A model predictive control strategy with switching cost functions for cooperative operation of trains

The cooperative control of trains is proposed as an innovative method for further improving operation efficiency. Model predictive control(MPC) has been widely discussed for multiple trains because it can handle the challenges posed by the cooperative control problem, such as complex constraints. In real situations, multiple objectives, such as comfort and safety, must be considered when controlling multiple trains with MPC, and the total objective may change during operation, affecting control performance. In this paper, a distributed structure based on switching cost function model predictive control(ScMPC) for multiple trains in a switching situation is given, where the cost functions of the train control problem change with the variable demand of cooperative operation. Furthermore, the feasibility of the proposed method and stability of the closed-loop system are proved to guarantee the stable operation of the controlled ***, the control method’s effectiveness is verified. Three kinds of cost functions are given, and their control performance is compared to show the effect of different weights and the advantage of ScMPC.

High-speed rail(HSR) has formed a networked operational scale in China. Any internal or external disturbance may deviate trains’ operation from the planned schedules, resulting in primary delays or even cascading delays on a network scale. Studying the delay propagation mechanism could help to improve the timetable resilience in the planning stage and realize cooperative rescheduling for dispatchers. To quickly and effectively predict the spatial-temporal range of cascading delays, this paper proposes a max-plus algebra based delay propagation model considering trains’ operation strategy and the systems’ constraints. A double-layer network based breadth-first search algorithm based on the constraint network and the timetable network is further proposed to solve the delay propagation process for different kinds of emergencies. The proposed model could deal with the delay propagation problem when emergencies occur in sections or stations and is suitable for static emergencies and dynamic emergencies. Case studies show that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve the computational efficiency of the large-scale HSR network. Moreover, the real operational data of China HSR is adopted to verify the proposed model, and the results show that the cascading delays can be timely and accurately inferred, and the delay propagation characteristics under three kinds of emergencies are unfolded.

Safe and reliable automatic train control is a primary consideration for any advanced rail transit *** paper introduces the characteristic model-based modeling method into ATC system and develops an all-coefficient adaptive *** characteristic models,namely speed characteristic model and position characteristic model,are established for analyzing both train traction and cruising dynamical *** strategies are proposed using single speed feedback and speed/position *** simulations are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategies,showing that control objective and required dynamic performance are well ***,the system shows robustness against time-varying model uncertainties and unknown operational environment dynamics.

This paper proposes a modified Couzin and velocity-adaptive Couzin flocking model based on fuzzy rules. In the models, agents update their positions through a fuzzy-rule-based decision-making scheme in three perception zones. Stability of the systems are guaranteed. Simulations demonstrate that the convergence probability and relative converging size are both improved.

小米以其高营养价值和保健功能受到消费者的青睐。随着健康中国战略的提出,国家和居民也越来越注重健康营养膳食平衡食品的摄取。本研究从消费偏好的视角出发,以小米生产和消费大省河北省为例,运用无序多分类Logistic回归分析研究不同年龄群体对小米产品的消费偏好。结果表明:小米产品的口感、营养价值以及保健功能3个因素对各个年龄群体的消费偏好都具有显著影响;相比60岁及以上的老年群体,青少年群体和青年群体更偏好于小米产品的品牌、包装、产品种类以及购买的便利程度,中青年群体更关注产品品质、代际间的消费习惯、卖场的优惠活动以及价格。据此,从提升小米产品品质、开发适合不同群体的小米多功能产品、注重小米品牌建设、拓宽小米产品销售渠道等方面提出了相应的对策和建议。
