The Permian Period was a critical time interval during which various blocks of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau have experienced profound and complex paleogeographical *** supercontinent Pangea was formed to its maximum during this interval,hampering a global east-to-west trending equatorial warm ocean ***,a semi-closed Tethys Ocean warm pool formed an eastward-opening oceanic embayment of Pangea,and became an engine fostering the evolutions of organisms and environmental changes during the Paleozoic-Mesozoic *** and preserved fossil groups have proved extremely useful in understanding such changes and the evolutionary histories of the Qinghai-Tibetan *** distributed Permian deposits and fossils from various blocks of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau exhibited varied characteristics,reflecting these blocks’different paleolatitude settings and drifting *** Himalaya Tethys Zone south to the Yarlung Zangbo suture zone,located in the northern Gondwanan margin,yields fossil assemblages characterized by cold-water organisms throughout the Permian,and was affliated to those of the *** of the exotic limestone blocks within the Yarlung Zangbo suture zone are Guadalupian(Middle Permian)to Early Triassic in *** exotic limestone blocks bear fossil assemblages that have transitional affinities between the warm Tethys and cold Gondwanan regions,suggesting that they most probably represent seamount deposits in the Neo-Tethys *** the Asselian to Sakmarian(Cisuralian,also Early Permian),the Cimmerian microcontinents in the northern part of Gondwana preserved glacio-marine deposits of Asselian to Sakmarian,and contained typical Gondwana-type cold-water *** the middle Cisuralian(~290-280 Ma),the Cimmerian microcontinents rifted off from the Gondwanaland,and drifted northward allometrically due to the active magmatism of the Panjal Traps in the northern margin of the Indian *** slices of micro

A knowledge graph(KG)is a knowledge base that integrates and represents data based on a graph-structured data model or *** have made efforts to construct geosciencerelated KGs to overcome semantic heterogeneity and facilitate knowledge representation,data integration,and text ***,there is currently no comprehensive paleontology KG or data-driven discovery based on *** this study,we constructed a two-layer model to represent the ordinal hierarchical structure of the paleontology KG following a top-down construction *** ontology containing 19365 concepts has been defined up to *** this basis,we derived the synonymy list based on the paleontology KG and designed corresponding online functions in the OneStratigraphy database to showcase the use of the KG in paleontological research.

Electroacupuncture Alleviates HIF1-α-mediated Early Mitophagy in Spinal Cord Injury

海上紫菜养殖筏架分布无规律、大小不规则且数量较多,现场测量难度大、卫星影像空间分辨率低,不能精确测量出紫菜筏架面积。无人机机动性强、影像空间分辨率高,可在紫菜养殖调查中发挥重要作用。本研究以连云港海州湾紫菜养殖筏架为研究对象,开展可见光波段在养殖筏架与水体的光谱可区分度研究,基于6种植被指数,进行自动提取实验,以目视解译结果作为真值,进行精度分析,同时利用不同时相、不同区域的无人机可见光影像,开展方法的普适性研究。结果表明:绿色度坐标(green, G)和植被(vegetativen, VEG)指数方法在浅水区和深水区均表现较好,养殖筏架个数识别精度、面积识别精度均超过91.00%。基于此,利用上述两种方法,开展其他区域自动提取实验,养殖筏架个数识别精度、面积识别精度分别超过93.02%和89.37%。结果验证了无人机可见光影像可以实现紫菜养殖筏架的自动提取,精度基本满足紫菜养殖调查需求。

研究了超声处理对Al-2Sn合金凝固组织及除气的影响,除气效果用密度法来表征。结果表明,超声处理对铸锭凝固组织的细化和除气有极佳的效果。使用2000 W超声功率处理30 s的晶粒细化效果最好,铸锭断面组织主要为等轴晶;使用2000 W超声处理60 s具有最佳的除气效果,此时铸锭的密度和除气率最高,分别为2.7224 g/cm^(3)和67%。最后对高强超声的细化和除气机理也进行了分析。

目的对青少年特发性脊柱侧凸(adolescent idiopathic scoliosis,AIS)患者间质干细胞的基因芯片数据进行生物信息学分析,探究AIS致病机制和治疗靶点。方法从基因表达综合数据库(gene expression omnibus,GEO)下载基因芯片GSE110359,获取AIS患者与非AIS患者间质干细胞中的基因表达谱。利用加权基因共表达网络分析(weighted gene co-expression network analysis,WGCNA)识别AIS关键模块,并对其进行基因本体(gene ontology,GO)功能分析和京都基因与基因组百科全书(Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes,KEGG)富集分析;同时,对其28种不同类型免疫细胞进行免疫细胞浸润分析和蛋白质-蛋白质相互作用(protein-protein interaction,PPI)分析,并筛选出核心基因。结果确定8个基因共表达模块,GO富集在对氧减少的反应水平、低氧反应、对氧水平的反应、核糖核蛋白复杂组装、胶原蛋白-包含细胞外基质、剪接体snRNP复合物、snRNA结合、细胞外基质结构组成,KEGG信号通路富集在低氧诱导因子-1信号通路、剪接体、细胞铁死亡、脂肪酸降解等通路。此外,免疫浸润结果发现,AIS组单核细胞较非AIS组明显减少(P<0.05);而AIS组的活化树突状细胞浸润程度更高(P<0.05),通过PPI分析,筛选出血管生成素样4(angiopoietin-like4,ANGPTL4)、CXC基序趋化因子配体8(C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 8,CXCL8)、溶质载体家族2成员1(solute carrier family 2 member 1,SLC2A1)、己糖激酶2(hexokinase 2,HK2)、转铁蛋白受体蛋白(transferrin receptor protein,TFRC)在内的5个核心基因。结论ANGPTL4、CXCL8、SLC2A1、HK2、TFRC是AIS患者的潜在生物标志物与治疗靶点,而单核细胞和活化树突状细胞可能是AIS患者的重要免疫治疗靶点。

Performance characterization of ionic-hydrogel based strain sensors

Ionic hydrogels,owing to the advantages of stretchability,conductivity and transparency,have attracted more attention for developing new soft sensors and artificial *** works on ionic-hydrogel based sensors mostly focus on material synthesis,structure design and functional integration,while few studies investigate the characterization of their sensing *** this paper,we present a method to characterize the performance(e.g.,sensitivity,linearity and repeatability)of a kind of ionic-hydrogel based strain sensors by varying the testing frequencies and the sensors’geometry(e.g.,length-width(L/W)ratio).To this end,we first develop an experimental testing platform and fabricate a series of strain sensors made of the polyacrylamide(PAAm)hydrogel containing ionic conductive *** establish an equivalent electrical model to represent the ionic-hydrogel based strain sensors,indicating the influence of the testing frequencies and L/W ratio of the ionic hydrogels on their sensing *** theoretical predictions are in agreement with results obtained through experimental *** further demonstrate that(1)the sensitivity of the strain sensors,characterized by the gauge factor(GF),increases with the rise of testing frequencies but tends to be stable over the frequency of 5 kHz;(2)the sensitivity GF has a nonlinear relation with the L/W ratio of the strain sensors,but with a certain maximum value under the same testing frequency when the L/W ratio equals to *** verify the above experimental observations with two commonly used electrolytes,including lithium chloride and sodium *** the optimum testing frequency and L/W ratio,we finally conduct various experiments to demonstrate the low hysteresis and good repeatability of our ionic-hydrogel based strain *** work provides an approach to characterize the performance of the ionic-hydrogel based strain sensors,which may be an important step forward in further applicatio

Regulation of interlayer channels of graphene oxide nanosheets in ultra-thin Pebax mixed-matrix membranes for CO_(2) capture

For the application of carbon capture by membrane process,it is crucial to develop a highly permeable CO_(2)-selective *** this work,we reported an ultra-thin polyether-block-amide(Pebax)mixedmatrix membranes(MMMs)incorporated by graphene oxide(GO),in which the interlayer channels were regulated to optimize the CO_(2)/N_(2) separation *** membrane preparation conditions were systematically investigated on the influence of the membrane structure and separation performance,including the lateral size of GO nanosheets,GO loading,thermal reduction temperature,and *** results demonstrated that the precisely regulated interlayer channel of GO nanosheets can rapidly provide CO_(2)-selective transport channels due to the synergetic effects of size sieving and preferential *** GO/Pebax ultra-thin MMMs exhibited CO_(2)/N_(2) selectivity of 72 and CO_(2) permeance of 400 GPU(1 GPU=106 cm^(3)(STP)·cm^(2)·s^(-1)·cmHg^(-1)),providing a promising candidate for CO_(2) capture.

A novel beta-galactose-specific lectin of the tubeworm,Ridgeia piscesae,from the hydrothermal vent

Lectins are sugar-specific binding proteins or glycoproteins that play important physiological roles in cellular recognition and regulation. And they are also valuable in medicine and pharmacy. Tubeworm is the representative species around the hydrothermal vent in the deep sea. They have developed unique mechanisms to adapt to the harsh environment. In this study, a 1 092 bp cDNA, designed as rpgal, was first cloned and characterized from the tubeworm Ridgeia piscesae. Sequence analysis showed that RPGAL had low homology with the known galectin. And it had two homologous carbohydrate-recognition domains, which is the characteristic of the tandem-repeat type galectins. The RPGAL was successfully recombinant expressed in Escherichia coli and purified. Analysis of biological activity revealed that RPGAL was metal ion independent and it could agglutinate all the vertebrate erythrocytes tested. It was stable at 10-50℃ and pH 5-10. And the hemagglutinating activity of RPGAL was strongly inhibited by D-Lactose and lipopolysaccharide. Although RPGAL had no effect on the microorganisms tested, it showed anti-tumor activity towards HeLa cells and HT1080 cells, which was accomplished by apoptosis. The study demonstrated that RPGAL was a novel galectin and provided a potential candidate for therapy of anti-tumor.

Soft ionic-hydrogel electrodes for electroencephalography signal recording

Wet gel electrodes have been widely used for electroencephalography(EEG) signal recording, which generally causes skin abrasion and longer preparation time. In this paper, we present soft ionic-hydrogel based electrodes to overcome such *** order to conveniently measure the EEG signals, we design the claw-like and patch-like structures for robust connection between metal(Ag/Ag Cl) electrodes and skin scalps. Next, we experimentally show that the soft ionic-hydrogel based electrodes have similar performance with the conventional wet gel electrodes in terms of the short-circuit noise, electrical impedance, and skin-electrode contact impedance on unprepared human skin, significantly better than dry electrodes and water-based *** further perform the EEG measurements and steady-state visual evoked potentials(SSVEP) experiments with five subjects to verify the effectiveness of the soft ionic-hydrogel based electrodes. The experimental results demonstrate that our developed soft ionic-hydrogel electrodes can record high-quality EEG signals in a fast and clean way, being a compelling option for EEG-based brain-computer interfaces.
