,engine operation time,idle time of the engine,and number of start‐ups of the engine were obtained using the proposed OBD *** properties and changes in the components of motor oils during road tests were analyzed in *** theoretical model of the comprehensive indicators of driving parameters and oil properties were *** proposed method was successfully applied to different cars,motor oils,and operating conditions in road *** the theoretical models had high accuracy and ***,we provide a method to monitor the oil condition with real‐time driving parameters and provide a reference for end users to change their motor oil reasonably.
